You guys crack me up. Reminds me of the old days in the big diesel shops. You literally couldn’t take your eyes off your build no matter what you were building. 😂😂😂
I love this stage 2 budget build stuff more than 3s and 4s. It's a 100x more practical and along the lines of what most riders will actually use to its fullest potential.
I run this exact combo except I used 222 cams instead of the 555 for more low end grunt as I do more 2 up riding on my limited. Also changing to the SE clutch spring diaphragm really helped with some slipping I had with all the new power.
Great to see the tc vids also. I love the monster builds, but in reality Its my 88 that I am looking to improve as much as I can without going overboard!
2014 FLHP with H-Ds thin liner 110 barrels and pistons, MVA heads (a gift), CVO cams (couldn't pass on the price), Fullsac header, canned tune: 95 hp, 109 lb/ft. After I swap in the TTS-100 cams and get a custom tune I'll post the results.
I am looking into putting a stage 2 high compression kit on my 2016 street glide as we speak I'm hoping for a lot of noticeability noticeability with the horse power
I staring to love this place, one guy pointing a air gun on to the boss the outer point the finger, and they still a life, I know where I get my shit done!!!
Cams with slip ons best bang for buck on an M8. What's the best bang for buck on a Twin Cam 103 Glide? I got a set of Wood 222's put aside, what else should go in with them for a "bolt on" budget build?
Call the shop and ask for Nick or Aaron 615-275-4170. You can also email us at horsepower@moonshineharley.com please include a good contact phone number.
smokeGR20 The 131 is designed to work very well with the parts it comes with. If we install our heads and cams we believe the cylinder wall thickness won’t hold up over time. That’s why we build the 124/128 setups, the cylinder is much stronger due to the extra wall thickness. We will have a 131 available this year and it will be the same cylinders we currently run but the Flywheel will have a little more stoke!!! If you have more specific questions call me at the shop. 615-274-4170 Jamie Lima - Moonshine H-D.
Can you please list the other parts you used. Like the tensioner, pushrod tubes, gaskets, etc. Part numbers would be amazing. I am going to attempt this same job in the garage. Please and thank you.
No. It is good practice to always check when the opportunity is present and there are times when it will not meet certain performance application tolerances. But actual out of spec readings or issues caused by excessive run-out are not common.
Great TH-cam channel ! Would you guys consider building a 2018 FLSL Softale Slim ??? There really not a lot of build on TH-cam on the M8 FLSL slim . keep up the great work Alex from NYC
@@ejohn2632 Man sorry to hear. I wanted so bad to go with a big crazy setup on my 03 bagger. Ended up just boring the cylinders .010 over and cam kit. Runs strong. By no means fast or even quick lol. But, strong and reliable is sometimes better way to go. I have a M8 softail also if I want more power even oem still. Only regret so far is keeping original heads oem just had them freshen up. Wish i had them sent out to get ported polished and beefed up. I hope ya get your bike sorted and it is just something simple.
Yes. Call the shop Tuesday - Saturday and ask for Aaron or Nick and they can go over it. Reference this build from TH-cam. You can also email the HP Team at horsepower@moonshineharley.com
There are a lot of factors that go into "price" such as the parts you may already have that we can continue to use. They are all different. Call us and we can get you a price for yours.

M.V.O _Motorfast I had basically the same build on my twin cam with the SE 585 cam. Made 97/117. Ran great and sounded awesome. Now I have a M8 124 made 130/147 but does not sound as good as my twin cam.
i hope we can get more twin cam combos and video builds....love it
Keep the twinkie builds coming! Some of us aren't ready to spend metric 8 money.
Thanks for the twin cam build guys, it seems like ever since the m8 came out that's all you see
norman matura It seems that way. We still build some cool twin cams but not at the volume we once did. They still rock though.
More twin cam builds please. Love the videos
You guys are awesome. Can you PLEASE show more twin cam builds, preferably cam chest projects? Keep up the great content, fellas.
We will.
@@NoName-vz1ob what kind of compression is this set up producing? 10.5:1? 10.2:1? How much compression can the 555's generally handle?

The andrew's triple 555 the bike will be real torque'e. A couple of buddies have the set-up it runs real good.

What would the difference be on this build if you used the woods 777 cam instead?
What does a build like this run? Have a ‘14 ultra I’m eventually wanting to get freshened with some more power
Keep them builds coming

Opinion on the HD 131 crate...can you expand on what else you should do.if you install this much power in a stock bike...the next weakest link

Cool build. Diggin the jambs in the background 🤘🏻
Can you elaborate on the pinion gear, I've shimmed
them tight with a piece of feeler gauge but would like to know where to buy the one you are using.
You can buy it from us 😉 (I had to put in the shameless plug)
Just discovered you guys I'll be driving down from ohio to have you work on my bike!
What’s the cost of this budget build? Very interested
Do you guys have some one in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area to recommend? Cant get down south for this stuff.
Not in that area. It's too cold up there! We can ship though....
Is this build that Harley “stage3 in a box” kit or just the high compression pistons and cam job? Thx
Twin cams matter...
Love the vids!!! Great comradery!

Hey guys when you say High compression motor, what does that consist of? Is it just pistons?
Twin cam for life mine is paid for and twin cam hits a better lick than M8

Why not the S&S oil pump?

I'm guessing 5 racks plus tax

9hp and 7tq for 4k 🧐 something isn’t adding up.
Evo engine over either Twinkie or M8 in my opinion...
Shovelhead for more power and better sound tho.

Meanwhile the guy who owns the bike they’re working on is getting charged upwards of $100 an hour labor.
I guess he could of bought a Honda and had it built. 😂🤣 Honda’s labor rate is still 100.
All that work for a whooping 9HP gain, oh I forgot its a HD!
While you try and convince everyone why your Yammy Davidson is fat superior...
Just a bunch of clowns. No wrenching here.
