    Fyi, this line is mostly credited to jack hannan. He also has some trails credited to him around crested butte colorado. He died in avalanche on mt currie in 2010. Seemed like a badass guy to say the least

      “The story of the trail’s construction, as we have heard it, goes as such. Pre 2008, the trail was originally named Titties and Beer, was very primitive and difficult to access due to its remote nature. This changed in 2008 when ski legend Jack Hannan moved close to the bottom of the trail and began working on making it more rideable, largely by himself. After a year of work, he convinced 10 friends to attempt the ride with him, leaving out the fact that the entrance was largely unfinished. Tragically, Jack died in an avalanche in March of 2010. Later that year, once the snow melted off Titties and Beer, his friends returned to the trail to finish the build and re-named it Jack the Ripper to commemorate his life.”

    Sick trail! Great riding as usual boys. How have you been getting along with the Delium tires?

      Love them. In a blind test I'd struggle to tell you the difference with Maxxgrip/DD, highly recommend!

      @@DaleStone I’ve ran through a couple rear tires and one front of the Delium’s, yup I agree they are a grippy tire. I ran the reinforced casing. For a change I’m on butcher T9 gravity casing front and back, another great tire.

    Hopping that chain at the end made my butt-hole clench. The other stuff wasn't so bad.

    When you're on remote trails like this, do you use Spot or inReach or any of the similar devices?

    • @DaleStone
      @DaleStone  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great question. Steve had ridden this one before, but had he not or had I been solo then I likely would have. We had full cell signal almost the whole way down this amazingly.

      @biggles6o4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We did actually talk about that on the way. My inReach was sitting at home, but this is definitely the sort of thing to bring it on.

      @@biggles6o4 I'm glad to hear they're known about in the mtb community! I am primarily a hiker and horseback rider, and I'm just really grateful tech like that exists these days.
