I had a PKR on 3/9/23, unqualified people were telling me I should get FNR but my surgeon knows what he’s doing and has done an excellent job I’m now looking forward to pushing weights and returning to work.
l just got it in the medial section but the rest of the knee is normal, so if l needed surgery would it just be a partial replacement? is that alot less painful and better recovery compared to a full replacment, are there any negative to a partial replacement compared to a full replacment
Our bias to leave your healthy tissue in your body where it belongs and repair/replace only injured/damaged tissue. A partial knee replacement procedure does not remove the ligaments in your knee, making it feel like a much normal, natural-feeling knee. And there is no risk of in choosing a partial knee replacement instead of a total, as this procedure can always be expanded into a total knee replacement later in life-if needed. You can learn more about the procedure including recovery timelines here www.stoneclinic.com/partial-knee-replacement
Head to this webpage to find out all about robotic knee replacement program www.stoneclinic.com/knee-replacement. Basically, the difference is that bone cement can loosen. The implant used by Dr. Stone actually fuses directly to the bone which drastically reduces the chances of ever coming loose. This means patients can return to impact sports like running and not worry about the knee replacement failing.
Hi doctor; my MRI shows; chondromalacia pattella grade 4 and degenerative changes as the form of marginal osteophytes and reduced joint space along with lateral meniscus grade 1 injury So what procedure can be done to avoid TKR and get back to the intense jumping activities along with badminton in professional level?

My surgeon said I have a perfectly healthy knee Cartlidge and he said he sees nothing wrong with it, (after an MRI) but i have horrible knee arthritis pain after a kicking injury three years ago. I'm 47. He says there's nothing he can do. Why won't anyone help me?

Dr. Stone wrote a great blog about stem cells named "Myths and Facts About Stem Cell Therapies." You may read it here www.stoneclinic.com/blog/myths-and-facts-about-stem-cell-therapies
The term "Stem cell therapy" is being used in the medical industry in a lot different ways-and not always ethically or accurately. Here is a link to a blog from Dr. Stone explaining some facts and myths about stem cell therapies that explains what they can and can't do www.stoneclinic.com/blog/myths-and-facts-about-stem-cell-therapies
Did you say regrow the cartilage?? I must have watched every video online and you seem the only one who thinks that cartilage can be regrown. Don't get me wrong, that would be fantastic, but why the disconnect?
There are other surgery techniques that attempt to regenerate cartilage (microfracture, MACI, etc); however, these techniques do not produce durable cartilage and, thus, do not provide long term relief. Providing a couple articles here to explain how it works and our approach: www.stoneclinic.com/blog/bone-spurs-bone-gold www.stoneclinic.com/blog/articular-cartilage-repair-options
90 % of the medical practitioners out there are too damned lazy to do the work and understand where the cutting edge of medical technology is on this issue - of arthritic knees! and because someone who does a minimally invasive procedure makes a whole lot less $$ on the procedure than a physician who cuts off your thigh bone, attaches a stainless steel rod, with a plastic knee cap attached! Did you know that getting an artificial knee in this manner increases your chances of morbidity by 20%? So get a full blown knee replacement, and you will also increase your chances of dying by at least 20%! I think most doctors are lazy people who figure once they finish medical school, they're done! And also the docs who specialize in total knee replacement don't want to lose access to the $$ of a very pricey operation!
I've seen lots of videos demonstrating various cutting edge approaches to regrowing cartilage. Most of the top medical centers are doing a ton of research on various recipes for cartilage resuscitation. One school I looked into was even used ground up coral reef as part of the mix! Do your research!
Hi Doctor I have bone on bon in rhe right knee, I can still walk 3 miles and I cycle to stay fit, can recommend what is an alternative to a knee rt? Here in Australia surgeons don't offer stem cell or injected material treatment. Please advise.
Hi there. Here's a guide to our full knee program from biologic reconstruction to robotic knee replacement, this guide will give you an overview of how we determine which treatment works best to get you back to full sports www.stoneclinic.com/saving-my-knees
A physical therapist from New Mexico on TH-cam offers clear instructions on how to fix your knees: El Paso Manual Physical Therapy. Check out his videos. He helped put me on the right path. It comes down to increasing your core strength, and using your core to handle most of the work required for walking, for example. Pull yourself tall when you walk, and use your butt muscles to power your feet forward. Takes a ton of the weight off your knees! And your knees will heal! Now I'm starting Pilates as part of this approach I'm taking to healing my knees. I realized that I had been just walking, letting all the weight of my body land on my knees. You don't have to do that if you always hold the weight of your bodily movement in your core!
THIS IS AMAZING TO FIND OUT HOWEVER MOST DRS. DO NOT MENTION ANY ALTERNATIVES HERE! THIS IS FIRST I HEARD OF THESE ALTERNATIVES THANKYOU FOR SHARING 😊
Of course! You may learn abour our unique program here www.stoneclinic.com/bioknee

Glad to hear that you got a minimally invasive procedure that is working for you!

Steroid injections, Hyaluronic acid or PRP. Only 3 choices before TKR. NO evidence Stem cell therapy works.
probably cost alot of money and might not work , if l was wealthy l would try it, but l wouldnt mortgage the house for it
