    I have not sleep well since I quit drinking alcohol and taking anxiety pills.... I think this actually helped me get a bit of sleep... The ocean sound is key

      I know this was written over a year ago, but I also stopped taking anxiety meds, and it's been over 3 months, and I still wake up throughout the night I found this meditation a while back and it is seriously the only thing that will get me back to sleep.

      I feel you man. I’ve been struggling on like 1-3 hrs of sleep a night since tapering off methadone. But these yoga nidras help to get me off to a nap. 62 days off methadone; hope you’re still doing well and on the journey❤

    This is so good for those mornings when I wake up a couple of hours before my alarm. Normally I'd never get back to sleep and just have to get up but even if I don't fall asleep listening to this the rest is real

    The first few times I tried this I was asleep in less than 10 minutes. Last night (@ 3am) I was able too go deeper... Had some awesome dreams and woke up energized and with a great attitude! I'm 67 and really understand the value of a good night's sleep. You have greatly improved my quality of life. I can't thank you enough!

    I’m very glad I found this and so grateful you made it! I love the quiet tone of your voice and the interesting way you set up the yoga nidra, not just starting randomly (I always felt) at the right hand thumb. It was 7 am when I found it and it helped me relax after a night of horrible insomnia. Tonight I’m going to listen again and every night when I feel like this. 🙏 thank you

    Complete this one this morning! Didn’t have the greatest sleep last night so this morning when my daughter had her first nap I started this one. I fell asleep downstairs about 15 or so minutes in but only had a quick deep sleep and then back to conscious awareness for the rest but it felt very restful. :)

    Somehow I had a dream up midway during this practice. Sometimes I fall asleep during these but in the dream I was standing in the kitchen and I could hear the wave splashing through my headphones and some part of me knew I was in the middle of a practice.

    This really helps me sleep, I’ve tried the longer ones and there is something about this one that works however after an hour I wake up as it goes onto another one or repeats and then the talking at the beginning wakes me up. Is there any chance of having this one continue with the white noise at the end for much longer like a good few hours. It’s the only thing I’ve found helps me sleep and reduces my anxiety

    I was quite sleepy by the end, but I was suddenly awakened by the loud advertisement when the video ended. Could you remove the ad, please? I really liked this yoga nidra and I have listened this twice now. ❤

      It was probably automatic replay and the next video with the ad, even though this nidra was the last one in my playlist. I didn't see any ad in the end as I checked now. So it was probably the TH-cam app's fault. I put the automatic replay off.

    I went out almost immediately. Truth be told, I hadn't slept well the night before so most likely I would have fallen asleep quickly anyway, but I'm definitely going to keep this in my favorites to use next time I have trouble.     The last week or so this yoga nidra has ended and a loud advert plays and wakes me up. I have always had 2 adverts beforehand but the one afterwards is really problematic. I don’t know if this is something you can change within TH-cam? I love your yoga nidras.

    Thank you Ally for such a great sleep tool. I love the simplicity of Of an ocean background. The cadence of your voice is soothing.
    I was listening to this this morning to hear the whole thing. At the end, an ad came on really loud.
    How does one stop this?

    Question:. How can I play just this video, without TH-cam automatically going to something with loud music and waking me up ??

      At the top of the screen if on a mobile is a circle toggle bar. Move it to auto play off. Also see top right hand corner there are 3 vertical dots. Press this and loop video and it will play over (if you want that long!)
