Just finished removing oem bushing with 2 jaw puller. Very good idea. The bracket was a little tougher.

Nice job mate. Totally worth doing the 2 16mm back bolts off 1st on this to remove the tension from the 2 13mm bolts at the front. Reduces the chances of shearing I reckon. That 3 legged gadget I have and I think its labelled a "Transmisison puller"! So I am going to use that on the wishbones to see it that can get the bushes out! Result!

I sheared both of the 13mm bolts and I'm on day 3 now on figuring how the get the mount off.... The bolts are fully corroded to the mount. :(

@@CarChris82 Propably yes, cause the mount itself is not moving anywhere with the two 16mm's out. Just don't know if there is even room for the drill in there... :/

Worth doing mate as these cars are getting older some may never of been replaced,definitely lucky with the bolts mate 👍

Please make a vid how to cam belt , w pump, Tensioner-roller etc on BAM 1.8 cause NO vid on TH-cam that’s clearly show how to in DETAIL either the easy way … out in 😩😷

Hi mate thanks for the vid, where did you get the torque settings from for the dogbone bolts? The Bentley manual doesn’t tell you to tighten an extra 90 degrees for some reason!

Cheers mate the torque setting are on many vag forms and vag specific info 👍

You was lucky with the 13mm 1 of mine snapped ended up having to gring the old dog bone to pieces 😁
