It takes balls to stand up in front of high schoolers of his generation and use an instrument to play actual music! More power to the free thinking young metal head
I mean, Wednesday Addams just kinda took the world by storm for playing the cello, gen Z seems to embrace peer performers pretty well. Still props to young duder shredding nonetheless
He’s already popular by the sound of it. There aren’t “metal heads” and “motorheads” and nerds and goths and all that anymore because all of those things have been played out in so many movies that it’s perfectly conformist to be any of those things and still be friends with whomever.
@@theoneandonly4464 she???
He even has a badass 80’s metal haircut.
God bless you and Jesus loves you, RED WELDER
I love how supportive the crowd is 🙏 not all appreciate & uplift others for their talents. And this is pretty mind blowing just HOW much talent this dude has! This is professional level guitar playing 🙏
Cc Deville fans apparently
Professional level guitar playing lmaooooo. Kids good, but let's be realistic. This is "im the best player at my small high-school" level playing. Like... give the kid his well deserved props, but stop meat riding.
everything from how he just has that confidence and the way he knows how to deliver a good performance is honestly inspiring
This kid missed his generation by about 40 years… You F’ing ROCK bro!
Alot of us feel that way.
It's amazing what gifts God gives his children! God is good! Keep rockin buddy!
It's called practice.
Yeah.. God.. 😂😂😂😂
If that's what God gives as gifts then he can keep it.
Everything good comes from the Father above. @@Roman-li8zy
This young man is going places!! Stay clean brother and live your passion!!!
I love how he has the 70s, 80s hairstyle.
The 20th century was the best like no joke I want to go back in time and re live it again.
Amen Brother
Everyone tries to say rock and roll is dead, but there are still great bands out there. And high school kids like this inspire me that there is still a future. And that the backstory of Rush's 2112 album might not be fictional, after all!
ROCK N ROLL will never die. Long live ROCK!
Holy crap!!!
This kid can play, like for real. I so hope he goes far if that’s what he chooses. There’s a band that needs him
If this kid didn't win!!...Sheesh! Beautiful playing and loved his subtle showmanship also. Great job man! !🤘🤙
❤ seeing young musicians use the old school ways. He’s incredible ! You gotta know he’s going to be in the mainstream soon 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Probably won't get much further than playing in a local cover band, to be honest. But that's fulfilling enough for most musicians. You'd be surprised how many thousands of kids can play guitar like this. Emulation is one thing. Can he write a song?
I love that because of stranger things you can throw master of puppets toward the end now and make the crowd go INSANE from recognizing the song. That was almost finale worthy
Yes, young man. Amazing. Run with that talent honey. You have a very bright future ahead of you.❤
This is great! I know Master, never watched Stranger I’m a musician of 30+ years watching this young musician just rock and he’s loving it. Black guitar, huge amps a Ramon’s look alike with Chuck Taylors on, old school look and feel finally, instead of bro country, rap crap…love it keep rocking kid.. not enough of you out there.
I thought he had a little Page thing going on.
You bringing back the style of the early 80's and rocking it on your guitar is outstanding.I'm 65 and still love rock 'n 'Roll.
Good job thanks dude.🤟.
I'm 64 and I still love rock and roll too.
@@davidb8397 ✌️.thanks.
This guitar 🎸guru decimated it. Stage presence, insanely talented and the black Chuck Taylor's were a nice touch! 👌The kid is going far! Bravo!
This kid is not only so very talented musically but he is a born performer. His engaging the students in the stand definitely speaks to him being born to do this. Keep it alive brother!!!
This is the standing ovation I wanted to hear from a younger crowed with this genre. I just wished there was more people there
The more things change… this kid wouldn’t be out of place with my metal head friends of the class of 1982. He looks like he could be the twin brother of our class guitar player. Rock on brother 🤘🏽
Kid shows up with a John 5 Telecaster. If you know what guitar that is, you knew exactly where this was going. Good job, Lad.
This kid has that raw talent, a rock band should sign him!!!
Dude legit brought back man-bangs from the 80’s. YES! 🙌
I started as a kiss fan in the 70s, I lived the 80s as it happened, played drums all through the 90s , in bands and I always wished I could find a guy like this! ...he's got it! and just look at his reach around the neck with those long ass fingers, (wish I could've had a guitarist like him) .
it is increasingly rare to see young people playing guitar with such dexterity!🤘🤘🤘
It's just not the most popular form of music anymore. Times are constantly changing
Clearly, the talent is overflowing, but can we just talk about that showmanship? Love it!
On a telecaster… my favourite, respect!
Looks like it might be a John 5 Telecaster.
@@jeffgarland6962 Chrome pickguard, humbuckers and a killswitch. Definitely a John 5 Telecaster.
Applause for this gentleman's Mom and Dad!...You obviously did something right!👍
With the cheers emanating from the audience, it was then he knew he hit the big time, therefore the epic “flick of the pick “ was only crucial. 😂
The kid is amazing. My nephew isn't far out of high school and plays drums. He plays rock and roll from the 70s and 80s.
Telecaster AGAIN. They do play great. This guy is the hope for the world. Great job!We love you!!!
Excellent performance, you are a ripper young man. We definitely need more of our kind on this planet. Well done.! 🏆
This kid is awesome! I grew up in the 80's and wanted to be this dude so bad and could only dream of doing this during a talent show. Keep rockin brother!
The fact that this guy can shred like that into different songs is still amazing to this day. ❤
🤘🏻 not a talent show without this guy.
He WAS the show
Shredding so young, brings a tear to my eye and swells me with hope for the future of rockers!!!!
Jordan by Buckethead is an awesome pick you had as an opener followed up by the intros of Nirvana's Smells like teen spirit, Ozzy Osbourne's crazy train, and some of Metallica's Master of Puppets!
Man I am in awe. This kid is one of the best I've had the pleasure to listen to ever. EVER
That put a smile on my face, there's a future for metal! 🤘
HELL YEAH!!! I love seeing the younger kids these days getting into metal, it swells my heart!
That's probably from bacon In Your diet
Makes my booty itch
Fucking Dime! Van Halen! Forever
Fist seconds, a killswitch on a tele, Buckethead tune!?!
Ok, the guy hooked me!
To be able to play at this level, at this age is... Nearly fucking beyond comprehension. That kid is going to destroy some expectations.
Thank you for all of the people who encouraged this young man in his astounding gift!
Damn. This is natural talent paired with I’m guessing countless hours of practice. This kid loves what he does and it shows. Ridiculously impressive.
Totally awesome job! ! !
A few *short* breaks to give the audience time to cheer would be a HUGE momentum generator.
Play to the crowd ; )
They loved you, let them show you and play off that love!
His choices of music and ability to play each one with such badassery gives me hope for the future!
Awesome! I couldn’t look away! 🎉
Very good. He played his crowd as well as he played his guitar. I love watching guitarists/bands that look like they are having FUN. Eddie Van Halen for example. But yeah, he's got it going on. Right down to the hair flip at the end. Haha! Funny AND talented! Go get em young rocker! And take my advice, stay away from table saws 😬
As an 80’s metal head and now an old man…you got my heart proud kid! Enough to comment on a year old post…never stop rockin on! This goes for all of ya! 🤘🏼
