Men in their 30's and 40's are young to me; some of them have never been married and don't intend to ever do so. Some were married at one time, had their hearts ripped out and don't plan to ever go through the experience again. Divorce is so prevalent in our society and it serves as a warning for so many young people. I am an older woman. I am not against dating a man a few days older then me. I want to keep my own space, money, and the bull of my life separate from a man. So, a life partner would be great for me. I still want my single life. I want to only cook and clean daily for myself. It would be nice to meet a man on my level to talk on the phone with, go out to dinner with sometime, and travel with. I just can't see myself ever living with another man. I am working on being okay with myself and being alone with myself. I also want to be self affirming. At my last job, I worked at this warehouse where older BM were the biggest gossipers and they tried to used the workplace as a dating site as they try to one up each other. My age 80+ widower grandpa met a senior lady long distance who wanted to get married and be together. He agreed to move there but he wasn’t sure on another marriage. When he was visiting her condo she complained about him leaving things on the counter or wearing shoes on the rug and whatever else. He ended up saying forget it I can’t do this. She cried and begged but it was over
Complaining? A lot of people don’t allow shoe wearing in their homes. It’s a form of cleanliness for some. Him leaving stuff all over the place. He should have been able to respect her home His lost. At his big age he’s stuck in his ways. Having a clean woman he’ disrespected her home, he couldn’t compromise on something that simple. I wish her the best she lost a headache.
