Try to run crystal disk health check Ur hdd might be failing or dying Or try it on diff laptop if still not recognised..u need do a suface scan of disk for bad sectors on hdd. Mostly ur hdd is dying

Sometimes it's the laptop's fault. It might don't support it. Just like my HP mini 110-3100, I tried to plug in my iPhone to sideload but it rejects it since the laptop blocks any device that aren't compatible or not banned by the manufacturer

If it shows up in disk management, you can delete the partition about it that’s it it’s in and make a new one that actually works. That’s how I did it.
I have Windows 10 & i couldn't find the create a partition button this whole day ( i just bought a new hdd drive but it's not working at all) I'll end up throwing it 😡
I tried unplugging it while running and added again and then opened new disk management 😂

@@vijay_shankarif you Have a 3.5 desktop Hard disk You Need a 3.5 enclouser if its laptop 2.5 hdd the. You need a cheap one 2.5 enclosure

If the drive letter is showin run this on command prompt(as admin)
Chkdsk /f /r drive letter: and press enter

i have the same drive lol but it shows up in disk management though, but cant partition it for some reason.
This drive partition is corrupt
If it shows up in disk management, you can delete the partition about it that’s it it’s in and make a new one that actually works. That’s how I did it.
