At last a proper fisherman just like me , you tie your own rigs, not following the dongle pully pennel crowd, and you think about your bait , well done. loved it
@@allenbrown8158 It's important to me that I do! I try and do this with all my fishing, keeps it interesting and as I found out, you may learn something along the way! Thanks for the feedback and pleased you enjoyed it, the videos are for you that watch after all. 💪🏼🎣🐋
Not a sea fisherman myself but love watching beach/shore fishing videos. As you have tried earthworms, what do you think of the idea of using air dried multiple boilies as a bait? Obviously flavoured and oiled appropriately for sea fishing. Cheap and easily available, especially if you make your own. Four or more on a ‘hair’(dongle) or above and on the hook would be similar to say, a ragworm. Seen so many videos where baits are destroyed in a few minutes by crabs, I thought about how carp anglers combat crayfish. Could also pop the baits up a few inches out of the reach of crabs perhaps and also use a Korda product, can’t think of it’s name right now, a clear thick perforated heat shrink sleeve which protects the baits even more than just air drying. Worth a shot or two?
@@andrewgirling7194 if my videos do nothing more than getting people out trying new things, I'm a happy man! Often thought it too, I have some proper old stinkers of boilies, they have been soaking in oils etc for river fishing for 3 years. Might take them with me and make a video 📷👌🏼
@@thomridgers4979 Thanks for that, it was a great session. I actually only kept one of the bigger Flounders as it was deep hooked. Busy week so wouldn't have had time to use them fresh. I tend to cook Whiting as fish cakes, they have a distinct flavour that in my opinion, needs other flavours with them. The flat fish are amazing cooked whole (less the head) with just salt, pepper and butter. I'm out again in the next week, so will look to keep some and do a catch and cook for you 👌🏼💪🏼🎣

Great video! How many did you keep, and how do you like to cook them? Could you do a catch-and-cook video?
