I was just about to buy a special hackintosh pcie wifi card based on the recommendations on some official hackintosh sites when I came across this video. I had had an old cheap spare TP-Link usb wifi adapter laying around and deciced to try it and it worked.

Consistently get "installation failed" when installing on a recent model Intel iMac running Ventura.
Unfortunately it does not work with AOYOOL AC1300 with Ventura 13.1 😞

It works on my mac but i just can connect to my wifi at home which is wpa2 personal, i cannot connect to wifi in my uni, i check that it is wpa2 enterprise, can someone help me how to connect to my uni wifi please.

So, the 'notarized' version of the driver has the how to disable SIP process, but it's the same driver as V7?
I was hoping not to have to recovery boot and all that, and just find one that runs with SIP.
You only have to disable SIP to install the driver, then you can enable it again.
So i installed the normal drivers on my hackintosh and now it doens't boot anymore.. is there a way to install these drives from the clover boot screen or something? maybe it overrides the other one and it will reboot normally?

@@BartechTV I cannot get the installer to run without an error. this is both with SIP on and off.
@@BartechTV Are you on Apple Silicon or Intel? Th installation seems to work on my M1 max MacBook pro but under the new menu it just says "No USB Wifi plug in. I have the TP link Archer T3U connected

For handoff and continuity you need a native Mac Wifi/BT board from a real Mac with an adapter, or a PCI card based on the same Broadcom Chipset like the Fenvi T919.

Only T3U and T3U Plus are listed as compatible, not T3U Nano.

You need to disable SIP, install the driver, then re-enable SIP. The instructions can be found at github.com/chris1111/Wireless-USB-Big-Sur-Adapter/discussions/159

It works on any computer running macOS, whether it's a hackintosh or a real Mac. It only doesn't work on Apple Silicon macs with an M1 or M2 processor.
does Air drop work with it? does air drop work with any usb wifi adapter in the market?
Airdrop only works with a PCIe Wi-Fi card using the same Broadcom chipset that’s used in real Macs, like the Fenvi T919. No USB Wi-Fi dongles work with Airdrop.

Bro theirs tplink ub version with Bluetooth and wifi both can u try that too
The TP-Link UB500 works in macOS but it's just a Bluetooth dongle, there's no WiFi.

No. For Airdrop you need a native Apple Wifi/BT card like the Fenvi T919, BCM94360NG or BCM943602CS+adapter. This USB dongle will get you working WiFi, that's all.

Not at this time. Only Intel Macs or hackintosh.
