- The shuttle bus conversion continues and my kitchen is finally done! Now I can finally start moving things back in and it won’t be long before I will once again have a cozy home.

Really nice job! I like your vision and plans for style/color. The bus seems so spacious compaired to the van, and much lighter. I like the contrasting black cabinets and walnut counter. Isn't it fun making plans and moving ahead?! Woohoo!

You're a woman after my own heart... I have black and wood furniture, and I think your kitchen is gorgeous! I can't wait to see your progress. Decorating is so much fun. As far as your windows and privacy, could you install faux wood window blinds and add sheer curtains? Then, in the winter, you could slip reflectix over the blinds at night for added warmth? This combination would give you multiple options for the light you bring in and as much (or little) privacy as you need. Enjoy! Have fun with your project each step of the way.❤

Adore all those large windows, but my concern would be at night. When it gets dark outside and you turn on the lights, i think you may need some privacy. Anyhow, I am sure you have it all figured out. I can't wait to see how you decorate your new home, I know it will be very nice. 😊

Great question Nadine! They stayed shut when I drove the bus back to my friend’s house, but the cupboards were empty. Once full I’ll have a better idea of whether or not I’ll need latches or magnets on them.
Hi Zia…i know you have many more and much bigger windows but I just saw a video where someone was inexpensively making window shades for her Camper Van….you might take a look maybe to get some ideas…it was Ruth Aisling. DIY on my Camper van…. She’s in Scotland…just a thought it might help
