Try the hornady 17 grain ballistic tip and hornady 20 grain fmj hollow points. They hit almost same spot in mine. Usually less than half inch groups at 100. Great video I don't know why I keep getting unsubscribed. I just found this video and it's 3 weeks old
WTW, you ought to get a tent from Walmart, or Academy or Tolivers so you don’t have to shoot in the sun all day! You got the hood on, and long sleeves which works but a tent might keep you in the shade all day!
Hi, I'm English and a firearms owner, I too had a 17 HMR which I found very accurate. However, I now have a 17WSM which I find equally accurate but is also approximately 500 fps faster with the 20grain VMAX bullet fired through my Savage B Mag with laminate stock and fluted barrel. I also notice that the 17WSM doesn't appear to get the attention I reckon it deserves either here in the UK nor in the US and I can't fathom why that would be?

@@WHOTEEWHO neighbor is a gunsmith (lucky me ). I had him thread the barrel for me. Why I got the sporter with the thicker barrel. Use my Dead Air .22 suppressor with it.
Great video and great result....BUT....I know and you know that you need to do same video using that rimfire hawk scope lol. If it performs as well with a Hawk rimfire scope it will be awesome.

Just imho this is a very pressure sensitive platform and caliber..if you would like to consistently do the next to last grouping..it may be helpful to ck the stock of course but to ck the torque on the action screws and set to proper spec if needed..just my 2 cents. Edit: also that's a lotta Rrrrrrr's

I just bought a 93r17 minimalist and Savage’s AC22 AccuCan to go with it can wait to take it out to the range it’s also my first rifle in 17HMR.

A store in NY by me has boat loads of 17hmr zero 22 mag though that’s a tough one here right now

If you don’t mind, when you right in at 10yrd, you have two dots there. I understand why, just curious what the distance between the dots is?
Normally about 2 inches. Best guess between the middle of the scope and middle of the barrel

Love you but if you want a 17 you need to get a 17 WSM. Twice the energy of a 17hmr way way faster with the 20 grain going 3000fps.
