MAJOR NEWS! I'm thrilled to say that the ANAKIN VS PALPATINE REMAKE is BACK in Production!!! THE RISE OF SKYWALKER - LIOZ'S CUT - The Cut will include: - I reasonable explanation as to how Luke and Leia knew Rey was a Palpatine and why they told her that so later. - Anakin helps Ben Solo come to his senses - with the vision of Han Solo. - The Final Battle - Anakin vs. Palpatine (Anakin with ROTJ outfit). - Anakin healing Rey from dying. - [ Kiss Removed ] - Ben Solo lives. - ENDING - Where everyone celebrates the victory, Ben and the Force Ghosts [Anakin, Luke, and Leia] looking from afar at everyone. Estimated to be released in fall 2024 [taking into consideration that I'm working on this project by myself.] After my whole sound design got deleted I truly felt like I was done with this project for good, especially with my programs barely working. But I kept seeing all the heartwarming messages you guys were commenting on videos and it gave me back the spirit to start again and do this for the large audience who wants a fulfilling ending for this beautiful franchise.
The kiss scene is fine. The only cringe scenes were Maces line about the oppression of the Sith and Anakin’s line about his powers doubling as that was clearly from the Dooku fight Anakin v Dooku. 😂 But I will keep two weather eyes out in 2024.
@@xNightHawk32 well, I had to work with what I had. now with the help of AI and technology, I can make my own dialogue. so I would make sure it won't be as cringe lol
The idea of Anakin finally learn how to heal someone and save their life, through the light side and NOT the dark, would have been so perfect and beautiful.
Almost like he didn't save someone's life through the light side before... As his redemption from the dark side... When he turned on the Emperor... and saved his son's life. Oh wait.
@@macdaddymario Dude, you don't want to understand? It's about the whole force healing/stopping padme from dying kinda stuff. Anakin saved people before in the clone wars etc.. That's a totally different thing.
This ending would have given Anakin so much closure on who he would have become had he not fallen to the Dark Side. It would also have shown Ben who his grandfather truly was behind Vader’s mask.
And then Ben actually gets to live in this one too, to carry that example. This really should be the ending, I mean Ben would have grown up to be even wiser than Luke because both used the Dark Side but Ben actually embraced it but it wasn't for him. He rose above and could kind of fulfill the role as 'anti-Anakin', spending a short part of his life on the Dark Side but then living a hopefully long life as a Jedi.
Always have been and always be Rey will never ever be a chosen one And the fact that they over hyped her Is one of the reasons 7-9 Failed Pushing agendas and political Bs AnakinSkywalkerDarthVader WILL ALWAYS BE THE TRUE CHOSEN ONE even in Death
Oh yes he’s the best and always will be And also Rey Rey looks so cute she looks so lovely & cute & sexy wish I could kiss and makout with her like that
O thank goodness. I never bothered to watch this movie, because I heard they brought back the guy who made TFA. And frankly he's so bad, I figure he actually would go and reuse footage from the other movies instead of trying to make new content.
@@BingusAlfredo they didn't toss anything in the trash, Anakin did bring it into balance but it can be taken back out of balance, balance is never permanent, his spirit even tells Rey to balance the Force like he once had.
@@andrewft31 A life of suffering and sacrifice for what feels like two weeks of balance is indeed shitting all over Anakins legacy. And handing Kylo the ability that Anakin was looking for all his life is just rubbing it in. Episodes 7-9 are not canon🤢
Not to mention a better ending than some scavenger girl with no training (except a few days of swinging Anakin’s lightsaber like a lunatic) defeating a Sith Lord that effortlessly slaughtered Jedi with decades, CENTURIES even, of training. Hell, she doesn’t even get her own lightsaber until the LAST TWO MINUTES of the film; most pointless lightsaber ever.
That's because the fans were the ones this movie was made for. The first Sequel movies followed Star Wars kind of writing. They took risks followed story structures of the original movies. And then this came out which is basically because the fans wanted Rey's parents to be significant.
Honestly, the fact they had ben idolise vader, using his ideology as a conduit of sorts to immerse himself in the dark side, and NEVER have him encounter anakin as a force ghost is a disservice in and of itself.
@@hiltondriver8478 Are they actually going to? I will watch it if they fix their mistakes and release that. This video is how the trilogy shouldve ended.
Honestly, an ending like this would have 100% saved this movie and trilogy. Rey sacrificing herself, spending her life force to pierce into the netherworld of the Force, to call forth Anakin and the other Jedi spirits, Anakin completely destroying Palpatine in a no-contest, one-sided battle, and then Anakin returning Rey to life as he and the other Jedi spirits deem she (and Ben) still yet have much work to do in the corporeal world before they're ready to become one with the Force. Anakin's prophecy is left intact, and Rey is still a pivotal, important character. Everyone wins.
Nah, it wouldn't have saved it. Palpatine should never have come back and the only reason he did was because they fkn offed Snoke in the second one. But to be honest, it already didn't make sense from the start because Luke already saved the universe from the Empire in the original trilogy. Why the fuck are we back to Empire vs Rebels again as if the original trilogy never happened? The universe was saved. We were fucking done. Why are we back where we started? And why did they make Luke so pathetic?
If this were the actual ending, I’m 100 percent sure that all the people in the theaters would have cheered so loudly that the entire buildings would have collapsed. 👏
I agree, kinda dumb why no Jedi or anyone could teach Anakin force healing, but Rey knew. Although he wouldn’t have needed it anyways with Padme, cause she only lost the will to live due to him going to the dark side.
The way how Ahsoka, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan smiled and nodded to Anakin at the end when he healed Rey. Beautiful! And using a different theme at the end! Just perfect!
This ending makes perfect sense revolving around the prophecy. Anakins absence throughout the sequel trilogy felt extreamly avoident on disneys part as his force ghost should of been an essential character, especially towards kylo ren.
In fact, given that Luke is trying to rebuild the Order from scratch, you'd think he'd be getting a hand from the other Force Ghosts - imparting wisdom to his students in the same way that the Order used to use Holocrons. How Kylo never made contact with Anakin's redeemed ghost is beyond me. It seems like a massive plot hole.
@@grailchaser it was disney trying incredibly hard to avoid anything to do with the prequels, you get that point hit hard with that nonesense han solo seen in rise of skywalker, anyone with common sense would of known the most appropriate entity to appear to him at the moment would of been anakin.
@@electrictroy2010 wrong. George Lucas already told us that balance of the force only means no evil. Balance isn't a balance between good and evil, it's the absence of evil. George Lucas said this and if you don't like it there's nothing you can do.
@@electrictroy2010 except that's not the balance. As George Lucas has said balance was brought by Anakin when he killed palpatine in return of the Jedi so balance is not the killing of the Jedi it is the killing of the sith

That was the scene that people went to the cinema to watch. The return of Skywalker.... the REAL one. This scene alone may have saved starwars for many fans.
Probably would. In KOTOR I ran through a sith tomb and there was a ghost you encounter that could physically harm you. I forget the name because I killed it Lol for darkside points. So this video rendition isn’t out of question if a force presence can do that.

Or trilogy. Again not saying they couldn’t have been good. But by god did Disney mess the sequels up good. Mean just two little edits and none of this back lash would have happened.
I am torn between Anikin saying “I’m the most powerful Jedi ever” and “I am the chosen one”. Either way I have watched this 100 times over the last few days and absolutely love it. Thank you for this
Truth is Disney freaking sucks. Take away their money and special effects teams and their new movies are absolute garbage. Their writing teams only goal is to push their agendas and that’s it. That’s the crappiest part of them buying up all franchises… they do it just to ruin them.
This is a way better ending then the actual ending. The Skywalker and Solo line still lives on. And Anakin ultimately fulfilled his destiny. Killing Palpatine was his fight and victory. It will always be. When he said, “ I am the most powerful Jedi ever!” I got chills. How it should have ended. Wouldn’t have fixed everything wrong with sequels, but least it would had a better conclusion.
I still find it crazy how the main character of Star Wars never shows up as a force ghost and is barely mentioned throughout the sequel trilogy. We get a couple short lines from him at the end.
Frr and in one movie, Disney had the description to say that Anakin and Palme fall in love, but it felt rushed and plus we barley got scenes of them together. It’s so confusing and stupid lol
@@CalebBerman , so called "God" is actually the narcissist archangel Yaldabaoth who stole an ability to create world, created the bubble known as the Universe and plays with us as his toys to worship him, that's why the evil exists and why he behaves so weird in the bible. The actual God, the father God, known as Lucifer, is now trying to help us to get out of the Yaldabaoth's jail, that's why fake god prohibits suicide. Also Darth Vader or I dunno, we're in the Star Wars comment section.
Fun fact this scene was actually considered for the movie, had this been done it would have single handedly redeemed the entire sequel trilogy for me. Because anakin coming back and defeating palpatine would have made much more sense for multiple reasons. 1. He is the chosen one and he really should have been the one to end palpatine once and for all. Not some girl who was a Jedi for like a year at this point, who had barely any training. 2. The previous 6 films showed that anakin and his children were the main characters to save the galaxy and bring balance to the force. So having anakin come back would have kept that prophecy and the established plot. Edit: Don’t go down to the replies it’s a war zone.
Nah although this is better bringing Palpatine back was stupid. We definitely should have seen Anakin confront Ben but Palpatine shouldnt have been the main villain again
Anakin Skywalker is the true and only Chosen One. Rey is written so badly that Finn overshot her in terms of character development in Episode 7 to the point that people thought HE might be the Skywalker(which I honestly wouldn’t have minded, not gonna lie). Then JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson just make her so perfect that she nails EVERYTHING on her first try INCLUDING fighting with a lightsaber. 🙄 Why the heck did she even NEED to go to Luke for training? He probably could’ve taken lessons from her, what with how perfect and god-like she was. Even Anakin was not that perfect. She is effectively what we in fandom call a Mary-Sue.
Thank you for just putting a smile on the face of thousands with the sheer IDEA of this ending. I really wish they had done all the movies justice like this ending does. Thank you bro.
It wouldn’t have redeemed what they did to the entire story of the OT by making all the heroes failures but it could have at least wrapped up the story in a more satisfying way that was true to what came before.
I feel like letting Finn die in the second movie would’ve redeemed it. He was being set up for the PERFECT heroic sacrifice. I was in my feels about to get teary eyed a bit because he was about to go…then BOOM, Rose. I haven’t been the same since.
Nothing redeems what they did to Luke. The alien breast and green milk... They paid billions for these iconic characters we loved and could have made the fans happy and made tons of money. Instead they just nose dived them and wasted their investments.
Anakin reaching out to Rey as we pan over seeing Ashoka, Qui Gon and Obi wan's approval brings me to tears. Ben also climbs up only to see his idol doing something truly heroic. This is beautiful from soo many angles.
I truly hope we get some no way home type star wars movie. Maybe they find a way to bring people back. But the side effects are too dangerous. Or maybe the force ghosts can just assemble.
I think it’s poetic how the one reason Anakin betrayed everything he stood for was because he wanted to obtain the power to save those he loved but never truly managed to obtain it despite Sidious’s promises but after returning to the light he finally manages to gain the power he so craved to save those he cared about and in this situation he saves Rey just as he wished he could have saved Padme. If this scene played out in theaters I’m sure it would be enough to bring a tear to any Star War’s fans eye despite the dumpster fire that this movie was.
For the same reason that Andrew Garfield's catch in No Way Home worked for many people---even those, I wager, who felt pretty meh about even that part of Amazing Spider-Man 2.
This literally would have saved everything. Palpatine was always Anakin's purpose to destroy. Rey stole his whole story from him, and made it pointless.
Even with the limitations of the available footage and dialogue, this is significantly more poetic than what Abrams gave us. It restores the victory over Palpatine as an exorcism of Anakin's demons, AND pays off his desperate search for a way to bring someone back from death in a really clever (and selfless) way. Well done!
AND it shows that anakin if not disabled from Obi-Wan could have easily been the most powerful force weilder in the galaxy, which the movies portrayed but never showed
I was screaming for Anakin to come back. As soon as the -movie- sh*tshow ended, I got so mad I threw a random tantrum when I was leaving the theater with my friends. Worst ending to a movie I've ever seen, I haven't seen much, but out of all of the ones I've seen and will see, I don't think any other movie will have an ending that is as bad as this one.
@@zeinmets3550 I second that reaction very much. I didn't even bother watching ROS in theaters because I knew anything but Palpatine's scenes would suck ass, based on the previous film. This scene or one like it could have redeemed almost everything, but, of course, they didn't have the intelligence or care to put it in. A tragedy, really. What I acknowledge as canon is the original Star Wars canon, i.e. "legends," with elements of the false canon, like the Clone Wars, Vader's stories, and a few other elements, implemented here and there. But anything after ROTJ? Nothing. I'd take the Yuuzhan Vong over these three pieces of poorly-written eye candy.
@tinobemellow Rogue One was good, and a lot of the mandalorian, I also enjoyed the Obi Wan series mostly, and Andor is proving to be good too. The sequels are definite trash though.
I think this is the ending we should have gotten I felt happy throughout the entirety of it The chosen one defeated the darkside Rey was saved by anakin And ben and rey survived. To me this is the canon ending that everyone can enjoy
The Force Ghosts movements are perfect. The best Force Ghosts edit that i've seen so far. And the « My powers are doubled since the last time we met, Palpatine » speech was well delivered and edited too. Putting that « Palpatine » in that sentence was perfect. And the ending was perfectly cut in the right time. Congrats for this video.
This is how the sequels end! No matter how many times I watch this scene, the arrival of Anakin Skywalker still gives me goosebumps. Anakin is the chosen one and he is the only one who can bring balance to the force. He learned that the light side has the power to heal someone and even to save lifes - not the dark side. @LioZ: A big compliment to you. Even the music fits the scenery perfectly. This is how the main antagonist of a saga should fall!
What's funny about that, to me, is how throughout the entire Revenge of the Sith game, he's using Force Healing, yet still falls to the dark side to save Padme. Like what lol

This is new canon. Infinitely better than "Wow I have 2 lightsabers!" Having Anakin be the one who ultimately stops Sheev means that his sacrifice and redemption from Return of the Jedi isn't for nothing.
And felling the evil emperor once and for all, Anakin turned towards one voice he hadn't heard in ages... The voice of a youngling... "Master Skywalker? Have at you, you sonofabitch!"
Its cool as hell for sure. But it's not really good storytelling. The one who saves the day and defeats the ultimate villain shouldn't be a character that has zero screen time in the sequel movies. It also contradicts Obi Wan Kenobi's statement on Dagobah when he tells Luke that he cannot interfere in his battle with Vader. I don't really like TROS or how they executed Palpatine's return. However I do love the concept of Palpatine actually cheating death as he implied in ROTS. If it goes against the chosen one prophecy that's up for the writers to decide. The prophecy isn't deeply explored in the prequels. Lucas seemingly wanted to keep it up to interpretation. Yoda even says that there's a possibility that the prophecy has been misread. In George Lucas idea of the sequels he even wanted Leia to be the chosen one. TROS solves the problem in a reasonable way. Having Anakin say "bring back the balance Rey, as I did" establishes that he did indeed bring balance. And it was balance for bout 30 years which is quite an accomplishment. I mean the sith was always, inevitably going to return.
That's the ending we needed: Anakin finishing what he ''''created'''' and getting redemption after his Darth Vader/Sith arc and really bringing balance in the force ending the ''skywalker saga'' in the most good way possible.
Literal tears when all the Jedi saw anakin walk over to Rey and vanished. Nobody needed to see what was about to happen, as soon as they saw him move they knew his redemption was complete and his destiny was fulfilled. What a beautiful arc, finished by someone who understood 👏👏👏
What are you talking about “somehow anakin returned?” It would have worked because we already know that he is a force ghost at the end of episode 6. We now know that force ghosts can influence the real world. Anakin being the chosen one, would come back and fight the emperor upon learning of his survival. That’s not lazy writing. That’s how it should have been.
@@ishouldhavebeencareful nah if the emperor can spawn out of thin air with nothing but some scrolling text at the start of the film then Anakin can show up in a film where the title of the film is “rise of the skywalker” that is all the build up I and many others would have needed. @@_GalKestis_ no, palps was still extremely powerful. Too many people don’t understand just how powerful. The entire galaxy was put into a state of darkness. As Yoda put it “a shroud of the darkside”. @@fishfossils8858 He was incredibly powerful. He also was extremely manipulative, cunning, and well versed in sucking hope away. He was pure evil and fear did strike the hearts of everybody around him. However, Anakin is LITERALLY the Force reincarnated. He’s basically space Jesus. It’s confirmed he has the highest midichlorian count of any Force user, and he brought what were essentially Gods to their knees using the Force. Literally he just told them to get to their knees and they did. He was so powerful he literally turned the planet around so that day turned into night. Palpatine was extremely well versed in the darkness, experience made him more skilled in that area. He was older than Anakin and had more experience. Anakin was around 22-23 when the Clone Wars ended and the Empire was formed, which gives him a whopping 13 years of training. Palpatine has had training for a lot longer and with a stronger aspect of the Force. He was able to control and manipulate like a pro. He was capable of ruling the Galaxy. This does NOT make him match the raw power Anakin has. Extremely close? Yes, I can see it. Matching Mortis completely? No. If Anakin used anything less than that power I believe Anakin would lose. Remember using the Dark Side is also stronger, and as a Jedi he was only taught the Light Side of the Force. However Sidious used the Dark Side exclusively, and had all sorts of Sith Artifacts in his office that most likely helped.
@@bfbc2tester Figures. As technology advances with time people become more reliant on it and as a result become softer and weaker as people. The same is true in Star Wars. That's why the average prequel character is so much more powerful than the average OT character (Compare Darth Maul to Chewbacca). It definitely makes sense that prequel era Jedi, who have been rigorously trained in the Jedi arts since they were toddlers, would be far more powerful than any sequel character, Force-sensitive or not. Palpatine himself is the only prequel character with considerable power in this scenerio, but even he doesn't stand a chance against the combined might of the entire Jedi Order.

This edit is amazing! Anakin deflecting palpatine’s lightning is so cool and it made it so real! Here is the kicker, none of the Jedi taught Anakin how to deflect lightning! Amazing work! man it took over 2 months to get this uploaded. Awesome work. I thought Anakin would use 2 lightsabers but he used his powers to deflect that lightning. Keep up the great work!
thank you so much! I'm sorry it took that long to make, I had some problems with the rendering but it's all good now as you can see, and I'm very happy you liked it!
Tuteminus (energy redirection and manipulation) is one thing most Jedi learn. Yoda used it a few times and Anakin could probably do it, but he got sucker zapped by Dooku in Ep 2. His metal hands prevented him from doing it after he became Vader.
Yeah. This kinda seems like a deus ex machina, since the only one who could do that was Yoda (and it wasn't explained how, or why... I guess Ketamine, unnatural powers gives. Yes I know that meme's being dead for like three years). But come on, at this point nothing related to the main line of Star Wars makes that much sense. It's like on the same levels of I dunno, Joseph Joestar deafening Kars, or to be more accurate, Jotaro being able to Stop Time. Even if nobody thought him how? But yes, anything makes more sense than the entire Episode IX plot. Good job anyway.
this is almost what I actually thought or hoped was going to happen. Before the film released I had a theory that all the force ghosts would come back including Anakin's and all of the ghosts would put what's left of their force essence into Anakin, sacrificing their immortality and bringing Anakin back from the dead. To finish what he started. That would have been cool to me. And this edit is so good. Obviously not perfect, as you are limited with scenes but from what you had its so good. Also, Anakin's entrance in this is so fucking cool. With the scene you picked out to the music choice. its great
Actually, YES. I love your theory. It would have been awesome if things happened exactly how you described it. You would feel the stakes as there would not be any more force ghosts for the future generation of Jedis. The audience would have taken the movie more serious. At least the ending.
I was hoping for Palpatine to bear Rey and Ben, than the force ghosts arrive ignite Sabres and engage Palpatine. Or something What was the point of the whole DECADES long build up for force ghosts......
Why!? Why Didn’t we get this ending!? This is the one! Incredible job to everyone who was involved in this. Now if we can only get them to replace the current ending with this one.
Because Rian was intent on destroying the Sith, the Jedi, and everything else George created. As far as I'm concerned, Rian's episodes are bad fan-fiction that are not canon.
This is the ending guys, I don’t know why everybody’s saying, ‘If this was the ending..’ 🙄 No. This IS the ending. No arguments. No complaints. Full applause.
that was in fact pretty ridiculous. the worse scene done here, mainly because it shows Anakin cares about no one but it's utter power. This ending would be even more enjoyable if Sidious said "I'm all of the Sith" and Anakin replied "But I'm all of the Jedi", being the strongest one to spear against Sidious without the need of showing of and telling "I'm the most powerful Jedi ever" - which is so un-jedi, even for me which considers the republic era and years before the age of decadence of the Jedi order, reffusing by pride to evolve with time (as the Sith did so well...)

Yeah. As a fan of episode 1-6, I gotta say: This is Canon for me. I just watched the ending to episode 9 and felt nothing. But when watching this, even if it's just a fan made video, gav3 me chills. Would've been interesting to see Palpatine engage Kylo and Rey in a massive two on one duel; dueling them, ripping chunks of rock out of the ground in order to get some high ground similar to how he fought Yoda, basically toying with them until they collapse from exhaustion and from sustained injuries, demonstrating just how powerful he is in comparison he is to the two of them. Rey pleads with the Force for help. That's when we see someone in a Force glowing Jedi robe kneel between the two of them. Seeing that the two of them are now healed, the Jedi removes his hood, revealing himself to be Anakin Skywalker; the Chosen One. Kylo is an awe of seeing his grandfather beside him. Anakin places his hand on Kylo's shoulder and gives him a proud smile. As Anakin stands up and slowly places himself between Palpatine, Kylo and Rey, Luke appears, giving them both a hand up. Rey embraces Luke, which he returns. Kylo stands off to the side, ashamed. Luke approaches him and smiles, letting him know that all is forgiven. Rey is concerned, fearing that Palpatine will overpower Anakin just as he did them, but Luke calmly advises her to stay back and enjoy the show; it's been a long time coming. Palpatine is furious at seeing his treacherous apprentice again, and fearful that Anakin's power is no longer under his control. Anakin, his eyes more sad that is has come to this with someone he once believed to be a friend, yet remaining dutiful to what must be done. Palpatine unleashes everything he has at once; the same level of Force Lightning that he used on the resistance fleet, ripping entire columns and statues out to crush Anakin, tendrils of dark energy, every Dark Side ability at his disposal all unleashed simultaneously. Anakin raises his hand and creates a wall of Force energy, absorbing Palpatine's attacks into the barrier. Terrified, Palpatine orders his Star Destroyers for an orbital bombardment. Seeing the cannon fire heading toward them, Anakin raises his other hand and freezes the blaster bolts in mid air before sending them back at the Sith Fleet, unleashing devastating damage. Dozens of TIEs swarm toward the citadel in an attempt to destroy whatever was threatening their Emperor. Seeing them coming, Anakin uses the Force to halt the TIEs and smash them into the ground; not enough to kill the pilots within, but enough to put the TIEs out of action. Deciding to end this once and for all, Anakin uses his power to cut Palpatine off from the Force, rendering him powerless. Horrified and completely at Anakin's mercy, Palpatine pleads with his former apprentice to spare him. Anakin pulls Palpatine's Force spirit from his clone body, drawing it into the nether world of the Force. The clone body withers and crumbles away. With the deed done, Anakin and Luke instruct Rey and Kylo that for centuries, the Force has been out of balance due to the Jedi and Sith's views of which side was superior; views that have plunged the galaxy into war again and again. To keep this from happening again, they state that a new order must be made; one that embraces both the Light Side and the Dark Side, creating balance and harmony between the two. On Endor, Rey and Kylo walk towards Vader's grave and reunite his helmet with the rest of his burnt skeletal remains.
this would have been SO MUCH BETTER. Sadly, while most of this would have been possible... the last bit implying a Grey Order of Jedi would never be. Both Disney and G. Lucas absolutely hate the concept of a Grey Jedi. Disney because they're addicted to the concept of good vs evil, light vs dark, and that good always wins. The Grey area exists in a realm between good and evil. Something Disney has never allowed. The only exception being the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Not even The Mandalorian was allowed to exist in the grey area. G. Lucas didn't care for the concept for other reasons. Reasons I cannot say, because I do not know them.
1:35. When the theme hits, there is so much emotion behind this. The Chosen One once again facing the Sith Lord who destroyed what he was always meant to be. It would have been more cathartic than even Episode VI.
This would have been a cheering moment in theatres. Imo it would have been more emotional then infinity war or endgame. The pacing if this edit is just perfect.

@@thegreatwolf2420 But was it necessary for Palpatine to return, undermining Anakin's sacrifice for nothing, and for Rey and not Anakin to beat him? What they did in the sequel trilogy ruined so many arcs that should've been preserved. Having a Palpatine survive as the last force-user in the galaxy? Really? When the title was "The Rise of Skywalker"? It should've been Anakin or at worst, Ben. Not Rey. The Rise of SKYWALKER. Not The Rise of Palpatine
@TheGreatWolf no he didn't bring balance at ALL, Palpatine wasn't killed and in fact in the period you call balance Palpatine was building a secret fckn hidden armada of death star planet killing destroyers AND sending Snoke about doing dark side shit, and turned Ben Solo who himself did Dark side shit....lol its entirely the opposite of balance...oh no make no mistake they moved REY Palpatine to the one that brought balance....
When I sparingly see the sequel trilogy as canon, THIS ending is officially canon to me going forwards. Stupendous job. I was already blown away, but then the smiling shots of Ahsoka, Qui-Gon, and Obi-Wan brought on tears. I LOVED that Anakin's grandson got to see him, too. This is the ending Anakin deserved. Thank you thank you thank you for this.
I really love that. Anakins Arc is saved. I love especially how he heals Rey and the ending. I wish it could be possible to see Rey and Ben survives together at the end of the movie.
My major issue is that frankly, death is too easy a path to redemption. I would've found it more compelling if he survived, but ultimately had to live in exile as the galaxy hated him for the atrocities committed in his name. The path of redemption shouldn't generally be as easy as dying, but rather a long process that doesn't even necessarily want appreciation; just self worth and the desire to change. Not that I'm a massive fan of this ending either; but I kind of feel if your going to have these two being equal then they should fight him together.

This ending would have given Anakin so much closure on who he would have become had he not fallen to the Dark Side. It would also have shown Ben who his grandfather truly was behind Vader’s mask.
it would have been beautiful to see
To be fair this movie erased anakin’s closure by making it that his sacrifice didn’t matter since palpatine never died so it’s a moot point.

@@belfast4893 Even if Han killed Palpatine it would be fair coz in Legends he did it
As another wise TH-cam comment once said: "Star Wars stopped being good when it was no longer about the Skywalker Saga"
1:34 could you imagine the theaters reaction at this, it would have been crazy! This is canon in my mind now.
This would’ve broken so many records
they had every single opportunity, to make the rise of skywalker the greatest hit of all time. if they had done this ending, it would get a solid 9
Would've made more sense having this considering the name of the movie is Rise Of Skywalker...
now we talking
Don't forget everything leading up to this would still have been dog shit and they also still kissed at the end
I will delete the other jedi then it would have been perfect
This literally would have saved everything. Palpatine was always Anakin's purpose to destroy. Rey stole his whole story from him, and made it pointless.

@@Jedi-ge6lr one of the quotes ever made.
@@zeinmets3550 I second that reaction very much. I didn't even bother watching ROS in theaters because I knew anything but Palpatine's scenes would suck ass, based on the previous film.
Yes I thought it was dumb who they brought him back but now I’m pleased ☺️
@@jeremy4375 I’m dying!!!😂
Who the fuck is sheev?
This is just so much better than the original ending !

@@ishouldhavebeencareful Yeah this would still suck, but at least it's preferable to the thing we ACTUALLY got, nightmare that it is
What are you talking about “somehow anakin returned?”
It would have worked because we already know that he is a force ghost at the end of episode 6.
Its why literally the entire galaxy exploded into celebration at the death of palpatine but almost nobody joined the rebellion, it’s because Sidious has literally sapped the hope from almost the whole galaxy. He was extremely powerful, and it wouldn’t have been easy.

To finish what he started. That would have been cool to me. And this edit is so good. Obviously not perfect, as you are limited with scenes but from what you had its so good. Also, Anakin's entrance in this is so fucking cool. With the scene you picked out to the music choice. its great

Palpatine's face distorts from a triumphant sneer to a twisted combination of rage and fear. The Jedi places his hands upon Kylo and Rey's faces; energy from the Force healing their injuries.
That would‘ve been amazing!

Reading this gave me chills. Disney should hire you.
You are a great
Why couldn’t this be they way it ended, actually speechless 10/10
Thinking back, Anakin reaching full potential and defeating Palpatine would’ve been thr perfect ending.
1:35. When the theme hits, there is so much emotion behind this.
The Chosen One once again facing the Sith Lord who destroyed what he was always meant to be.
It would have been more cathartic than even Episode VI.
Agreed, that gave me goosebumps
This would have been a cheering moment in theatres. Imo it would have been more emotional then infinity war or endgame. The pacing if this edit is just perfect.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
We all deserve to go to hell because we have sinned. But God loved us and gave us His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross in our place to pay the punishment of all of our sins for us when he died on the cross. Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and yet God the Son also. God the Father (God)has raised Jesus his son from the dead. JESUS IS COMING AGAIN!!!! Repent of your sins, and believe in who Jesus is and what He did for you and that God the Father has raised Him from the dead and you WILL BE SAVED FROM THE LAKE OF FIRE(hell).
Sinner’s prayer
Lord, I know I’m a sinner, I believe that you died on the cross in my place of burning in hell forever so I wouldn’t have to go to hell. I accept your sacrifice for me. Please save me from the lake of fire and forgive my sins. Thank you for the gift of eternal life! Amen.
We are saved by grace through faith!
After accepting Jesus the Holy Spirit will come indwell you, and help guide you in your Christian life!:)
Now turn from your old, sinful ways towards Jesus Christ and surrender your life to Him! Read the Bible(particularly New Testament to start)for more instructions!
If you have any questions please ask me!
God bless you!:)
Seeing all those jedi return, brings such a beautiful feeling of nostalgia. This is exactly what I needed from this movie. This little scene is lore to me now.
Why was ashoka back there? She's presumably still alive by the events of this movie
@@tripwire3992not really can be assumed she passed since this is like 30 odd years
I love how he didn't even look like he was trying that hard
to whoever did this eddit, thanks, you brought joy to my heart and gave meaning to "Skywalker" part in the movie, truly crazy what an actual star wars fan can come up with
Almost feels as though we may have lived this story before, perhaps throughout eternity? Such an incredibly powerful one, hard to explain.
Makes the sequels infinitely better as it doesnt ruin the prophecy and who Anakin was supposed to be. Glad we have such a good fan base that things like this can be put out there.
totally agree with you!
The prophecy was never ruined to begin with, he was supposed to bring balance to the force and that’s what he did
@@thegreatwolf2420 But was it necessary for Palpatine to return, undermining Anakin's sacrifice for nothing, and for Rey and not Anakin to beat him?
Only thing missing was Anakin walking to Kylo and being like, "Look, grandson, I understand- but get your shit together" and then fading out.
@@Sephiroth144 Thought the same thing while watching it.
A far, far, better ending than the Disney offering. The chosen one and the prophecy all fulfilled. Excellent work!
I really love that. Anakins Arc is saved. I love especially how he heals Rey and the ending. I wish it could be possible to see Rey and Ben survives together at the end of the movie.
Apparently Ben was supposed to still be alive, but there was a script change and they decided to kill him off. Shameful
@@justgrayyy105 That's really a Shame. I think Ben is the best character of the sequel trilogy.
@@justgrayyy105 Just like they killed my boy Kanan, what a waste of potential😔well... at least he had a worthy death of a Jedi Knight. RIP Kanan Jarrus 33 BBY - 1 BBY May the force be with you, always.
totally agree with you!
