- The Savage TRR-SR has been on my wish list for several years, and now I got one! This thing is made for small varmint hunting. The tactical hardwood stock, the 22" fluted barrel, and the user adjustable AccuTrigger, make this rifle a varmint's nightmare. I have equipped mine with a CVLIFE 5-25X56 FFP rifle scope, a Blackhawk Sportster Adjustable bi-pod and an inexpensive Outdoor Connections rifle sling. I may need to do a little more tweaking to get it closer to perfect, but it's going to be loads of fun getting there!

I bought a 93R17 with bull barrel for prairie dogs a few years ago and I have been happy with it in terms of accuracy. Nice review.

I wonder if adding a monopod to the butt would tighten that group up. I think it likely would, but I cant think of a aftermarket attachable monopod that is available.
Some people will use a squeeze bag under the butt, that could help me quite a bit. Practice could help too! Thanks for watching!
Unfortunately i just sent my tr-sr back today. Trigger keeps locking up. An 2" groups @50yds. Tryed 3 different cci's , hornady xtp 20gr an 17gr, remington, an federal. No joy. Hopefully savage will take care of it. Only had it 2 weeks
