Same. Canada version with down position being ready to fire. Although I don't know why you would want to rest your thumb up there, feels hella awkward when I tried it
FWIW, many folks seem to have issues with standard velocity 22LR in the TM22s... the hotter stuff (>1200 fps) seems to run problem-free. That has been my experience.
In the US rock island sells them but I haven't been able to find the full forend and adjustable stock, just the original version. I want one of the new model.
Of course! Was pretty rattled when we fired it without it... Almost flipped right off the table. In all seriousness no, its on there to highlight that it is threaded, and i had a spare laying around so why not!
I bought mine a few months ago and love it. I did have a magazine issue with fitment with 1 of my 10 rnd mags that comes with it, and 1 of the 2 25 rnd mags i bought. But a little sanding and painting and i got them to fit. This rifle is definitely picky about what ammo it likes. So far CCI seems to work best for me, everything else i have tried has cycling issues. Ive tried 3 different ammos but cci works best so far.
@landongara837 Not so good unfortunately. Had a malfunction while shooting a gopher and it blew up in my face. Im guessing the bolt latch didnt hold, but after that i can no longer feed a round into the chamber and i have retired the rifle.
Mag release blew apart 100rds in from stripped threads i never tightened it although it is plastic not sure whyand a 25rd aluminum mag won't feed properly.
It is a little picky with ammo from my experience. Using CCI blazer 22lr it cycles and shoots great. Using CCI Stingers it is amazing but those are pricey. Also high velocity Aguila cycle and shoot well. Also I can never get 25 rounds in the mag...Usually at 20 or 21 I stop as it seems to not like more than that.
Hey man what end plate works with the commercial stock? I changed mine out but the end plates I’ve tried don’t work because of that stupid screw on the back of the rifle…
What’s funny is a bought 4 tm22 feathers this past weekend. On all 4 the safety is on in the up position and off in the down position. Really makes no sense. They are the same weapon, the feather is just polymer instead of aluminum
Actually, I zoomed in on your video and it looks like you have the stock or factory end plate with your butt stock modification. I could not get the factory endplate to go over my commercial spec buffer tube not even close. It would trash the tube threads to even try…
Why couldn't they just make the 10round mag clip wider instead of longer to achieve the 20round Mag Clip, that way the mag clip stays short but still can increase mag size to 20, you could therefor have a chest belt with 4-5 compact mags with 80-100 rounds rather then thoes TOO LONG 20Round mag clips, a .22LR round is not that wide it can be done and still be relatively compact 20round mag.
Feel free to design such a proprietary mag, make it 99% reliable and then produce enough of them so they don't cost 60 a pop. And also sell enough of them, so they don't sit in a warehouse.
It's a 600 dollar Canadian 22. Can't expect much. For the price point it's great. My cz512 is great too but harder to get warm parts so I don't want to keep plinking with that one as it's set up for hunting.

Just bought a TM-22, in Canada.
April 2023.
Derya must've listened because my safety is not backwards. It's opposite of the one in this video.

Such a nice plinker! One of the best triggers I've ever seen on a 22

Just got mine a few days ago...same color and model...love, love, love it!!
This will be my next firearm purchase. Such a cool looking gun!
In the US rock island sells them but I haven't been able to find the full forend and adjustable stock, just the original version. I want one of the new model.
Will AR-15 hand guards fit the gun I have the Rock island TM 22 and would like to put a longer hand guard on it.
This is definitely on my wish list. Hearing nothing but good things about them.
Just bought one. Ran it today with some cci SV....i love it.
You need that comp to tame the recoil of the 22 coming out of a rifle length barrel ofc lol.
Of course! Was pretty rattled when we fired it without it... Almost flipped right off the table.

Got one a month ago and it eats everything! Even Winchester bulk 36gr hollow points. Which would only fire in my Rough Rider
How’s it been holding up? How’s the ammo it takes

Pretty accurate for a 22, nice rifle, the scope looks overkill?
My mama always told me, "Better overkill than no kill"
go big, or go home..!

I have a gen two, but the safety is reversed to yours. Is this a running production change for the gen two? I will note mine is tan.
can this be dry fired without damage like a ruger 10/22?
So it can take ar15 grip and barrel shroud but not stock?

Hello, what’s the thread size those ?
Click stingers make most 22 auto cycle better. That all I would run unless you using a can.
I'm not feeling that massive bipod on a tiny tactical 22. I find my canadian brothers tend to do very strange things.

how is the bipod mounted I'm new to ar style rifles
M-loc is the type of accessory rail.
I love Derya. Wish my MK12 wasn't banned! :/
Derya MK12 is an autoloading, box magazine-fed, AR-style shotgun. It is classified as NON-RESTRICTED in Canada
@@Rokonroller Wrong, Trudeau and his lacky bill blair made sure to get it on the list in the 2020 gun ban.

I like your buttstock w/ adjustable cheek rest. Where can I get one?
Stock looks very clumpy, magpul better. Shroud too long.
All that for a 22 cal 😆😂🤣
That is correct !
Why not. I got all the furniture I want on my TM22... .223 and .308 get the same treatment. Hell if I had the time I'd mod my damn pellet guns.
How is any of this legal? It's semi auto and holds more than 5 rounds....
the rifle went to daycare and has been trained to behave properly.
capacity limits do not apply to rim fire rifles. Pretty much any rimfire semi auto on the Canadian market has a capacity higher than 5 rounds.
If you know enough about guns to be concerned about such things... or deserve an opinion on the matter, I REALLY feel like you would be aware of the fact that there is no limit on rimfire capacity regardless of action type.
Lots of Canadians are so ignorant of firearm laws. Little bit of research will give u all the answers you need, it is not that complicated at all.
How did you pass your PAL again? Rimfire, magazine limits are all very clearly covered in the course.
Tempting...but financially challenged
16 inch barrel better.
Mags are ugly and super expensive. I'm interested
Crappy customer care
Or am I missing something that makes this rifle legal?
Rimfire.
No not really, just a regular ol' semi auto rimfire rifle..
