I agree that is stripped down talent, but he had a stage show with smoke and lights, was moving a lot more than people normally do, and was using a looper pedal. This could not be done anytime before the fifties, and not easily (by some kid in his bedroom) before the 2000's.
@@streamofconsciousness5826he’s also playing to a backing track, a lot of the sounds you are hearing he is not making himself live. Unless he has his laptop on stage to do homework with?
Always sounds condescending when people say this, but truly, most people don’t realize what they witnessed. This guy is easily one of the best guitarists I’ve ever seen.
Marcin even changed the tuning so that he could link different pieces together that normally he would not have been doing back to back. Genius level work. He's adorable. 😊🎉❤❤
I just saw Marcin in concert in Poland three hours ago, sitting in the second row next to the stage! Most amazing concert I've ever seen, and I'm 66 years old! I was just watching his fingers in awe for over an hour.
I could be wrong, but there could be some backtracks pre-recorded of him playing some of the effects while he plays LIVE most of the melodies. He is VERY talented and he can do it, but the quality of the audio is just TOO balanced as he moves around and when you work with live microphones, you know that sometimes some Movements will not be as balanced because they would move away from the microphone’s “peak capture”. But like I said (I could be wrong). He is definitely very skilled.
@@MichaelOrtega The sound engineering of mics is not a problem, as the guitar is plugged in. There is a whole floor board present, so probably should have some effect. All in all, that swift retuning seems like the most impressive part! ;)
@@MichaelOrtegahe’s using what’s called a looper. He’s not using prerecorded backing tracks, he’s actually recording those backing tracks live in the performance, then he steps on a pedal to trigger that recorded guitar part to loop itself. As the guitar part plays underneath and loops, he’s free to play more guitar parts over it. So your thinking is close but it’s all generated in real time, not prerecorded.
Love that they support a single, underdog, amazing artist instead of the boring same ole halfshow. So gifted and mind blowing. Thank you for the accelerated heartbeats!💓
Guarantee 90% of the audience doesn't even realize the talent this young man delivered. Well, I say play. Play for the 10% and let them be entertained by your talent.
I see what you mean, but I guarantee you that 90% is way too high. And 10% I think is more like the portion of people who knew that he was only giving the illusion of making all the sounds by himself, but who despite that still understand how much raw talent they have witnessed. He is a very good young guitar player!
Hard to blame them when they don't have a proper audio setup. The recorded version sounds great on headphones and complements the live video footage well.
This is literally how it is with any top level professional. Unless you are yourself semi - advanced in that field you can't fathom the difficulty. This goes for rock climbing, boxing, chess, violin, anything with a high skill ceiling really

Music is a language that everyone understands . It is the first thing that brought our ancestors together to experience entertainment . It is deeply connected to every society over the globe and part of those cultures . I play guitar now and then , but I wouldn´t refer to myself as a musician. The NBA should send him on halftime tour throughout the season. This dude is AMAZING! Hands down maybe the best I’ve ever seen & his style is original. PAY THIS MAN!
His style isn't that original, few guitar players I've seen that use the whole guitar like this. He is definitely one of the best I've seen though.
For the people saying he can’t play clean in live 😂

So refreshing to see real talent without all those distractions!
Right?! so much more awe-inspiring than a super bowl half time commercial band
I agree that is stripped down talent, but he had a stage show with smoke and lights, was moving a lot more than people normally do, and was using a looper pedal.
This could not be done anytime before the fifties, and not easily (by some kid in his bedroom) before the 2000's.

Always sounds condescending when people say this, but truly, most people don’t realize what they witnessed. This guy is easily one of the best guitarists I’ve ever seen.
Check out Tim henson, Ichika Nito, and Alip Ba Ta if you want to go down the prodigal guitarist rabbit hole.
What about the OG Andy McKee and Sungha Jung
If that's true, then you haven't seen the Shaggs.
He takes being a guitarist to a whole new level. He defies the preconceived boundaries of art.

Congratulations on finding success doing what you love
when you got talent, it just shows! no fancy clothes, no back up dancers, just pure performance!!! AMAZING! Now I wanna watch u perform live👏👏👏👏
Its refreshing to see professional sports give someone with actual musical talent a chance to perform for once
Lol...I kept expecting a wardrobe malfunction
I just saw Marcin in concert in Poland three hours ago, sitting in the second row next to the stage! Most amazing concert I've ever seen, and I'm 66 years old! I was just watching his fingers in awe for over an hour.
Oh wow!!!!!
The way bro stripped the cords at 1:19 💀 will leave a permanent scar on my mind
Rare that someone exudes such such joy at their own talent and yet remains humble.
Wow 🤯 I'm a lifelong guitar player, and it's rare to see someone that blows my mind. And that young man did exactly that.
You’re so cool
No way this young man has this level of skill. That was amazing. Dude is a prodigy.
All in all, that swift retuning seems like the most impressive part! ;)
@@MichaelOrtegahe is plugged in
@@MichaelOrtegahe’s using what’s called a looper.
@@Galileistat which point do you think he’s looping? I couldn’t find any
Love that they support a single, underdog, amazing artist instead of the boring same ole halfshow. So gifted and mind blowing. Thank you for the accelerated heartbeats!💓
Guarantee 90% of the audience doesn't even realize the talent this young man delivered. Well, I say play. Play for the 10% and let them be entertained by your talent.
Seems.. almost like that is what he did. Crowd seems to have enjoyed it to me.
I see what you mean, but I guarantee you that 90% is way too high.
And 10% I think is more like the portion of people who knew that he was only giving the illusion of making all the sounds by himself,
but who despite that still understand how much raw talent they have witnessed.
