    I notice that Krishnamurti often emphasizes "seriousness". That is legitimate and to be upheld - up to a point. Bear in mind, though, that seriousness can also be an obstacle to insight or great breakthroughs. Have you not heard the expression "The reason angles can fly is because they don't take themselves so seriously"? The point is that a certain lightness of spirit is needed for insight.

    • @Gaurav.P0
      @Gaurav.P0 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Krishnamurti' definition of seriousness is different than what we know.
      I think, he mean by seriousness is to be "aware".
      To remain passionate and completely aware of yourself.

    • @ThomiX0.0
      @ThomiX0.0 ปีที่แล้ว

      question yourself the following: is the thought of a dictator 'serious'?
      it obviously isn't , does it?
      His actions taken from his faulty ideas are serious, but he was not serious in knowing himself..which causes the effects.

    Conventionally, love is the supreme satisfaction or fulfillment of wants, desires, and cravings (the feeling of physical and/or psychological pleasure). Unconventionally, love is the feeling of pure joy one experiences in the presence of true freedom (from thought and beliefs - from the ego).

    After OSHO, There Is J. Krishnamurti.
    As OSHO said, Krishnamurti was far greater than Christ and Socrates.
    He did not want to create a discipleship commune that's why he couldn't impact the world to the fullest potential.
    Nevertheless, J.Krishnamurti was endorsed as an Enlightened Being by OSHO,
    So I listen to him sometimes.

    "How can a human being do such thing"... K says.
    And those "human beings" have such the same idea, but do things as "such thing" worse, more cruel than all other animal species.
    Where does this idea that humans are to differently behave ... come from? Could it really mean in the degrees than the behavioral differences ... more cruel, powerful than the rest in the animal kingdom?
    The idea that mankind is supposed to be different from all other animal species maybe is a part of the evolution that went into the brain but hasn't yet made its way to the heart. Where is the connector or what could have been blocking it?

    On the other hand, all of this introspection might take all of the fun out of life. I don't think that Krishnamurti ever truly relaxed or had fun. While some may let religion or some other thing prevent that, I think that in his case, his overthinking things that could stagnate a person just by the very action of thinking about them. There is something to be said for both spontaneity AND indulgence in the things that make us smile.

      I’ve thought this on occasion aswell, but maybe that’s like the belief we have as children that our teachers go home and wait for school to start the next day. It’s hard to imagine him outside of the environment of these talks, but I’ll bet he knew how to enjoy himself

    • @shubhamchauhan1893
      @shubhamchauhan1893 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      This introspection isn't analysis borne.. Analysis would be the domain of thought.
      And all thought is the past and that is the broad point of K, to be free of the past and of all our conditionings. It's sheer awareness and in awareness there is no labor.. Only joy. Happiness and pleasure are worthless in front of joy

    • @Zscor27
      @Zscor27 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shubhamchauhan1893 pleasure isnt the same as happiness. You saying happiness is worthless means you have not watched K enough to understand the word. Happiness=freedom=whole=love etc..

    • @sinhle610
      @sinhle610 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      With all due respect and from my utter sincerity, I'd like to suggest something: if you can have all the fun without the external things that are supposed to bring about fun, then can fun ever be taken away from you? Similarly, if you're naturally beautiful, do you need tons of make-up and cosmetic surgery to improve your outer beauty? K.'s teachings are not about overthinking. They're about how to free your mind from thoughts, i.e. stop any thinking altogether. But to be able to be there, one has to go through some serious observation of one's own mind, which most of us are not patient enough to do. Also, he did not suggest any introspection, because it's then just one more thought...
