Borla sounded the best. And the reason for buying a V6 Camaro comes down to cost. The 6th generation Camaro by far with 335 horsepower and You Tubers posting 0 to 60 times at 4.9 seconds is pretty quick for car costing $30,000 vs $45,000 for an SS. Yes, the V8 sounds 👌 awesome but more to insure- premium fuel, 0 to 60 at 4.1 and i can afford the SS but i find the V6 makes more Financial sense.
Yes dude I just got a 2020 v6 and it was 29 otd and an ss was gonna run me 46 otd the v6 has enough power for everyday driving. And like you said I can afford it but for that much cheaper it makes more sense
That last one sounded sick. It's cool to hear the difference in how the transmissions shift in the newer ones. Way faster and you get a nice pop from, the shift
V6 is perfect for me :) Ofc the V8 sounds a little bit more powerful but its enough...fuck the haters. I have a Chevy V6 and i am so happy with it Its my Comrade
Dear young people don’t feel bad for having a V6 just cause some old fart doesn’t like the sound I made that mistake in High school I bought a 2011 SS and got so many tickets that I now pay 437$ a month on insurance for my v6 Camaro 😂🤦🏾♂️
I think the Magnaflow Magnapacks sounded the best overall. The deepness and tone was of a V8 compared to all others. The exhaust didn’t have the high pitch the others still had. The Borla looked the best and is definitely second, the price is way higher than the Magnaflows though.
Agree. When I finally sold my 95 Z28, I couldn't afford to get a new 2011 V8, so I got the V6. Totally fine since it's my daily driver and honestly, I was just stoked to be buying my first NEW car. However, I'm still chasing that V8 sound. It's what I miss the most about my old teal girl - she'd purr you to sleep. Out of these, I think the Magnaflow Magnapacks sound the closest too.
I’m stating the fact that someone thinks a non modded rs is faster then a ss and it’s clearly not and they haven’t been in a modded one to see how much more potential the ss has
I'm as old school as they come and even I realize that today's small displacement engines make as much if not more power than the old school carbed small block V8's. Back in 74, my father had an Olds Cutlass with a 350V8 and a 4 barrel carb, it was factory rated at a measly 180 hp! The inline 6 in my Chevy Trailblazer is 100 cubic inches smaller and makes 100 more hp power than that old V8 did. Technology has come a long way when tiny 4 bangers with a turbo make close to 400hp stock. Back in the day you had to spend a lot of money and do lots of work to a V8 to get 400 reliable hp out of it. Now we have monster LS v8's that can make over 1000hp on a single turbo.
Glad I own a 2SS with a V8. Got the Flowmaster American Thunder on it and it sounds beastmode. Having said that though, all the people talking shit about the v6's owe them for our v8's. GM and Ford sell about 20 or more v6 models to every 1 v8 sold. Without people buying the v6, we wouldn't have our v8 models. We may not even get a 7th Gen Camaro as it is and the Mustang 4 cylinder EcoBoost is outselling the v8s by leap's and bounds. Argue all you want, but us V8 sports/muscle car crowds are just a "niche" group that the manufacturers are not catering specifically for and the v8 is just a minuscule fraction in the modern automotive world and is a dying engine outside of heavy duty pickups and diesels.
Price difference is a factor. I dislike people that tell me why did you get the v6 should of gotten the SS. Then I reply with why get the SS I should get the ZL1 fuck it Ill just buy a DEMON. If you had a v6 and a V8 at the same price you think people would buy the v6?
But the V8 also serves its purpose as laying down a foundation for liking Camaros. Its a marketing tactic, know what I mean? Just because they don't sell as well, doesn't mean they're not playing a role in the brand "Chevrolet". That's one of the reasons why car manufacturers race, too. That's why Lexus made the LFA, a whole generation of kids saw that and was like, "Yo, Lexus is legit!" So they go and buy an IS250 because they're LFA DNA in there, somewhere.
V6 has always been the better option. The sound. The gas mileage the comfort. Ive riden in a zl1 on track mode and HELL NO. Same for the hellcat and other high powered higher trim vehicles. So if i had the decision im choosing the LT option willingly
Something about an X-Pipe that sounds really great. The X-Pipe and Borla Ataks are a great combination. I have a 2015 Camaro RS with a cold air intake and factory converters with two Chevrolet Performance mufflers that have a nice deep exhaust tone (truly satisfied with those mufflers too) Would love to add an X-Pipe to deepen that exhaust tone even more. Awesome videos that you post, love the different setups !
I think the exhaust depends on how noisy you wanted. It all sounded good but to hear from the inside going down the highway at acceleration makes a difference versus hearing it outside
On my 18’ Camaro LT RS V6 I have a muffler delete, resonator delete with X pipe, secondary cat delete, quad tips and all pipes are 3 inch did it yesterday sounds amazing🔥
all of these sound too raspy. and before someone goes hating on me, I got a v6 camaro. I want to see someone put some vibrant mufflers on a 5th gen. I think that would give it some good sound and remove the rasp.
Love my V-6 but don’t like any of the sounds showcased here, i’ll stick with the stock set up for now, has a nice sound In the cabin when accelerating.

I have bbk long tube headers on my 2010. It had some exhaust work done before I got it from the cats back. I added headers and single high flow cats. Soiled motor mounts, cold air intake and throttle body spacer. Runs great just put 5000 miles on the new Jasper rebuilt engine.
I liked the convertible and the Borla. Borla definitely looked the best. I have a 2016 Colorado with this engine. I did the Flowmastr Flow Fx cat back exhaust on my truck. Sounds very much like the white Camaro with the Flow Fx mufflers. Would be cool to true dual my truck. Too bad you are so far away.
I've came across paradox mufflers. They actually have a tuning fork contraption inside to reduce or eliminate drone. Only one video on TH-cam installed on a v6 camaro.
I just bought a 2012 Chevy Camaro 1LT convertable V6 I have the factory exhaust on it, If i'm right. What do you think about putting glass packs on it ??
Can a LS 2015 v6 3.6 engine fit inside of a LS 2011 Chevy Camaro v6 3.6 engine. My engine in my 2011 blew out just wondering will the 2015 fit inside my car
Im seeing a lot of people say it’s better to strait pipe it. I’m hoping someone answers with a firm answer because I’m getting a 2010 V6 in afew days 😂

These niggas should worry about themselves instead of making fun of others for having a v6

The Borla mufflers/tips on that last Camaro....sounded the best and looked even better, no contest!

Hating on camaro v6 like they didn’t click on the video to hear what they sounded like 🤣

He just admitted to raising insurance rates for current v8 owners, now V6ers are next
I'm 24 and just bought a 2016 rs, I don't need the tickets either lol so a v6 is better till I'm 25 plus

These v6 go hard IV seen them beat v8ss and it's gas mileage is better I'll take the RS all day
😂you haven’t been in a modded ss then 🤡
Thicc SS you shouldn’t have to mod a v8 to beat a v6 is what he’s saying lmao 🤡🤡

Borla is the only way to go with a V6. Sounds so good & people question it if its a 6 or 8. I know i did at 1st.
💯 ive had ppl ask me that too

The two last ones were best sounding.
The Borla sounds the best.
I always thought the dodge 2.7/3.5 V6’s sounded pretty decent with an exhaust too, better then their 3.6 pentastar counterpart.
3.5 for sure but the 2.7 was junk dog of an engine
