For donations under $2,500, we invite you to donate to the Venn Foundation house fund in support of Venn's PRI to Santa Barbara Nutrients. The best way to ensure that all of your donation will go toward the PRI is to mail a physical check to Venn Foundation at 1900 Bohland Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55116. For donations under $500, you can also use Venn Foundation's Paypal link (click here and select "Santa Barbara Nutrients" from the menu). Please be advised that there is a 2-3% transaction fee when using Paypal, which will decrease the amount of money going to Santa Barbara Nutrients.

For donations of $2,500 and above, there are two options. First, you may make a donation to Venn Foundation's house fund in support of Venn's PRI to Santa Barbara Nutrients as described above. Second, you can set up your own donor-advised fund account with Venn Foundation for free (no fee), donate money into that account, and then recommend a distribution to Venn's PRI to Santa Barbara Nutrients. The key benefit of the second option is that if/when Venn's PRI receives a financial return from Santa Barbara Nutrients, then your pro-rata share will go back into your account and you personally can recommend redeployment of those dollars into new PRIs or grants.

I've been on a self-directed ketogenic treatment for rapidly failing ADPKD kidneys for over 3 years. I take KetoCitra and have applied most of the interventions mentioned here. My kidneys and cardiovascular health improved to "normal" function. There is hope now for this previously thought of as an untreatable disease. Cheers

Out of curiosity. How strict are you with your keto? Do you ever have a cheat meal or are more flexible when you travel?

My GFR dropped to 45 in November of 2023. I went through the Ren Nu class Q1 of 2024 and diligently followed the modified Keto protocol while taking Keto Citra and my GFR went to 67 by Mid March! My blood pressure meds had to be lowered, and I lost weight and experienced overall well being. It worked for me.

Were the beneficial effects seen in methionine restriction because of lower total amino acids or lower IGF one or what.

Unfortunately, due to customs issues SBN cannot ship to Spain at the moment. SBN has not had issues with shipping to Germany, France, or Portugal if you happen to have any contacts that could intercept there?

@@Juancar23 good question. It may be possible for you to have it mailed to someone you know in another country and have them send it on to you....I have no idea if that would work through customs. There have been people who have done that, order it to someone in the States and have them send it on to them.
