- During the Battle of Exogol, Rey desperately calls out for assistance from beyond. Her call is then answered by a handful of Jedi, and the namesake of the film ANAKIN SKYWALKER. With Rey's permission, Anakin possesses her physical body in order to finish the fight he should have ended long ago on the second Death Star and end Palpatine's reign once and for all!

@@novafalcon1779 he actually did fulfill the prophecy to bring balance to the force; the jedi just misinterpreted the meaning of "balance". They thought balance meant the end of the sith, but in reality before Anakin there were ~10,000 jedi and 2 sith. After Anakin turned there were a handful of jedi and a handful of sith. So he brought "balance"

That would’ve been a perfect way to give the story some beautiful symmetry. From Lord Vader hearing Anakin Skywalker saying that name holds no meaning to him, to Anakin Skywalker hearing Lord Vader and saying the exact same thing. Beautiful! But Lucas decided to let Rey come into her own which I can’t fault him for.

This is absolutely insane. Loved it when palpatine said lord vader and he got the response of that name no longer has any meaning for me. Anakin will always be my favourite jedi even though he was a bad ass as newly knighted darth vader but he did what he was thought was right in the end by saving his son.

I love this a lot more, mostly because it doesn't make Rey unimportant as it seems like Anakin uses her as a vessel to defeat Palpatine, making her still important to the legacy of the Skywalker Saga. And I appreciate that

It also makes more sense since Rey is a palpatine and since Anakin became a force ghost he wouldn't have access to the dark side.... However him using Rey as a vessel allows him to use his Vader form to use balance and defeat palpatine

I don’t hate Rise of Skywalker as much as other people do, but this, gave me such chills. The parts with Anakin entered and grabbed the lightsaber and all the Jedi using the force to help Anakin defeat Palpatine was absolutely perfect! If this happened in ROS, I would have a heart attack. Well done!

Ben Solo wanted to follow Vader's footsteps but Anakin showing up to Ben and asking him why he killed his own father for.
This was genuinely better than all that disney had to offer
I loved all of it, but the way Anakin's arrival was put together is Golden. I love how Palpatine is all cool and relaxed when seeing all the others and when Anakin arrives he's like "Oh shit!" I would have loved to see it in the movie with Anakin and Rey together finishing off the Emperor.

That topped off with the force theme sent chills down my spine. Why wasn't this the satisfying conclusion to the saga? Episode 9 is my most hated movie and it would have been my favorite only if this happened.

Ben Solo could have passed on his spirit to her when he saved her, so it would be logical for her to become Skywalker. As it is, Rey is just Luke's adopted daughter. Although in the extended version, Luke had a son, Ben, in honor of Kenobi, and Leia has three children, one of whom she named Anakin.

Anakin was the chosen one. He brought balance to the force. It was the Jedi who misunderstood what balance actually is. An equal presence of both light and darkness. He destroyed the Jedi and then destroyed the emperor. At the end of his life there was only one Jedi and one Sith left… the force had been balanced!

No one faces light and darkness as deeply as Anakin.
That's why Anakin Skywalker proved to be a true hero who would bring balance to the Force.

The fact that a very rough looking edit (I mean that in the most endearing way, I’m glad you made, this it’s amazing, I love it, and I mean no actual offense) got more of an emotion out of me than the $200 million or whatever actual ending of the film speaks volumes. This is, how it should have ended. Imagine if Disney did this with there fuck you money. It would have been beautiful.

Only thing that I'd change, is Anakin using a red blade and blue. Using both the dark side and light side of the force together...as the chosen one...to destroy Palpatine.

It may have some flaws with music, some animations are little rough but man, it get the idea across. I like how Vader Mask and breath shows up in second before blowing Palpatine away like representing a Perfect Balance in force within himself - Anakin represent Jedi school, focus and cold calm mind while Vader represent his emotions and streangth he needed to push Palpatine back. Yes precisely! Anakin has always been in conflict with himself. So in my mind, i figured that only by embracing both sides of himself (The jedi Anakin and the sith Vader) could he destroy Palpatine. I actually wrote an entire paper explaining the logistics of what happened in this video. If you are interested I could send you the link.

@ryjek07 YT Yes I believe so. When you really think about it Anakin through his life was constantly at war with himself. But in death, I feel like he finally has a shot at peace. I especially felt that way about him when he appeared as a force ghost at the end of Return of the Jedi. He was happy and he was content in that scene. It was the first time his soul was not a slave to anyone. So yes I believe he achieved a form of balance within himself.
