That's a wise choice of investigators. You don't want to be in her space when she hits a madness level and Ernie just doesn't want to be in her space full stop. Great paint jobs. I had to paint everything before playing, with such detailed miniatures it's impossible to just shuffle about grey. The only thing I wish, and this is a really minor quibble, is the size of the tiles. Endgame is always packed and monsters fall around everywhere, but it really is no biggie. Cheers Colin, great play through/ tutorial once again.

That paint job is amazing!!!! I have so many CMON and other games with lots of minis, and not a single mini is painted. I keep saying that someday I will get the supplies, practice, and paint my minis. Maybe when my kids are older….

Those minis are beautifully painted. I will paint mine but others are in line to get painted. Finishin with space for and first born all in. Next massive darkness 1-2 all in.

Cool. I think I will try the slap chop method. As you know is ringing bells anyways. I use AP speed paints. Love them. Excited for vallejo express color line coming out probably this month.

I don't really know to point out why, but it didn't clicked for me, I guess that it's because that the game is very thematic and I usually tend to play more of an abstract games (where the theme is only for flavour, and for some reason in this game it feels to me that the theme is more important).
But truly I am not sure, since I love playing RPGs (like dnd), and lately I enjoyed playing sleeping gods, so maybe it's not that.
I believe that in the future I'll give this game another shot.
It sounds like to me you might just need to try it one more time? Cause I think based on enjoying sleeping gods you can enjoy this one!! Thanks for responding!

Unrelated, I was looking to see if this game was for me or not and it's now clear that it is not. Barely any room for strategies. Instead of relying on wits, the game makes you rely on luck to such a high degree. I don't know what people see in this game. Plus it's another overproduced CMON game that could cost a quarter of the price if the minis were pretty meeples instead.
I personally love the game but that's the best part we can enjoy different games! Thanks for stopping in!
Mental note, have to play DMD soon! I have yet to win this scenario (refusing to play the others till I win, but it's mainly that there is abundance of other games waiting on the shelves).
A bit hurts not having the characters from the Unspeakable Box, but I haven't played with all characters from Season 1 and 2, so probably for the better.

This is such a hard episode! I'm impressed you aren't moving on until you beat it. Although the additional investigators is awesome I think between season 1 and 2 there is enough there to keep you busy for a bit!! Thanks for watching!

That is only if you have the marksman ability!

Im looking to add a 'miniatures dice rolling kill a bunch of ennemies' game to my collection. This one seems very nice its just the disgusting monsters that are holding me, I would prefer another setting :p
Oh I'm with you!! That is the hardest part I wish it had a different theme... you could check out chronicles of drunagor or did and sorcery! They have not as gross minis

Yog sothoth. Funny Lovecraft never called his stories the chuthulhu mythos. He called it in letters to his friend his yogthothosery. As yog sothoth is the gate keeper and the main key in the mythos.

Apologies, quick question, how may investigators do you find ideal to play this game. I'm undecided between two/ three. I tried with four, but it just got too hectic during countdown. Cheers again.
I find 2 to be the best for most scenarios but sometimes 3 is nice too! Just depends really. I like having powered up investigators so that usually means less is better!

It’s a VERY different type of game. It’s more along the lines of zombicide, quick action packed play. So yeah, you could own all 3 and they would each fill their own niche
i just noticed that you are making roll for alchemist lab with green dices - that is not possible and it is against the rules, it is not an attack roll - you can use only black dices for this
