Stu Hart and Rikidozan must be in the conversation for most important people in wrestling history (I'm talking purely wrestling, obviously McMahon has been the most important person business wise) Look at the list of legends that were either a son, a son in law, or were trained (and stretched) in the dungeon. Rikidozan trained the two most important men in Japanese wrestling. I don't think Stu gets enough credit, not only did he train them the physical side, he made sure they took the business seriously. Bret and Owen were stills having great matches in an era of Doink the clowns, repo-men and a whole mess of rubbish gimmicks. At the same time All Japan was having some of the greatest matches of all time, Misawa, Hansen, Dr Death, kobashi, Vader, Taue, Gordy, kawada ect. -the Armstrong's are another family that isn't talked about.
Should have showed the rest. Dynamite was upset they legally took the name British Bulldogs from him. He used to carry Davey physically in matches. Screwed up his body, when it was Davey's turn he took off and left him. I don't blame Dynamite for being upset with him. Davey was a lazy wrestler. Bret himself said he was blasted out of his mind on drugs during their event in Britain. You saw how bloated and fat he got in WCW. He cheated on his wife with Sunny. Dude isn't some type of hero.
Yeah, Jake Roberts said both he and Davey were Davey would start insigating people and leave dynamite to handle the fights davey would cause. Davey would thriw cigarettes into Hake's snake bag pussing off the snake cause it to bite jake and would inject steroids into their dog and steal jimmy harts meglhone and blast it in the dogs face so it would immediately go for jimmy when let off the leash in matches against harts guys.
From the British Bulldog documentary, from the A&E channel.
