- There’s good news and bad news on the makeover of my van Luna! A couple of issues caused more delays…have I done enough to finally do a reveal?
Here’s a list of products, all prices in Canadian dollars…

I love the "distressed white" look! I think the aqua of the counter looks lovely and would not change a thing. It looks very lovely as it is and you did a wonderful job.
I hope you and Charlie are happy there. I would love for you to get an apartment too and have a place for some flowers and plants. Take care!

I love the new fabric. Its whimsical and complements the lighter cabinet finishes. Bead board is lovely as well. Great work . Love how you made it you.

Well Zia, your intuition was right! The cabinets do look better painted white! I especially like how you pulled the copper accent throughout the back with the copper pulls on the door and drawers. I also really like the beadboard applique on the fridge and I think it would look good on all of the recessed door and drawer panels. It certainly would give it the "cottage" look literally. The quarter round trim on the edges of the floor might be a good idea to help keep it clean. I'm glad that you followed your ideas and that you are so happy with the results! Congrats!

Looks beautiful Zia! Love, love, love the copper handles. Classy cottage look. And the white sure does brighten the space up. I like the blue counter top as well but it has to work for YOU. So happy you are Over the Moon because that's all that matters! 😄♥️

I love the duvet folded at the foot of bed. It really ties it in with the curtains and shams.
I think it would look nice to put the beadboard inside the door frames of cabinets.
I think you can use get a piece of quarter round and paint it same shade of flooring and wood look nice. I wouldn’t bother having to put it all around and having to bevel the corners.

As for the bead board, yes, I think putting it I. A couple other spots makes sense and I love the idea for the counter top. Such fun! Charlie is over all the renos I see 😂❤.
I agree, the beadboard needs to be tied in to other areas and I’m hoping to do that while housesitting next week. I’m thinking the new counter top colour will make a huge difference to the look of the van. Poor Charlie, he didn’t know what to make of all the upheaval and he wasn’t exactly camera ready! Time for a visit to the groomer. 🐶

I love your little cottage on wheels! Seeing the wood grain through the paint is fabulous -- looks like a very elaborate antiquing technique. And I love the copper handles. And your fabric. And .. everything! Sorry to hear about your tooth. UGH! I hope the extraction wasn't too too bad.

Wow Zia it all looks so stylish well done! I've always loved Turquoise and Green colours, so restful. You probably never finish making changes in a "little" van, it's always developing I suppose. Love the new look. Just a thought, the two bedroom side windows I would select plain fabric, picking a mid to light colour from the main patterned fabric. This would help to compliment your chosen pattern fabric and look balanced and not too heavy/busy with the main curtain fabric.
Great idea and I had thought about looking for a complimentary fabric, maybe a subtle tone in tone pinstripe which would also go with the beadboard.

It looks so fresh and inviting….. you did a great job! The bead board might look good in a few other eye level spot to tie it altogether. The counter tops 🤔🤔🤔… it might look different on camera but it doesn’t look too bright from my perspective…but if you think it should be changed you should do it but don’t make it too dark…it’s what brightens everything up against the white. A home, no matter how big, should wrap you up in comfy coziness 😊

Hi from Australia. I love your van. You did a good job, and yes, it is like a little cottage. I agree with you about making your van like a home that lifts your spirt. You mentioned in the Bob Wells intterview that you have a fold up camp chair that you just leave on the floor when you travel as you have nowhere to put it. I put mine under the mattress.

I like the copper handles.
I would put beadboard just on the kitchen insets, that way it ties the fridge into the kitchen.
I think quarter-round on both sides of the floor would be good.
Home Depot might have some short bits they want to get rid of.

I've seen many of these vintage Class B van while looking for a van. So many are pretty ugly inside. It looks like this one started nice and you made it even nicer!

That looks so nice! I do not think the bead board paper would be to busy at all as its one solid color.
Maybe ask adelina about the pocket curtians she bought for her van. I believe that they are cream color and would blend nice. And you can add a couple straps the color of your fabric!
