Hey Doc! Try alittle machine oil on your impact driver collet. It helps the bits go in and out much easier. Ive had a couple hang up and a dab of oil works! Love your videos! Ive been building for 36 years and enjoy seeing your projects. KB from NC

I love it! Amazing how often there's a little "trick" that avoids totally destroying the tool.
(Or in the case of a woman I helped while on the road a couple of months ago... avoided literally destroying the ignition on her truck: she needed to replace the key cylinder and was whacking on it... long story for another day ;) )
Dr Decks. Do you have any recommendations for flashing a ledger to brick veneer? Would gtape adhere and work? Could I come up the brick only an inch to keep the gtape hidden below the deck surface?

putting the drill, without battery, out in the cold or freezer for a couple hours did the trick that six other suggestions did not....
