Drove it 8 ½ super reliable years and traded it for a 2007 Tundra CrewMax when the 2nd generation came out. Drove my ‘07 for 13 ½ until an oak tree fell on it and totaled it. To anyone interested in these old tundras, here is some important info.
You should probably stay away from 2000-2002, unless you get a killer deal/love the look (they changed the looks in 2003)
The 2000-2002 models have undersized calipers that warp rotors quickly, (can be changed) and weaker transmissions (still a Toyota, though). they equipped them with better exhaust manifolds in 2005 as well. There is probably other things I’m forgetting, you kind of have to dig for this info
Also, with all Tundra years, you have got to get up under them with a flashlight and check for rust. These trucks had frame recalls due to rust issues. If you live in a salt state, 9/10 of them will probably be rotted through in multiple places. If you get lucky, though, you’ll get one that had a new frame and brake lines installed under the recall. Search for those

Ford is recalling nearly 49,000 electric Mustang Mach-E SUVs and has told dealers to stop selling the ones on their lots due to a potential power loss issue.
The problem stems from a high voltage battery main contactor that can overheat and either remain stuck open or weld closed following the use of a DC fast charger or repeated wide open accelerator pedal events.
"If the contactor opens while driving, a powertrain malfunction warning light will be illuminated and the vehicle will display 'Stop Safely Now’ in the cluster when the vehicle experiences an immediate loss of motive power," Ford wrote in papers filed with the NHTSA.

Alright, the price of this one is insane for the condition its in. The only things to deal with because of age on this generation of trucks is the head gaskets, evap canister, and basically anything emissions related will be starting to fail. Also probably some lightbulbs inside the gauge clusters, and overall interior plastics will already be brittle.
