Hey dale can you do some vids on biking skills and how to ride some of these harder trails and bigger features. You make these trails look very easy and I’m sure most of your subscribers (me included) would love you to break down these tails. I know you’ve already done this a little bit but would be cool to see more of these type of vids.
I have one in the works for a very famous North Shore trail! I also enjoy making them, but they usually underperform. 🙃
@@DaleStone it’s a shame they underperform. I guess there’s a lot of riders out there who think they’re a bit better than they actually are 😃
@@DaleStone They can be funded by merch. Think GamersNexus foil t-shirts. You could possibly use it to find an investigative expose against the evil bike industry cabal.
You need to be perfectly confident with smaller stuff first, make sure your bike is comfortable and capable, so having your setup 80/90% of the way there is going to make that a WHOLE lot easyer (suspension, riding position, tyre pressure, ect), once you have most of the "ingredients" ready it's just getting to do bigger and bigger stuff slowly, you will start to be able to translate more complex skills to less comfortable bikes and develop overall as a rider. Theese things take A LOT of time so don't try and rush it, you could make it worse
Watching Boostmaster last video made me immune to your climbing suffering 😅
This comment and another had me check out the Boostmaster video. Yikes. His initial cry/groan as the air left his lungs literally had me cringing. Glad he is on the mend. That was a big hit.
Still can't believe they do Warden's Climb, my lungs start stressing just thinking about that trail.
Nice result Dale! And when you add to your conglomerate of business ventures and create CATTO, I’ll be sure to support you!
CatStay does have a nice ring to it...
Hey, that's my bike at 0:32! 🤩
That's awesome how you scout in pairs, and can try two different lines at the same time to see which one is faster 🙌
It is shockingly effective, and very efficient! 😂
I want to buy your doggo product but I don't even have a dog. XD Fun vid as always!
Haha, thank you! 🫡
Makes good gifts for friends with dogs ;)
It may be the correct excuse to get a dog (if you do, PLEASE do NOT neglect him, there's already enough mistreated pets on this world already and none of them deserve it
Wow, impressive climbing abilities. Attta boy 🚴♀️
Someone has a preverse idea of fun with that climb stage followed by a stage with tight relatively flat turns and then ending that last stage right at the foot of the rocky chute. I would like to see the 9 people that beat you on the climb stage. They must be super fit.
It's an evil tradition no doubt!
I honestly wonder if the winners chose to run up... haha
I bet they climbed looney toons style with a black powder cannon
Well I wouldn't say I have a perverse idea of fun, but I do personally enjoy a good suffer pedal.
That climb looked BRUTAL, must've felt like an eternity!
Spectacular riding as always! 🔥
It definitely did! Too long to just sprint... 🥵
These races are always very nice to see.
Nice job Dale!
i don't know but that sound is so satisfying
Finally a Dale riding video, it feels like it's been so long. Conveniently, I just got a new puppy too.
haha, it's been just under a month! 😊
@@DaleStone It has felt like a lot longer for some reason. :D
Nice video. I like watching races. I also just saw the video with you and Jordon. I think I'll keep my tires on the ground.
A scary day for sure. Glad he's on the mend! 🙂
It's always fun to see the more casual races, i've watched a lot trials just because it's neat to see the communities together, elitism aside we have some awesome people in the MTB world
that climb was forever 😂
Soo awesome amazimg trail lovet
I did not skip ahead 2 minutes :D
the real MVP
@@DaleStone effort must be respected and recognized. With masochism or without XD
Race on wardens climb. I would die. 😂
Do you plan on making a dedicated video of some of the Squamish riding you’ve been doing recently? I’ve seen the little clips in your recent review vids but a long-form would be really cool.
At some point I'd like to do a talking "how-to" video about one of those trails. Maybe this year!
That would definitely be cool! The techsplained videos were super helpful
Wait, Dale Stone CRASHES? I'd have to see it to believe it tbh haha
Haha, the proof is out there somewhere, but I ain't proud of it! 😂🫣
Hey, just look at sam! Thoose teeth didn't fall off themselves XD
Your welcome.
what a spectacular trail, so many huge stumps! where is this?
See description! 🙂
@@DaleStone I did, doesn't seem to say thanks anyway
There is quite literally a section called trails with direct links to trailforks pages for each. 🤭
What kind of brakes are you using? Nice video!
th-cam.com/video/uRNO0AEUVtg/w-d-xo.html and thanks!
Need a link to your products, looking on Amazon, but they have Doggo products, but no magnetic connection, so I don’t think it’s yours. Would love to support your business as well as your channel! I have three fur babies that I need to keep in line.
We're trying to avoid Amazon as long as possible, but I'm sure we will eventually find our stuff there too haha. I appreciate the kind words, and no pressure of course! bit.ly/DogGoDale
What computer do you use?
Bolt
I´m looking out for the same brakes, but the sound with your rotors is ...... 😞
I don't notice anything different while riding at all! 🙂
By far the worst course ever. I’m only there for the vibes
I disagree, it has: excellent course variety, several different line options, and is ridable by all abilities. My only complaint is that it's too short!
@@DaleStone You’d disagree with this but climbing is not fun. The corners were so gravelly. Looking forward to Thursday!
@@FVPOV i'm a fat bastard and climbing would also be fun if it didn't take so much energy, but it's literally the only reason why it would be less fun IMO, afterall it's a nice chance to develop some techy skill if the climb requires it, and if you fall it's not catastrophic 99% of the time
@@Ferrari255GTO Haha I can do wardens, just not fast and it’s very very excruciating. It’s definitely a good opportunity to improve and develop skill & stamina.
I do enjoy timed uphill🚵😁
