Hi, l'm late lol but I’m looking around for an R6 for sale here in CA and found this nice review of the bike. Is $7k for a 2006 50th anniversary R6 in excellent condition overpriced or is it a good price. I no nothing about R6's and feel like it's too overpriced for an 18 year old bike. I just wanna make sure it’s no outdated. I'd like to know what you think. I offered $6,500 and the guy won't sell unless it's 7k.

Awesome bike my oldest son has a 2006 yamaha r6 i have a Suzuki GSX600F a 1982 Harley Davidson 1200 sportser 25th anniversary a 1979 Harley Davidson 900 sportser Chopper 7Ft springer front end i had a 1977 Yamaha RD400 for a older 2 stroke sports bike they are a blast

unbelievable how factory makes these bike sound so bad
and to make things worse, the buyer doesn't change the exhaust even before signing the paperwork .
to make you scream, even after a lot miles the owner doesnt change the exhaust
if that exhaust doesn't causes you to cringe
you don't belong on sport bike
sport bike must have an aggressive deep sound
Save it for the track...proceeds to open it up full throttle and not saving it for the track.

No, just no. This needs an actual reviewer on a track and talk about the engine configuration. I have one right here, nothing is being tested here but how it looks and cruising through some roads. Alot more than you mentioned changed in that engine.

Nice man, I just got the same bike about 3 weeks ago. Currently rebuilding the engine. Bought it with 32,000 on it.
why ?
I don't know the reason why yet. Should be getting it back in a few days. I brought it back to where I bought it to have it tuned and run on the dyno and I guess they ran into some problems and called me and told me they're gonna rebuild the engine and give me a warranty. Can't say no to that but man do I miss riding. Unfortunately they don't give out loaner bikes....
R6 is my favourite bike in super sports..also it can sing so high like celindion or adele.😇damn she can sing.
