Nice playthrough. I did this with a few fellas, and we won but it was such a close match since 3 of our investigators were atop of Cthulhu and the card where you fall could've come at any second. The kid is tremendously powerful for this episode simply because of how close the gates are along with the other investigator that can copy signature skills

Seeing as investigators get to use stress to reroll the Cthulhu attacks, and seeing as you have multiple insanity triggers that force you to lose stress each time after failing, wouldn't it make sense to just spend those stress rerolling, knowing you otherwise would lose them anyway?
Also, this mission looks awesome. I just finished "season 1" so I'm going to keep plugging away at it and hope to make this finale as a Halloween event.
Nice!!! And I can see what you are saying but you usually want stress so you can get those adventure cards!

I know i must be very convincing!! I had said it as a joke and then all of a sudden.. he painted it all! Made me paint the investigators and monsters... so ridiculous haha!
@@OneStopCoopShop he made me start painting so my half of the Dungeon Alliance videos didn't look horrible. Maybe he is on the payroll for citadel paint?

This scenario feels quite different from the others. Reminds me of Shadows of the Colossus.
Totally agree, part of why I was actually impressed. Felt like it was done well although not sure I'd play it with 5 people since you are VERY likely to have investigators die
Nice playthrough :) Well done paintjob on the mini...eh maxi Cthulu. I currently feel i have enough Cthulu-themed games, but i have to admit, its fast, fun and frantic :) I just think that you can end your turn on full health and still die because of unlucky mythos cards drawn by other players.
Thanks for watching! I totally agree with your assessment, and thats why I recommend not playing with more than 2-3 on this scenario so you can move investigators once yours dies :) It is certainly a game I don't NEED but enjoy immensely for some reason!
Ha I tried to film this twice set up the normal way and could never get it right. Very smart the way you did it.

One Stop Co-op Shop I tried it with 8 cameras then 4 and a hand held like gorilla miniatures does. But this makes more sense. Good job!
I can't even imagine! Yeah the hand helds make me dizzy :) 8 cameras would be INSANE to edit. I have a hard time with 2. . HAHA Good luck I want to watch! :)

Wouldn't Elizabeth's "Lucky" level 4 let you have 3 re-rolls even for attacks against you? It does say "per roll"...
So not sure on that, but maybe? That would make that an INSANE ability as it helps BOTH attack and Defense. Regardless she was likely toast at the end :) Thanks for watching Chris!
@@OneStopCoopShop It does you can force enemies to reroll from any game mechanic that allows it, so getting her lucky maxed out means EVERY new test in any direction gets 3 rerolls.
At 46:00 did you use toughness to negate the damage to ALL players? Wouldn't it just negate the damage to the tough character?

@@OneStopCoopShop u say if a player dies mid turn, you don't have to pick up a mythos card, u only look at what you've drawn and u had 2 mythos advancement cards, what if it was 3 does it effect the player
