    I think the university professor is a great interlocutor with K precisely because he is so much used to using his intellect. Over these conversations we really see K open this professor's mind.

    What a remarkable man Allan W Anderson AWA was and what a service he has done to mankind! How he listens and navigates without any ego whatsoever, just so that the Master can shine through. Fascinating!

    its crazy how jk made me see how limited my life is because of all the conditioning of the past. i've been noticing my behaviors and how i go throughout my day. its just so sad that most of our lives are guided by fear and pleasure like jk said.

    Alan Anderson was completely on point with the reference to Keats, which becomes even more apparent with the flowery band metaphor appearing later on in the poem. This precisely describes the fragility, intense attention and care required to constantly observe the movement of one's thought as Krishnamurthi would say and to prevent it from forming images and betraying the present in a relationship.

    I feel quite pity to realise how our thoughts and as a result actions are constructed by the society, education and by the family. Our lives are like in a paralysed state, we don't understand, do not realize and do not react to all the craziness around us. We do not allow ourselves spend a second to focus on "now". We make our brains our slaves, who is enslaved to make us distract from our past regrets, guilts and their future punishments.
    We need to save this slave from every illisuion we have created, to own it again in a real sense.
    This is not something we will manage with breathing and concentration exercises or by thinking or by reading and learning more. It requires a full time awareness, observation and a rock solid honesty to own and not judge all our goods, bads and everything left...

      If you own your slave, doesn't your brain become slave of you?

    one thing i understand is that i cannot just stop myself from making images about the other just by will. if i completely want to end this image making. then i have to see the tremendous danger of it not intellectually but in my own life like how i never really meet my brothers, sisters , friends or any human being. its the key to freedom.

    I am the world, and the world is me. So, objective reality is illusion. When outer is inner, then "something strange takes place" which is consciousness of irresponsible becomes /is the consciousness of responsible, because outer is inner, and inner is outer, I am the world, and the world is me, showing me where shite in me is hiding- "inward intention"

    Isn't it marvellous to see that how clear and understandable the each sentence of JK. I see it as a blessing to listen to him and understand him.
    However, the people sitting next to him, they always join the conversation from a 3rd person view with mystical, supernatural way. Poems, old books, sayings of old famous people, religions etc. They are not listening him to understand but to feel secured by benchmarking their teachings and beliefs. Rarely they come up with their own expressions.
    All this mystical and supernatural nonsense makes people-in-search, feel something wrong with themselves, because they can not understand or understand partially. It makes people believe in that you have to come to a superior level of mind or existence to understand all these subjects, or they give up.
    JK saves the thinking and speaking of life, from the monopoly of all mystic and religious, hard-to-understand nonsense... He is the embodied form of the saying;
    " less is more"

      @YoNevNo 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The mystical "nonsense" you describe may seems so to you because of the limited translations and the culture in which these stories were originally told. But in the right seeing one can glean the truth from them, which is what Dr. Anderson is doing. Also he interjects with these experiences, knowledge and perception of his because that helps the conversation penetrate into the wider set of audience who come from all kinds of backgrounds and experiences all over the world. His and others in conversation with Krishnamurty help the listener see more depth into the otherwise easily glossed over points, etc. As Jiddu said this whole process is pure learning between and for both the teacher and the student.

    It seems like ridding oneself of all images & dedicating all energy to the ever-changing fact of life is really the key to having all the answers at your fingertips, according to JK. And I don’t disagree ❤

    Because we believe ourselves and are further conditioned to believe that we are separate from everyone else, we then believe that we are only responsible for ourselves - even in our relationships with others as well as to life itself. It is just one (significant) component of humanity's "tragedy of the commons" that is leading us all (not to mention subsequent generations) towards far more suffering than anyone experiences today.

    I find something interesting in the thought of responsibility without attachment in that an individual while not attached to their spouse still has the responsibility to act within the relationship where the responsibility is not a reaction to a circumstance but a quality of character

    • @sreedevivinnakota9255

      teacher is student and student is the teacher.
      both are learning .....
      trees get carbondioxide.....taking oxygen. mutual dependency for existence . awakening of intelligence happens between teacher and student when learning happens mutually .

    • @punitawasthi3138
      @punitawasthi3138 ปีที่แล้ว

      While teaching, the teacher should not keep himself on a pedestal meaning if ego comes in learning is ruined completely. And if ego is there , there is learning from the past. Not an active creative learning emerging in the moment between teacher and student.
