The tension and predictability was completely ruined showing the shot of Ben turning his hand and the light-saber turning also. Would have been a bigger shock not knowing these two shots.
The fact that Snoke is a clone made me think of how in Legends Darth Sidious took a Gamorrean and a Kowakian Monkey-Lizard and mutated them through Sith Alchemy. Gorc and Pic were reborn as Mutants with a Force-Bond and were codenamed the Brothers of the Sith.

My theater on opening night went wild at these scenes. One of the best theater going experiences I've ever had. Even opening night for endgame wasn't as hyped.
Honestly, he did see the lightsaber. This wouldn’t be the first time Palpatine set everything in motion for his favor. I feel this now because Palpatine told Kyle that every voice he has heard is his and if Snoke was a clone (clone of who though?) then I feel like he purposefully had him killed off because of the rule of two. Just a theory though. My opinion is, it was all apart of his plan all along.
When this happened in the theater I could hardly pay attention to the following fight scene, I was so focused on Snoke’s body. I thought it was gonna stitch itself back together or something.

When this happened in the theater I could hardly pay attention to the following fight scene, I was so focused on Snoke’s body. I thought it was gonna stitch itself back together or something.

This is the equivalent of the main character randomly driven thru by a bus.
Entire movie felt like some cheap reality show with random BS. Prolly what this generation wants to see, although Box Office numbers tell a slightly different story.

And the list goes on. But lel to you for not understanding why that particular plot twist from TLJ is sooo crucial to the character development of Kylo Ren. It is a great twist and only a fool questions it.

That was one of the most intelligent and uncalculated moves but definitely couldn’t have been planed since he wouldn’t know if the lightsaber would end up next to Snoke
