Don't give up trying to find out the reason for your symptoms. You know your body better than anyone and know when things aren't normal. Keep records of what you eat, your symptoms and keep trying! Sending you lots of best wishes
Mine was endometriosis on my bowels surgery to remove it then immediately was able to eat without having pain every single time ❤ normal ct and ultrasound doesn't see it, specialty MRI did
If things still suck for you, try the low-FODMAP. I think it was created at Monash University. It works for me. I took me almost 10 years to find a doctor to suggest that to me.
I can't even describe to people how much this helps me. I come back here during my period and ibs or dairy intolerance attacks. It's literally the only thing that helps me when I'm on the toilet just crying from the pain. I will continue to come back to this video everytime as it helps me immensely. I wish more people would take this stuff seriously

Reading these comments has made me feel like I’m not alone! I get stomach cramps, back pain and going to the toilet can be excruciating at times 🥺 people just think I’m being silly about being anxious about it. The pain I can’t even describe. I don’t know if any of you suffer with anxiety like me but my anxiety plays havoc with it! Sometimes the pain is that bad I’m about to pass out ! I’m so glad i found this. I’ve been going through the longest flare up of my life, it doesn’t matter what i eat or drink it makes me horribly sick. At the moment i can’t even get a job because the pain is so bad and the stress from that makes me feel even worse. This genuinely has helped me so much not just for my stomach but my anxiety as well. I’ve been feeling so trapped and controlled by my own body and youve made me realize that i can take back control of my body even if it’s just a little bit. ❤️
I'm sorry to hear that things have been so tough for you and IBS can certainly take over so many aspects of life. But glad to know you're recognizing it's not hopeless. And being able to regulate your stress/anxiety levels are things that can certainly help you feel more in control of the symptoms and pain.

I was suffering from ibs for a long time.i was feeling that my life is end but i started practicing this session and now i am feeling so much improvements.and one day i will say to myself that i defeated ibs.thank you so much.
IBS is so difficult and unpredictable, but we know stress can make it even worse. Regular stress relief will help you make improvements. alongside whatever your doctors tell you to do. I'm looking forward to you defeating IBS too!

I listened to this meditation when I was in the military with the most intense stomach issues of my life, (which I link to emotional issues) in the base, 7 hours from home, and a week from my military doctors appointment. This helped tremendously with the pain and also my emotional state. The torment of the military and the stress and pain were unbearable but this was a great help and I remember after listening I thought “is this real?” Haha. I couldn’t believe that I could possibly feel better where I was and in the pain I was in! Anyways, thank you to you who made this video! I am truly grateful, you really are a healer and you understand what people need for relief.

My GI specialist treated me like I wanted there to be something wrong with me because he couldn’t find anything on a CT or colonoscopy. I’m so grateful to find this as it is literally the only relief I have had in the two years I’ve been dealing with issues.

Been coming back for 4 years since upload and can’t even describe how much this helped me get out of my ibs / panic attacks due to intolerance with food. I believe nervousness makes my stomach tight , and slows down digestion . I’m sure acid and gas is the result . Meditation is a good remedy . Good job ! thank you
this is a great video for alleviation of the symptoms of IBS but do yourself a favor and look into parasite cleanses such as Para Guard, Diatomaceous Earth / mimosa pudica and etc. and the link between parasites and IBS. It may help! (I'm not a doctor)

I suffer from IBS very badly to the point where I might think it's something else but anyways, when a really bad attack comes on I get really nauseous and I get uncontrollable tremors, which make me clench my stomach more and hurt myself more it's a vicious cycle and it tends to give me a panic attack because I also don't want to throw up so it's very hard to call me down but this video helped me a lot this morning thank you ❤️

I'm so sorry to hear of your pain. If you get a chance I would encourage you to also journal your feelings and thoughts because there is a connection between your mind and your stomach. You see, feeling the pain will make you feel sad/anxious, and feeling sad or anxious will make your stomach feel worse. But doing meditations and relaxing like this will really help. Bea Lopez07 Hey Bea- if you can, listen to a speaker, Ben Warren, he explains a lot in detail about IBS. Organic yogurt is soothing to the stomach, just saying. It's hard to find something to eat when your stomach hurts.I've had several doctors the good ones in researchers online say gluten is bad for you it blocks up your system. Inflammation is causing your pain which is due to the food choices you are making. Check him out, knowledge is power. Good luck to you 🤗peace☮️
I have horrendous IBS, the pain can be awful and the bloating is immense , this really helped relax my stressed out mind and heal my stomach. I feel less discomfort and feel so much lighter . I want to continue this practise regularly. As really need soothing healing help . Thank you 🙏

Sometimes… the pain feels like I’m going to die. My IBS is so severe, that I’m afraid to eat, drink and even move. This was very soothing. I lit a candle, palo santo incence and faced east, on my giant meditation cushion. I made the mammoth effort to rise early (06:30) and ensure I don’t just sleep, trying to escape this hideous condition. I’m blessed to live in a beautiful city, where, today is perfect… balmy morning and fresh air is wafting through my apartment. Time for breakfast. Let’s hope we can all heal from this… I know , I can’t take much more.
I have been diagnosed with IBS a year ago. Have been going through intense stress after the loss of my father and marriage - all of which has caused gut issues. During flare-ups, I get horrible stomach aches and nothing helps, I just cry in pain. No doctor could offer me help. Thanks for this. This truly changed my painful condition, it helps me relax.

A year and a half ago i had the worst pain I have ever explericed in my life. It was in my stomach, and I don't know what it was. But I was in pain for days. I couldn't sit still, I threw up often purely from pain. But this video actually helped for a while. It stopped me from shaking and clamping up, and made me relax. Nothing else had made me do that. Incredible.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have found this video. I was just diagnosed with IBS in December 2020 along with a hiatal hernia. I am a 25 year old male. Everything started for me a month prior to being diagnosed. I thought I was dying, at least that's what IBS made me feel like. I have been watching this video every single day 5 to 10 times a day to keep myself in control. My anxiety is just absolutely awful and extreme - now I can make it go away just a few minutes into this video every single time. I clicked on this video on a desperate whim during a bout of intense stomach pain and discomfort. I really didn't expect much to come out of it. But I found myself instantly lulled in, and for those 20 minutes I was able to completely zone out from my pain and my noisy room and relax. Thankyou so much for this! :)

Thank you so much for a really helpful meditation. I had radiotherapy to the pelvic area 12 years ago, and have been left with complications, food intolerances and pain. The IBS pain is worse every time I worry or feel fear. Just recently, those two feelings have been triggered by an unpleasant event. I found this video by chance and the first time I tried it, the pain and tense stomach had gone by the time I’d finished, and I was so relaxed, I was ready for sleep! The relaxation allowed release of gas and the relief from pain lasted six hours. That’s better than prescription meds, which I don’t take because I got side effects. I’m now practising each day when I remember. Thank you for a simple, non judgemental, down to earth meditation without music so I can concentrate on your soothing voice. It’s really helped - it should be handed out on the NHS for all sufferers ! Bless you.

I'm sorry to hear you've been in so much pain. It can be so difficult to know what to do to relieve it. But we know that stress can increase the flare-ups. So guided meditation is one way of bringing your body and mind into deep rest.

Thank you for this relaxing exercise. I have acute IBS and I find the whole experience very relaxing. Often, when I wake during the night with stomach pains, I recall your breathing techniques and then drift off to sleep again. I’ve also today found another of the tapes on reducing anxiety. Wow. As I’m doing my own research on my IBS condition I’ve stopped eating red meat, diary and cut down my caffeine (which was only my gym pre workout); I’ve found lots of relief with these things. I always ignored the therapy recommendations as I came across them. But, was just having a flare up and sat down, found this and tried it. I’ll be coming back to this, because I feel much better now. Thanks. Sounds corny, but those of us who know, can empathize with how happy you are when you find relief to this condition.
I'm so glad you're reconsidering the mind/body relaxation suggestions. They might not bring healing about on their own, but they definitely play a part in the process as a whole.
I was diagnosed with IBS in 2008 after 8 years of pain and torment the ER doctor did exploratory surgery and found a carcinoid tumor in my small intestine. It was stage 3 at that time. I’m still living with it in 2023. If you have any doubt about your IBS diagnosis, get a second opinion. I wish I had.

Wow. After listening to this, I was so relaxed I was able to go to the bathroom probably the most relaxed ever. I suffer from gas pains often and when I feel pain, I start to shake and get very cold. Have struggled with IBS on and off through decades. Recently my doctor prescribed fenofibrate to lower my triglycerides. BIG MISTAKE! After 4 doses over 4 days I was in incredible pain and vomiting. Needless to say, we stopped the fenofibrate. This meditation ( and a couple of others) helped tremendously.

it's nice to hear such a comforting voice telling me to do what I am able. idk if I have IBS but whatever it is it gets bad. remember to drink a lot of fluids everyone. Also, I stood in the shower with this playing when I was able to get up and the hot water hitting my stomach helped a LOT. hopefully that helps someone too
This year after COVID in March, I started having diarrhoea since June, colonoscopy, ct scan, blood tests are all normal. Weight loss, abdominal pain, growling stomach, I faced it all. Finally I have up and started doing some meditation and hypnosis to slow my digestive system. Felt good now after listening to your video. Hope it helps

@@GenerationCalm I recently consulted a doctor, she saw reports, they were normal and said it's IBS. I had to overcome my brain fog(due to COVID) and stress with the help of a psychiatrist. I started meditating, kept my mind relaxed and enjoyed some tv shows. Now 2 days later I felt some improvement, about 10-15% The stress and anxiety I had was so severe at that time when it happened, almost a do or die situation but months later it impacted me so much. Now I'm trying to get away from that.!
I have been suffering from stomach related issues since long time. On and off I visit doctor and take medication for my symptoms. Which is healing me temporarily, but by doing this meditation since few days I am feeling relaxation in my stomach area and my mind is also calm. Thank you for making this video.

I'm sorry to hear of your struggles with IBS. It really is very debilitating. And of course, it seems so interconnected with mental health. If you're stressed it messes with your digestion. And if your digestion plays up ... then it makes you stressed out. No-one really has the answer to IBS yet, but we know for sure that relaxation can help ease the symptoms. I was injured during my service time and developed peritonitis and had a resection. 35 years later I still get "shivers" and cramps. These videos and especially this one work for me and keeps me off medicine.

I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which lately manifests itself as abdominal pain. This meditation is an excellent way to relieve pain during the exercise, but also teaches me how important it is to allow the pain to be, not to fight, fear or hate it. Thank you for sharing.

I've always been iffy on meditation to be honest, I have ADD so it's really hard for me to pay attention. But this, this omg it helped my IBS pain so bad. I'm used to sitting on the toilet almost crying til the pain passes. But this actually helped me so so much, I felt better much quicker than I usually do

Reading these comments has made me feel like I’m not alone! I get stomach cramps, back pain and going to the toilet can be excruciating at times 🥺 people just think I’m being silly about being anxious about it. The pain I can’t even describe. I don’t know if any of you suffer with anxiety like me but my anxiety plays havoc with it! Sometimes the pain is that bad I’m about to pass out ! I’m going to keep trying this meditation to see if this helps! You are all warriors, we will get through this no matter what! One day we will all over come IBS

I’m so glad i found this. I’ve been going through the longest flare up of my life, it doesn’t matter what i eat or drink it makes me horribly sick. At the moment i can’t even get a job because the pain is so bad and the stress from that makes me feel even worse. This genuinely has helped me so much not just for my stomach but my anxiety as well. I’ve been feeling so trapped and controlled by my own body and youve made me realize that i can take back control of my body even if it’s just a little bit. ❤️
I'm sorry to hear that things have been so tough for you and IBS can certainly take over so many aspects of life. But glad to know you're recognizing it's not hopeless. And being able to regulate your stress/anxiety levels are things that can certainly help you feel more in control of the symptoms and pain.

IBS is so difficult and unpredictable, but we know stress can make it even worse. Regular stress relief will help you make improvements. alongside whatever your doctors tell you to do. I'm looking forward to you defeating IBS too!

I listened to this meditation when I was in the military with the most intense stomach issues of my life, (which I link to emotional issues) in the base, 7 hours from home, and a week from my military doctors appointment. This helped tremendously with the pain and also my emotional state. The torment of the military and the stress and pain were unbearable but this was a great help and I remember after listening I thought “is this real?” Haha. I couldn’t believe that I could possibly feel better where I was and in the pain I was in! Anyways, thank you to you who made this video! I am truly grateful, you really are a healer and you understand what people need for relief.

My GI specialist treated me like I wanted there to be something wrong with me because he couldn’t find anything on a CT or colonoscopy. I’m so grateful to find this as it is literally the only relief I have had in the two years I’ve been dealing with issues.
Have you tried the low-FODMAP diet? I was sick for about 10 years before I found someone who knew what to do. Monash University came up with the diet.

Been coming back for 4 years since upload and can’t even describe how much this helped me get out of my ibs / panic attacks due to intolerance with food. I was hysterical before watching this video and always somehow end up completely back to my relaxed painless self after listening.

I believe nervousness makes my stomach tight , and slows down digestion . I’m sure acid and gas is the result . Meditation is a good remedy . Good job ! thank you

this is a great video for alleviation of the symptoms of IBS but do yourself a favor and look into parasite cleanses such as Para Guard, Diatomaceous Earth / mimosa pudica and etc. and the link between parasites and IBS. It may help! (I'm not a doctor)

I suffer from IBS very badly to the point where I might think it's something else but anyways, when a really bad attack comes on I get really nauseous and I get uncontrollable tremors, which make me clench my stomach more and hurt myself more it's a vicious cycle and it tends to give me a panic attack because I also don't want to throw up so it's very hard to call me down but this video helped me a lot this morning thank you ❤️
So hard sometimes to get out of that vicious cycle of pain and anxiety. I hope you can continue to heal and get some support with your IBS symptoms

I'm so sorry to hear of your pain. If you get a chance I would encourage you to also journal your feelings and thoughts because there is a connection between your mind and your stomach. You see, feeling the pain will make you feel sad/anxious, and feeling sad or anxious will make your stomach feel worse. But doing meditations and relaxing like this will really help. Bea Lopez07 Hey Bea- if you can, listen to a speaker, Ben Warren, he explains a lot in detail about IBS. Organic yogurt is soothing to the stomach, just saying. It's hard to find something to eat when your stomach hurts.I've had several doctors the good ones in researchers online say gluten is bad for you it blocks up your system. Inflammation is causing your pain which is due to the food choices you are making. Check him out, knowledge is power. Good luck to you 🤗peace☮️

Sometimes… the pain feels like I’m going to die. My IBS is so severe, that I’m afraid to eat, drink and even move. This was very soothing. I lit a candle, palo santo incence and faced east, on my giant meditation cushion. I made the mammoth effort to rise early (06:30) and ensure I don’t just sleep, trying to escape this hideous condition. I’m blessed to live in a beautiful city, where, today is perfect… balmy morning and fresh air is wafting through my apartment. Time for breakfast. Let’s hope we can all heal from this… I know , I can’t take much more.

I have been diagnosed with IBS a year ago. Have been going through intense stress after the loss of my father and marriage - all of which has caused gut issues.
During flare-ups, I get horrible stomach aches and nothing helps, I just cry in pain. No doctor could offer me help.

A year and a half ago i had the worst pain I have ever explericed in my life. It was in my stomach, and I don't know what it was. But I was in pain for days. I couldn't sit still, I threw up often purely from pain. But this video actually helped for a while. It stopped me from shaking and clamping up, and made me relax. Nothing else had made me do that. Incredible.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have found this video. I was just diagnosed with IBS in December 2020 along with a hiatal hernia. I am a 25 year old male. Everything started for me a month prior to being diagnosed. I thought I was dying, at least that's what IBS made me feel like.
I have been watching this video every single day 5 to 10 times a day to keep myself in control. My anxiety is just absolutely awful and extreme - now I can make it go away just a few minutes into this video every single time. However, I watch it all the way through so that I get the full effect.

I clicked on this video on a desperate whim during a bout of intense stomach pain and discomfort. I really didn't expect much to come out of it. Thank you so much for a really helpful meditation. I had radiotherapy to the pelvic area 12 years ago, and have been left with complications, food intolerances and pain. The IBS pain is worse every time I worry or feel fear. Just recently, those two feelings have been triggered by an unpleasant event. I found this video by chance and the first time I tried it, the pain and tense stomach had gone by the time I’d finished, and I was so relaxed, I was ready for sleep! The relaxation allowed release of gas and the relief from pain lasted six hours. That’s better than prescription meds, which I don’t take because I got side effects. I’m now practising each day when I remember.
Thank you for a simple, non judgemental, down to earth meditation without music so I can concentrate on your soothing voice. It’s really helped - it should be handed out on the NHS for all sufferers ! Bless you.

I'm sorry to hear you've been in so much pain. It can be so difficult to know what to do to relieve it. But we know that stress can increase the flare-ups. So guided meditation is one way of bringing your body and mind into deep rest.

Often, when I wake during the night with stomach pains, I recall your breathing techniques and then drift off to sleep again. I’ve also today found another of the tapes on reducing anxiety. Wow. As I’m doing my own research on my IBS condition I’ve stopped eating red meat, diary and cut down my caffeine (which was only my gym pre workout); I’ve found lots of relief with these things. I always ignored the therapy recommendations as I came across them. But, was just having a flare up and sat down, found this and tried it. I’ll be coming back to this, because I feel much better now. Thanks. Sounds corny, but those of us who know, can empathize with how happy you are when you find relief to this condition.

I was diagnosed with IBS in 2008 after 8 years of pain and torment the ER doctor did exploratory surgery and found a carcinoid tumor in my small intestine. It was stage 3 at that time. I’m still living with it in 2023. If you have any doubt about your IBS diagnosis, get a second opinion. I wish I had.

Wow. After listening to this, I was so relaxed I was able to go to the bathroom probably the most relaxed ever. I suffer from gas pains often and when I feel pain, I start to shake and get very cold. Going to the bathroom can be very painful for my lower abdomen. Thank you so much for the meditation.

Have struggled with IBS on and off through decades. Recently my doctor prescribed fenofibrate to lower my triglycerides. BIG MISTAKE! After 4 doses over 4 days I was in incredible pain and vomiting. Needless to say, we stopped the fenofibrate. This meditation ( and a couple of others) helped tremendously.

it's nice to hear such a comforting voice telling me to do what I am able. idk if I have IBS but whatever it is it gets bad. remember to drink a lot of fluids everyone. Also, I stood in the shower with this playing when I was able to get up and the hot water hitting my stomach helped a LOT. hopefully that helps someone too

This year after COVID in March, I started having diarrhoea since June, colonoscopy, ct scan, blood tests are all normal. Weight loss, abdominal pain, growling stomach, I faced it all. Finally I have up and started doing some meditation and hypnosis to slow my digestive system. Felt good now after listening to your video. Hope it helps

@@GenerationCalm I recently consulted a doctor, she saw reports, they were normal and said it's IBS. I had to overcome my brain fog(due to COVID) and stress with the help of a psychiatrist. I started meditating, kept my mind relaxed and enjoyed some tv shows. Now 2 days later I felt some improvement, about 10-15%
The stress and anxiety I had was so severe at that time when it happened, almost a do or die situation but months later it impacted me so much. Now I'm trying to get away from that.!

I have been suffering from stomach related issues since long time. On and off I visit doctor and take medication for my symptoms. Which is healing me temporarily, but by doing this meditation since few days I am feeling relaxation in my stomach area and my mind is also calm. Thank you for making this video.
I am so happy it's helping with your stomach issues. Research has shown that relaxation really does help ease those symptoms. ☺
I am suffering from last 5years
I've been dealing with IBS for 4 years now and about a few weeks ago my symptoms became much worse. I don't know what happened, but everyday since has been a struggle. I'm desperately searching for relief. It seems everything I try fails to help. My mental health is the worst its ever been and I don't know how to go on like this. I thank you for this video. Its given me some peace after a long and painful day.
I'm sorry to hear of your struggles with IBS. It really is very debilitating. And of course, it seems so interconnected with mental health. If you're stressed it messes with your digestion. And if your digestion plays up ... then it makes you stressed out. No-one really has the answer to IBS yet, but we know for sure that relaxation can help ease the symptoms. So I'm glad you found this meditation.

Thank u so so much, you've helped me so many times. As a 15 year old who got it after a traumatic time and has a low pain tolerance its really hard to deal with sometimes. But this video has helped me with how my breathing helps to make it less sometimes. Thank you from me and so many other people

@@GenerationCalm Thank you so very much for responding. I have a very active digestive system which never wants to settle! Lots of gurgling and growlings, up and down gas, bloating, acid and upset tummy at times which is unpredictable. I would love for my tummy to feel calm and settled 🤞

I was injured during my service time and developed peritonitis and had a resection. 35 years later I still get "shivers" and cramps. These videos and especially this one work for me and keeps me off medicine.

Thank you. Yes, regular meditation will help with stress relief but IBS meditation will help ease the symptoms too. It's amazing how the mind and body work together.

I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which lately manifests itself as abdominal pain. This meditation is an excellent way to relieve pain during the exercise, but also teaches me how important it is to allow the pain to be, not to fight, fear or hate it. Thank you for sharing.
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is one of those frustrating hidden illnesses but is so debilitating. I'm really pleased you're finding ways to relieve the pain and honored that this meditation is one of them.

I've always been iffy on meditation to be honest, I have ADD so it's really hard for me to pay attention. But this, this omg it helped my IBS pain so bad. I'm used to sitting on the toilet almost crying til the pain passes. But this actually helped me so so much, I felt better much quicker than I usually do
I'm sorry you have been in so much pain. IBS can be so hard to control, not knowing when the pain will pass. So I'm glad you found some comfort in this meditation. Although I call them meditations, they're really just my own take on a relaxation exercise somewhere between hypnosis and guided meditation. Maybe it's something you can come back to if you have another flare-up. It's always good to have a choice of tools to try.
