- Derya TM22 - CCI Standard Velocity - 50 Yards NOT TO BAD! \
I was out plinking with my Derya TM22 and it was shooting sub minute repeatably so I decided to grab the camera and show the results I was getting. it was a fairly cool afternoon so I wasn't expecting much from the rifle as far a accuracy goes but it was shooting not to bad most groups were under a minute of angle at 50 yards from a semi auto rimfire that is still basically a stock gun. The only modification done to it is a free floated barrel. other than that its basically as you would get it from the shop. hope you enjoy this little plinking session at my backyard range. enjoy!!!
Great little plinker and no FTF's. Hallelujah!!!!! 😊
I'm so glad I got One of these. I picked it up for a 199.
I hope to find a Darya style longer mlok for my basic tm22 I like how these look compared to half the size and longer looking barrel great gun trigger is phenomenal
Decent
The can definitely made your groups better.still good stuff 👍
Fake can!
CCI SV is pretty good plinking ammo. It does have the odd rounds that always seem to throw off groups. Try the CCI Green tag, it's CCI's match ammo, it's basically the exact same as CCI SV, but far more consistent.
I have never seen any here in Canada yet anyways. I’ll definitely look into it though
Looks like you have the makings of a sub-MOA gun with the right ammo.
I used federal ammo randomly failure to eject a lot on it seems to be picky with ammo used
Try another brand mine works very well
It was seeming that the faux suppressor was helping with accuracy a little compared to other videos. I wonder how a barrel tuner would work for you.
Ya I know that extra bit of weight was helping the harmonics I will definitely be in the market for a tuner for this rifle
couple really nice groups! have you tried a better ammo yet? maybe some eley contact "semi auto" or maybe some benchrest outlaw... still even with the flyers it did great imo... cheers
I haven’t played with it much yet but I think I’ll be putting a bit more time into it.
I built a couple 10/22's both my guns I built like CCI sv ..but try the Norma TAC 22 in 1017 fps...stuff is great ..why less flyers too !!
I have a bunch of that in the locker I’ll have to dig it out and try it
Have you found an improvement in accuracy since you changed the barrel support?
I have but I think a tuner would bring this thing in big time it’s hit or miss with most ammo but when I put the fake cannon it it starts grouping way better
Isn't it nice not having snow on the ground? Green grass, green trees, and growing plants. Long winter months.
It sure is but I do enjoy winter also snowmobiling and snowboarding 🏂
@@BROTUNED I've lived in Alaska for 44 years now, and I've never been on a snow machine, and too old for snowboarding, 71 plus a disabled US veteran - Vietnam.
Oh wow I thought a snowmachine was a must for the winter in Alaska.
It makes me wonder if your suppressor needed to be clean
Not a real suppressor. It’s just an airsoft toy but the extra weight changed the harmonics of the barrel and it went from 1” to .5” so I made the video. I will get a tuner and test it out on this someday
What is the feed system on this? Is it controlled feed, like a cz 45x, or push feed?
It’s push feed like a ruger 10/22 or most blow back firearms
@@BROTUNEDThank You
Any time cheers
You won’t know until you try it. But I gave up on American Rimfire ammunition a long time ago.
In my bolt guns I use the better stuff but I haven’t played with semi autos much I find I burn through ammo so fast
Bro i think your hitting something. At 7:15 you notice chunks hitting your paper to the top right
Ya I have a metal plate to stop and catch the bullets so they aren’t just randomly going everywhere
How is the accuracy out to 100 yards
I’ll have to test it I haven’t shot groups past 50 with it but I can hit repeated small targets out to 300 with it
@BROTUNED sweet I should be getting mine this week. The ammo is so cheap here in Texas.... seams like great fun
Need a mat for those elbows to get comfortable
Ya but still better than directly on the wood
That thing you have on the end of the barrel ..no good for barrel harmonics ..bullets are lesving the barrel at a different timing of the barrel whip..vibration ...
I know it seems
Like it made it better but I think it’s better without
