I really appreciate when people can do comparisons like this without name calling and anger( I got over that crap a long time ago, its about "Rodding" improving your rig! Keep up the good work. There used to be sponser biased dyno tests and such , I remember one time probably close to $1000 worth of aftermarket goodies on a camaro, sure it did a lot better headers, low restriction mufflers, jerked the stopped up convertor off, what they didn't do was compare it with a good tune with factory spec parts, if you sat down and analyzed the mods you could see for the benefit some were just gilding the lily. There has to be one thing usually that will give you the most benefit,I went through that with a Dodge Dakota CAI, low restriction muffler, fill every thing with synthetic, did it help? Not that I could see, the crappy muffler rotted off finally, didn't seem to make a bit of difference from the stock , which I reinstalled, took the foam element out of the CAI throw it away and put a paper Element back in , no performance loss, finally went back more or less to standard lube after the synthetic eat the seal out of my differential( cost $500 to fix). So maybe a person needs a better base to start with, all I did was waste money. The truck now has 114K and runs as good as it did new( reading the reports I am surprised the V6 is still running, so my Mantra is "Caveat emptor" and God bless you Guys if nothing else you have shown how good new trucks are.

Then you have a 9.75. I had a 2008 5.4 with the 9.75, but I believe they have now downgraded some F150's to have the super 8.8? I think a fair comparison would be the 6.0 LS these are dang good engines, our current company ride has 360K miles and is still running strong( I am not a Chevy man, I love the LS though that is one great engine.
Now for the brass tacks ,I want to run regular to save a dollar a gallon and which mods gave the most bang for the buck? I don't like racket and if I ever get a new truck it will probably be a Ford 5.0 or an EV believe it or not, that being said if any of the newer big three come under my scrutiny with a super deal that will probably be the truck hauling my carcass around.

Which is pretty hilarious considering that the Coyote has .3L less displacement. If GM could figure out how to make a DOHC V8 that isn't complete garbage, then they might stand a fighting chance.
