I only played Insect Glaive and Duals in Rise and can't say about how they are in other games, but so far I'd say that Duals are the easiest weapon to pick up and the biggest trap a newbie can get stuck in. I know two players that chose this weapon at the start of their MH journey and only learned to mash until monster dies and get completely trampled by a good match up Overall duals feel a little too strong in Rise, but honestly, what doesn't? 😅 I got mixed feelings about the Glaive in Rise. On one hand I understand that there are limitations in terms of inputs and balance, but on the other it seems that it's the weapon that could synergyze with wirebug the most and would benefit a lot from it, but instead barely uses it and somr switch skills are honestly crap. It is still worth learning and playing though, as it feels absolutely amazing to follow a monster into the air and dominate in them in their own element
Im very surprised that Longsword (and somewhat surprised that Light Bowgun) wasn't included in the "fast" category. Of the fast weapons, the Insect Glaive is that only one that I enjoy playing. (HH/Hammer main, though I also use Lance as my go-to variety weapon.)
@@healexhelixvideos4680 long sword is going in to Medium weapons and there will be a whole video dedicated to ranged weapons. I’m also a Hammer main and I play the lance as a secondary
I only use the lance, and i only play Monster Hunter mainline games. So yes, I have played world since launch, and I have put in almost 13,000 hours in solo lance. In march i change to wilds and will play only that for 5 to 6 years. And I hated rise, it was reminding me of the handheld mh games that I hate
Sns truly is the second best weapon in every category in MH4 you can use jump attacks up ledges very useful very funny
