Nice silver Wayne laaaaaa.....bass are pretty easy to catch on Merseyside/North Wales if you fish in favourable conditions...unlike winter cod which have been like rocking horse shit
Great vid again Wayne, you’re a natural presenter mate! Tried for a bass at shaldon and Brixham at weekend on lures but no joy… never caught one despite several years of fishing, plenty of mackerel about though, heading out tonight to have another go somewhere different🤞
Sadly not near the coast (700 miles inland in Utah USA) so th eonly Bass I would catch would be freshwater varieties. Only been a couple of times so far this year and was after Trout anyway, but it's about the right time of year so I'll give it a go! Incidentally where were you at? Bridgewater?
Well as a bass angler for the last 54 years I've seen massive changes I went over to lure fishing 14 years back And caught around 500 a year But that has ended due to over fishing But saying that it seems like we have had some great brood years Yes there's loads of bass around but and it's a big But the sizes are down Doubles seem bloody hard to get I've had 8 biggest 15.8 Ut the last 14 years they are very few are far between In the southeast year its dire weather and tons of mayrot whats still with us Just hope it goes soon bazz
We’re out there fishing, just not in the daytime in the week. I see barely anyone late at night when I get the time to fish. Good videos mate keep up the good work 👍🏻
Well in Wayne! Holderness coast is producing a few decent bass at the moment. Unfortunately I've just had a pacemaker fitted, so not allowed to chase em! Tight lines
hi I have been following your chanel for over a year and had my first outing on Chesil this week and had a nice smoothhound thank you for your assistance.
Bass fishings been non stop out of Lymington. Fishing similar tides and tactics to you I’m also finding the odd gilt. Need to see you and Tom back over this way stinger fishing!
Great vid once again Wayne. Was out at the weekend, had a decent bass of just under 3lbs, a small one and a eel on the mighty River Thames. So chuffed with that. Keep the vid coming, enjoy them and your banter. 👍
Bass at Dungeness Kent, ,behind lifeboat station.incoming tide, into the surf..flapper with local Lug.worked for me the other day. Tight lines, Take care
Nicely done mate!! I've had a little dabble at my local creek recently. Collecting softies and peelers at low and then fishing the same spot as the tide floods. I love it. Daytime seems to be better than after dark for some reason.
Hi Wayne haven't been out in a while and now iv strained my cruciate ligament ffs🙈 I have been fishing for conger tho over the winter had one 28lb......do you ever fish in ireland?
Another well made and very watchable video wanye, always look forward to watching them, thanks for the entertainment and your knowledge sharing, already looking forward to the next 1
Nice to see you get rewarded for putting the effort in. Ttanks for posting another interesting video & releasing Mr Bass to go on to do bassy things. There are a few being landed in Dorset/Hampshire - depending on which side you're standing.
Bass fishing for me has been terrific my last 6 sessions I've had 5 at 42cm and around 15 plus just under 38cm all on lug and rag baits on a 3 hook loop rig down my local river thames.
Only schoolies for me so far this year from the shore, need to dust off the beach rods and give Chesil a go. Thanks for the motivation to get out and try again.
Great video again, I fished a couple of weeks ago on a late afternoon/evening tide, I had 8 Bass upto 30cm, a small black bream and a nice size gillhead bream all on ragworm, was nice to get out and catch something
@@TheShoreHunter lucky through persistence :) i've had bigger but the fight to get it to the net was one to remember ! loving the content, very enjoyable ......... keep well.
Catching plenty at dungeness arrive at low water pump a few yellowtails wait for the tide to hit the shingle then plop a bait 50 yards ...up and over rig You get about 3 hours til the dogfish turn up then you might aswell go home but that 3 hours can produce lots of bass
Quite a few decent bass coming out here in Norfolk.....but not for me ....Yet but hopefully soon, but have had some nice smoothies, love your vids, the PB log had me crying 🤣🤣
Hi Wayne, if someone does approach you to do a mainstream TV program about you and your fishing journeys other than as a guest, please do keep your TH-cam thing going. If people watch your back catalogue they’ll see and hear how and most importantly why you fish. As always, this is a great watch, keep up the good work, it’s really appreciated.
Im up in Angus on the East of Scotland. Caught my first ever Bass last November, 50cm. Near fell over when i pulled it out of the surf. They seem to be more common now, though I've no idea how to target the buggers.
Haven't had a chance to go for bass yet bud, I did just see you pop up on the Alex's channel out with Billy Jo in Anglesey. The 3 of you should do a session together.
My bass fishing season has been tough. Good bait, sensible marks/tides/conditions = blank for bass. I've had congers and sole - but no bass. Gotta keep trying I suppose
Great video. I am still working on a Bass session as there are loads around Plymouth. I saw your Cameo on another TH-cam channel the other day! Keep them coming keeps me sane! 😂
Don’t live near the sea, July 13 going to Wales for my week and will try again on surf beach, any tips to maybe catch one. Great videos so don’t mind joining you with your sea fishing
Ain’t been fishing since Wales last year with Mario, can’t get excited about catching pin whiting, dabs and thornies on our coast over winter after Wales threw some decent fish up, hopefully not long until the water clears out a bit and then it will be time for lure fishing for bass 👍
@@TheShoreHunter got a week towards the end of September booked so hopefully catch up with you then on Chesil, I need a trigger and you need a gilt from there
Nice watch Wayne 👍🏻 I actually smashed my PB bass this year after 37 years, it was currently a bass of 5lb but I caught a 8lb 5oz and 6lb 2oz bass in the same session!
Great video as usual, as for Bass out of Lyme we had bait balls and birds and stacks of Bass, 20 plus on the boat in less than an hour biggest went around the 7lb mark. The biggest question is why!! is that we now restrict the amount of Bass landed or is it climate change or a bit of both???
Hey wayner.. for once I can actually say I'm doing alright! Alcohol rehab going well great support from my family...even manage to get down to ches for a day and didnt blank! 1 bass... 7 hounds 4 eels and only the 1 dog!😂... all on a flapper with rag! Best session in years!... keep pumping out the videos please mate as it really helps to pass the drinking cravings. All the best pal

In the river medway we used to be lots of flounders but since about 1980 lots of small bass eat the small fry of the flatys
