I'm an absolute DMD superfan! I just can't get enough of it, which makes it even worse that I missed both kickstarters. Oh well, guess I'll sell my soul to get everything second hand...
I really love DMD. Wish I had been part of the Kickstarter, but at least I own everything retail.
I get this on the table when I had a tough day at work and need something to relax without thinking too much about tactics.

I believe that at 31:21 you could've placed a damage token on Bert's masochism card, which means he wouldn't have to take 1 damage at 38:00. But I guess it didn't matter in the end!

This game is great !
Got some minor cons for me (the geat ancients that could have been more different than the same "lvl 1, 2, 3, 4" to fight again and again)
And maybe the board that is a bit too small to put all the minies onto it once we have aggro all the ennemies ^^
except those points. It is such a great and tense game !

Haven't tried the season 2 yet, but i'll do that once i finished the 1st box in all the configuration possible !

not sure if my reply posted so lets try this again! I agree the Elder Ones are not nearly is differentiated as they could be, but given that I play the game maybe 1 time a month it works out quite well. Season 2 is great so I hope you get there soon! Thanks so much for watching!
@@OneStopCoopShop absolutely ! if the game do not touch the table every week, the redoundance of the bosses is not a big negative. But i still wish they made some different mechanic there, and not only Kill lvl one, then lvl 2, then 3 and sometimes a fourth one !
Never the less, it's still a really funky funny game !
Are you always playing 2 "heroes" on your solo games ? and if yes, don't you found it too punishing ?
I have found 2 to be just about right as it allows them to level up and makes it a tense finish! That is what I want in this game!
I'd like to make some suggestions for another playthrough Colin, but like Maxim I have a problem with short term memory and can't remember which characters, bosses and scenarios have been played! lol

I'm not a huge fan of the Lovecraft theme generally but I love the Zombicide-style dungeon crawls (incl. Massive Darkness 2, Project Elite) and the gameplay for this one looks so fun!

The artifacts help the investigators ramp up even faster than usual, relative to the scenario. Not totally sure how/why the security guards don't notice all the monsters around then.

because you are playing as insane people and they really aren't there. you area group of crazies that think they are saving the world but you are really just killing people ( the cultists) in the night at a location. the monsters are all in their imagination. read the flavor text for each story and you will see it all makes sense this way.
I got Hellboy board game collectors edition and 2 expansions, Betrayal of the house on the hill instead of Death may die. I am hoping to get it sometime it looks awesome

Which one you would pick up between this one and fireteam zero for playing solo?
Thanks for watching! This is such a hard question, DMD is better for streamline but Fireteam Zero has more enjoyable card play. I feel Fireteam is more challenging and DMD is more relaxed. You can play with 2 investigators here but I think Fireteam works the best with 4, so I think for solo I would LEAN towards DMD, but I think I like Fireteam slightly more. . . Hard choices though! Good luck!

I’ve been playing it so that if you summon him in green you only face level 2 of the elder one to win. I couldn’t understand the love as I literally never lost. Now I think I see where I went wrong!

Just wondering if you plan to do a play through of the LOTR LCG, 2nd Edition. I don't know how different it is from the 1st edition, but it would be great to see the differences, if any.
Not sure yet, the only difference are these campaign cards and so I haven't gotten it yet!

Thats the campaign cards! It just allows you to play the games and get a small benefit or detriment from the last scenario!
