    I wish I came across Parenti when I was younger, I would have saved myself years of dead ends.

    In Croatia I asked for a Cockta which was the drink produced in Yugoslavia and still produced nowadays...the waitress said ''we don't have it but if you want we have Coca Cola''.

      As a Croatian American I can vouch Cockta is a thing of the past like Marshal Tito ;)

    Read some of his books. Then start reading Marx/Engels/Lenin/Stalin when you are ready for the most sound, concrete theory and action to solve the problems. Lenin has an entire book devoted to IMPERIALISM.

    @rumco No of course you don't want the government coercing you. But corporations and private firms, that's perfectly okay!

    its fairly simple i think if you are loyal to the rich you are antiamerican as well as antihumanity in general it would be shameful to say otherwise

    @rumco LOL @ you not listening to a word he said. Now, make a coherent argument related to the other 99% of his talk, and you're getting somewhere. It's funny how so many people who LOL @ socialism and LOL @ Marxism have never actually read Marx and know relatively nothing about those theories. I used to be one of those people.

    I don't think that socialism is going to save us from the ills of capitalism in the long run. Any time power and money are centralized you have the eventual corruption that comes with it. What we need is a decentralized government. We can do that by utilizing new technologies, especially Blockchain technology, the most notable application of which is Bitcoin.

    • @drill6739
      @drill6739 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      what makes you think that a decentralized government would put an end to imperialism lol

      “greed” only exists when the profit motive exists. in the past when revisionists have restored capitalism against the will of the working class in socialist countries it was the ideology of capitalism that inclined them to do it. in the long run, if we struggle hard enough against the culture of capitalism embodied in revisionist party members and individuals, as mao theorized, as well as the capitalist forces of the world wishing to overthrow the socialist state, than it will be just fine and will negate capitalism completely through communism. a decentralized government doesn’t negate the contradictions of capitalism, which is primarily class struggle, nor does it somehow halt the natural capitalist stage of imperialism.
