This is the most beautiful, but also tragic tribute to Anakin Skywalker, the man who suffered from slavery, the Jedi, and the Sith, his death freed from his pain and suffering
Thank you so much for your kind words! Indeed, that was the idea behind the video, to show that after all Anakin was a victim and his fear of loss was taken advantage of. Anakin was a slave all his life: a slave to Watto, a slave to the Jedi Order and a slave to the Emperor. His death did indeed free him. Such a tragic story than never ceases to break my heart, he deserved better.
Low key the Jedi deserved what they got. They had no compassion for Anakin, never listened, and were probably jealous.

I truly love Luke… he never knew his father, he only knew Vader was one of the worst people in the galaxy and yet he didn’t give up on him. He didn’t give up on Anakin and through his unconditional love he was able to bring his father back to the light even when no one else believed he could be redeemed.

This tribute was epic! I loved the transitions between Anakin and Vader and it captured perfectly his tragic story: the conflict, the manipulation, the fear of loss. Beautiful!
It's uncanny how relatable my life is with Anakin's in terms of wanting to save my loved ones and failing to do so resulting in me wanting to be more powerful so I never fail to help my loved ones ever again.
A part of anakin died the day his mom died and the rest of him died when padme died becoming the shallow husk of his former self vader...😢
Yes… he just wanted to save Padmé after being unable to save his mother.
And what was lost came back as a New Hope, his son.

Ik people see Hayden and Matt as Anakin skywalker but let’s show some respect to David and Sebastian for portraying him in the original trilogy . Great video though .

The jedi dogmatic and "full of themselves" what cause their downfall. And eventually losing anakin to the Darkside.
It's totally preventable. Thats what make it so tragic.

i am gonna cry
I watched stars wars for the first time when i was 3 years old and ever since then anakin was always my favourite (i was born in 2003, so i watched it 1-6 usually but han, chewbacca, luke and leia will always be top 10 of groups and characters) but as i grew up i understood anakin more and more, especially with newer releases but anakin is one the most relatable main characters there is, i can understand if anyone disagrees but that man went through hell and he was good and had good in him the whole time but he was torn between what people expected from him his whole life and manupilated from both sides (just my opinion)
This is just my opinion and probably influenced from my own life
This is what I feel about Anakin Skywalker. As a little boy, I saw him as a villain and always thought, "Why are you so stubborn?" But when I grew up, I saw Anakin as a man with compassion and love who lost everything-a good man who walked a dark path with a broken heart and torn soul.
for me He is a man with a mindset of, "If the world turns its back on me, then I'll fight against the world myself. either as a saviour or as a demon"
and he's not the choosen one to bring balance, he's the choosen one to reset it to zero
He lost mother, he lost wife, but he couldn't lose his son. ❤
He lost his son in the darkness
Anakin was always regarded as one of the greatest dualists, but he loses all these fights…
That's cause he gets arrogant during a fight & let's his Hubris get the better of him prime example episode III fight with Obi-Wan.
Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose easyier Said then done

This was epic though you missed the opportunity to use clips from the Ahsoka series. But this was awesome! You earned a subscriber.
I thought about it… I had a very specific idea in mind for this video. I wanted to show Anakin’s life from childhood, his fall to the Dark Side and conclude it with his eventual redemption. If you notice Luke both opens and closes the video. Ultimately the video became 13 minutes long which is blasphemous for a tribute lol most tributes are 5-10 minutes. So even if I decided to add Ahsoka scenes it would’ve been way too long.

@@Filia_Noctis nah if it’s great it don’t matter how long it is. But I feel the section that ahsoka was added and the scenes where Anakin is like telling her she abandoned him, I think the scenes that he’s fighting her would’ve fit in perfectly. As well as the clone wars scene together, that also would’ve fit together perfectly when you talk about her being his apprentice and the things that he’s taught her. It’s not like adding but rather maybe replacing some of the animated scenes to the ahsoka tv show.
But the video was great. I think it’s one of the greatest videos I’ve seen that really encompasses the struggle and complicated life of Anakin since he was a child and how it ultimately ended up on his fall to the dark side. It gave a lot of context, lines and scenes. It was great. I would’ve loved some Vader scenes but it’s like you said you wanted to focus more on the life of Anakin

I never understood why Asoka wasn't in the original films. If she was Anakin's Padawan I feel like that's a giant peice of him that's missing from the movies
Ahsoka didn’t exist at the time the prequels came out unfortunately. She was added later on.

If that’s what you believe then you missed the whole point… Qui Gon was right, Anakin’s fate was uncertain, he wasn’t dangerous. If he had been trained by Qui-Gon he wouldn’t have fallen to the Dark Side.
That’s all part of the reason why his life is so tragic, it was all preventable. That interaction between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan perfectly highlights why Kenobi was the wrong person to train Anakin: “that boy is dangerous, they all sense it, why can’t you?”. He never believed in Anakin, never wanted to train him, only did it at request of his master.
The Council also never trusted Anakin. All of this perfectly complimented by Palpatine’s grooming since he was a child, the loss of his mother, the fear of losing his wife it’s what made his fall like dominoes. It wasn’t sudden, it wasn’t unexpected, the signs were all there and it was preventable.

@DeanJosephTV movie wise Anakin had to become Darth Vader because… original trilogy.
Story wise Anakin wasn’t destined to fall to the Dark Side, there isn’t just one path. His destiny was to bring balance to the Force, there are infinite possibilities for how he could’ve achieved it.
Anakin only fell to the Dark Side to save Padmé, Qui Gon wouldn’t have let it get that far. He openly disagreed with many of the Council decisions. He’d have had a much more open relationship with Anakin than the one Obi-Wan had. Obi-Wan was too much by the book.
If Anakin had help with Padmé he would not have fallen, Palpatine knew the council really well, he knew they didn’t trust Anakin or much like him. Anakin was denied the rank of master that would give him access to the restricted section to find a way to save Padmé. When he went to speak to Yoda about it he was stonewalled.
Qui-Gon would’ve listened, he would’ve helped. Hell he would’ve definitely been a father figure to Anakin meaning Palpatine would’ve had a much harder time grooming him.
The Jedi were blind, they were too self assured and arrogant: “I don’t believe the Sith could’ve returned without us knowing”. Their complacency and their inability to see what was right in front of them ultimately gave Palpatine free reign to take over the Galaxy.

What Obi-Wan meant was “your need for victory when it comes at the expense of everything else”. He was able to take Anakin’s lightsaber from him because Anakin got cocky.

Until you mentioned the channel I had no idea who Tomorrow and Tomorrow were.
I did not take the clip from them, I found the clip on a TikTok account reposting Star Wars content, hence I did not know who to credit. If I knew of their account I would have of course contacted them considering the clip I had to use is of inferior quality and cropped horribly (due to TikTok).
I have now added the credit to the original creator. In the future it would perhaps be kinder to just approach a person and ask instead of just assuming the worst about them? I had 20 subscribers when I posted this video, I was lucky enough for it to go viral. I had no reason to steal a 5 second clip and hide where it came from.
