    I just bought a 2018 V6 RS this weekend. I rolled off of the lot with 37 miles on Saturday afternoon. By Monday afternoon, I had 350 miles. No trips, I was just finding reasons to drive this beauty. Mine is black.

      Haha I know how that is - any “reason” to go for a drive is good enough!

      Thursday evening, I have 604 miles. I love this car! I can't help myself! Hold on! I've got to go to pick up some coffee, for two weeks from now. Gotta go! :}

    After watching this review I went to the dealership and did a test drive. Needless to say I went home with the Camaro that night! I got the black on black with the tinted windows and it looks sick..
    I was really shocked with the power this V6 puts out..

      Geoffrey Tipton great cars my friend has a 2017 rs at it feels almost as fast as my challenger rt and the v6 sounds incredible, best v6 option on the market 👍

      John Jones 345 the track mode the 2019 v8 Camaro crackles like crazy and it pops. I got to drive it. It’s a 9speed and honestly I don’t think I wanna go back lmaoo. It pinned me back in my seat lol. Now just imagine the ZL1 with a 0-60 just in 3.2 seconds.

    Just got a 2023 Camaro v6 in C8 Rapid Blue. The car is way cooler than I previously thought. The V6 exhaust sound is killer. I had a Z28 Camaro in the mid-90’s. The V6 sounds better and is faster, but I should expect that since the GM engineers did a great job. (RIP Camaro 2024)

    I gotta 2017 Chevrolet Camaro RS in Nightfall Gray Metallic color. I got the Double Bar 5 spoke rims! With the sunroof feature! AND I LOVE IT! It is so nimble, quick and light on its feet. They’re affordable, if YOU want one save money, grow your wealth and get one! Whether it be the 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder (RS/V6), or the Big V8 (Camaro SS 455 hp & Camaro ZL1 650 hp) they are all Great cars whatever YOUR preference is!

    So you’re telling me that a Camaro has no room in the backseat and poor visibility🤣🤣 I used to believe all these reviews about the visibility and then I drove one and didn’t have any issues whatsoever, it was my first time driving in a sports car and didn’t have a single issue with visibility, if you know how to look out your window or use the rearview mirrors then you’ll be fine

    Just came across this. Great review. We have a 2021 RS Wild Cherry V6. Summer use only for us and enough room for the 2 of us and 2 Border Collies in the back seat. Makes the 2 hour drive to our weekend getaway so much more fun. We now pretty much always take the winding back roads as the car handles so well.

    GM is doing good! I test drove a 5th generation with a 6-speed manual and really enjoyed the car. The motor would out-right scream! I wish that GM could have had a higher revving 3.6l that would do something like 7.5 to 8k!

    Ok, i going to give you your credit, for by far the hands down best review of this 6 gen camaro. There was nothing about this review i did not like, nothing, infact, i couldn't, do a good a job as you. I, m hunting the market for a 16 camaro rs v6. My brother drives a 17 rs v6 , same package as the one in the video. I, m sold. Thank you. The visibility is not, a deal breaker for this car, and you stated that you can live with it. Good damn job. I,ve now subscribed so i will be looking for more content, keep them coming.

    I recently upgraded from a Sentra 2013 (which was a piece of crap) to a 2016 Camaro 1LT and I am loving it. I am looking to get a v8 in the future, but for now. I am definitely having fun driving my camaro. I'm not a big guy so I'm comfortable in the camaro. I test drove the challenger 2015 sxt and a 2016 charger sxt before I made up my mind on getting the camaro. I did like both, but the camaro just felt fun to drive and had everything I was looking for in a car for a basic trim model car. My dream also was to always own a camaro because I just loved the way they looked. Great review!

    • @TheTestDrive
      @TheTestDrive  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Alan Romero LOL the Sentra might not be the most fun but they are supposed to be pretty good on gas! I agree with your thoughts on the Camaro--congrats on the purchase--it was a fun car to drive and is definitely my favorite V6 in this class. 335hp naturally aspirated is really good. And you get a lot for the money. Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed the video 👍

      @@TheTestDrive If it was a 2LT, it would have programmable entry/exit setting in seat memory, where it can move all the way back... Also, would have had blind-spot monitors (should be standard) and heated/cooled leather seats, bigger screens, HUD, dual zone climate ctl... (sure I'm leaving something out)

      Erik Zakharyan I hope so too. I’m not particularly impressed with the turbo four that’s offered and this V6 sounds really good.

    • @NBASFAN
      @NBASFAN 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      But if they want to keep the V6 for another generation, they probably have to look into turbos.
      Keep in mind Ford just discontinued their V6 Mustangs and put stick with the turbo 4.
      Here's the thing though. Turbo 4 makes a lot of good performance numbers and the low end torque makes city driving and overtaking a blast.
      The V6 you just have to rev it a bit harder and sometimes it's annoying for just a takeover.
      But the sound of V6 beats turbo 4s any day.

    It looks like a second faster than what everyone is posting. Like they dont know that you start counting at ZERO, not One. But funny thing. The 4 banger is the same speed. Maybe even faster.
    That Launch is silly because its actually faster from 0-60 then from a rolling 5 MPH start.

    I raced a tuned v6 with CAI and exhaust in my 2008 mustang gt with cai bigger throttle body and exhaust and from a roll it was a great race but from a dig it doesn’t get off the line very well was 3 car links ahead at the quarter mile mark in the 40 rolls would only win by a fender

      Jonathan Downey for sure I mean a V8 Camaro is sick (and not crazy expensive for the amount of power) - but I’m impressed at how good the V6 is for what it is. Much better than the Challenger and Mustang V6 in my opinion.

      I have the SS version and it is heads above more powerful but I would almost buy the v-6 for that motor alone. Hard to find a high revving v6 that sounds like that. I wouldn't be surprised to see a twin turbo version of the 3.6l in a mid engine corvette soon...

      I bet it's awesome in a manual. I think a manual 4-cyl might be more fun to drive than an automatic V6, and agreed that the RS package looks so good for very little money

    Test drove the '18 Camaro V6 automatic. Didn't like it has laggy acceleration. The Ecoboost Mustang was quick off the line as you step on the gas. This could be due to the Ecoboost Mustang's having greater lower end torque than the Camaro.

    Already had a Camaro, got a 2019 Hyundai Veloster 2.0, not near the horsepower of this but it weighs just 2,800 lbs, and is WAY more fun to drive. Also it has all the lane assist features, apple car play, all 3 driving modes too etc. And it was only 15k, way less than this which was over 24k. Doesn't hold it's value as much as this, but you see Camaro's everywhere, they had a grey one there with black wheels, was nice. But I'm glad I picked the Veloster as it's FWD, more practical, and gets up to 36 mpg. Also I'm not looking to measure my d%$k, it's just fine as it is. Though I do love the look of the Camaro, I just don't NEED it. I'm 45 anyway lol.

    • @amuroray88
      @amuroray88 ปีที่แล้ว

      Muscle cars are only fun with V8s. The six cylinders are pointless, and the 4 cylinders, while tunable, will still handle much worse than lighter Asian/European tuners. For under 40k, a WRX is the best performance you can buy. The Hyundai N series is also good, but the motors are junk
