Sister Mary's High Strung was the MVP. I agree you can use it on gambling rolls, since it says "ANY roll". At the end, could Sister Mary have used Brawling to assign all hits simultaneously, resolving the Dark Young's first so they die and the hits would also apply to The Black Goat? Victory in either case, but I'm not sure on how timing works.
Cool thanks David! I'm assuming you have to kill everything in the room first before hitting the black goat. But I'm not sure on that either! Regardless a ton ton ton of fun!!
I feel like the attacks all happening simultaneously means that all the enemies are alive while everyone's taking damage, and then they're all removed at the same time. So there would still be Dark Young there when you tried to apply damage to the Goat.
him making a ton of mistakes was the real MVP

Wow this was so cool, love the casino vibe! I havnt seen any game play of this game. Looks like it a season 2 of content? Is there several scenarios then for each season?

41:40 - Your sanity card said take 1 stress but you said it doesn't matter because you were at full stress. The main rules state that if you cannot take stress then you have to take a wound for each stress you cannot take instead, so you would of had 2 wounds and not one. Also up to this point, twice you drew a discovery card when you were NOT in a safe place. (Each time you had a cultist in the same room as you) This counts as an unsafe place as you have an enemy in your room. :P
Amendment 1... Straight after this you drew a Mythos card that said you have to take one stress - AKA you have to take another wound (you now have 3x wounds and not one). Let's see what comes next LOL
Amendment 2... I forgot to mention... 31:14 - You didn't spawn a Yug at the yellow spawn point.

As i play solo id love these games more if they did a standee version, everything they have made for this game would fit in one box then as well, i dont need a room full off minis.
CDMD is so confusing now, so they have no season 3? but are releasing season 4 and at the same time they are releasing a version 2 off CDMD???

I have the base game and love it. Even my wife enjoys it and prefers it over Arkham Horror LCG (as it plays more fluid). Would you recommend any of the expansions? If so, which ones? I know there's two Great Ones and then the Season 2 scenario pack.
The one I'd suggest is the Season 2 pack, it provides the most bang for your buck. The Black Goat expansion does also provide a 3rd Elder One so it depends on what you want more of. Do you want more scenarios? Season 2 no question. Do you want another Elder One? Go with the Black Goat! Hope that helps and glad you and your wife enjoy it! My wife likes it a lot too which says something as she is not a fan of the theme!

Oh, with our wives enjoying this game so much, I think it shows this game is focused on having FUN, and there isn't a lot of rules which helps!
I would say the scenarios are quite comparable to season 1 if not slightly better! Hope that helps!!
I thought if you had to take stress and couldn't that you had to take damage? It's been awhile since I played so I'm not 100% sure. Maybe I'm thinking of a different game
Nope! Only if the effect that causes you to lose stress states you take wounds of you can't take stress!
During the boss fight the card said that the black goat couldn't take damage until all other enemies were defeated. So the initial damage taking out the dark young shouldn't have been applied to the black goat if I'm understanding that correctly. It would have taken another combat turn at the very least

Check the video again the first attack I did not apply the damage to the black goat! Only the 2 attacks at the end! Sister Beth is a beast!!
