Absolutely fantastic work
Thank you very much!
😮 Great job
Thanks Phil
To jest arcydzieło . Pozdrawiam
Dziekuje i pozdrawiam
In the video you stated that sanding was one way to remove the top coat on SMOOTH leather, but it would leave patches on GRAINY leather due to imperfections when sanding. If that is the case, what would be the best way to get rid of top coat on grainy leather? If you have a a video already explaining this, would you mind sending the link? If not, would you be willing to provide an explanation?
Awesome video! Music is a bit loud when music transitions occur, but very informative! Thanks🙂
Thank you. When it comes to grainy leather i also Sand it but only lightly, then i use solvent cleaner that disolves the top coat for example Colourlock GLD or Geist Disolves.
@OCDDetailing2021 got it. thank you for the fast reply!
@@lukebenavides8804 no problem 👍
Thank you for a very informative video. I thought you explained everything very clearly.
I am reluctant to make any criticism but there is one. The music is some kind of cruel and unusual punishment. Very painful to listen to.
Nevertheless a very worthwhile and useful video. Thanks again !
Thanks for your comment Christopher, I have to say music isn't my strongest point, I am looking into that as I get more comments about how bad it is.👍
the music is fine -- you just don't like it and that's ok...it does not need to be changed just bc you don't like it...grow up
@@OCDDetailing2021the music does not need to be changed ...that person doesn't like it but that doesn't mean you need to change it...great video and music
Appx how much would this cost to do on a Jeep Commander? Leather is in very good shape but is ugly burgundy color. I would like to make it a taupe color or black.
Hi Chris, can you send me some photos of front and back of the seats, This will hellp me to have a good idea. My phone number is 0872619541.
What was the name of the leather cleaner you used, please?
it is Colourlock Strong
how much such jobs will cost today just for two front seats in Ireland?
Can you send me photos of the seats to hello@ocddetailing.ie , I will be able to give you quote. Regards. Peter
@@OCDDetailing2021 how much for these two which you used in your video?
How long does it last
In a daily car it lasts about 2 years before it would start to wear off on the bolsters, I don't offer color change for daily cars, in weekend car it will last for long time.
Where are you based and how do I contact you?
I am based in Ferbane Co. Offaly my Phone is 0872619541, or email hello@ocddetailing.ie
Is it the same for the door panels, since the surface is harder?
I use this paints for plastics but only for spot repairs and only for areas that are not exposed for regular contact. But if you wanted to spray whole plastic panels it would be better to find paints designed for that.
Your in the states? How much would just door panels, and odds an in's on a car? The front seats id prob buy some and go around them
Hi, no I am based in Ireland, try to search for Colourlock or Geist leather restoration services, you should find someone close by.
