The other contestants listen to him and accept the fact that this guy has spent hundreds of hours locked in his bedroom practicing scales and arpeggios. They recognize the pure talent through self sacrifice. Just hard work. Just like studying for hours to have an exam. But this guy gives pleasure to all of his audience. An algebra test just ain't the same.

Thank you so much! All of what you said is completely true. For almost 8 years now, I’ve locked myself up in my room practicing until I nail what I try to practice. Which does sound depressing now that I think about it, but I was willing to choose passion over friendship. I knew if I fully dedicated myself to music, I knew that it would affect my social skills, making friends and even keeping friends. After all of this amazing support, I don’t regret any second of it!

@@arturogarduñoguitar I think it's awesome that you have such amazing drive and passion for music. However I think you should also keep maintaining relationships as a priority. Please don't take this as me hating on you, or telling you to give up your dreams because that's genuinely not what I'm saying. I think you're a beast at guitar and you should never underestimate your talent. Just don't let it keep you from socializing and creating memories/relationships with people. I promise there's room for both.

But he's also probably thinking, "C'mon young fella ... take it to the next level". Stay true to his legacy, take what he gave us and use it as inspiration to create something new. We all stand on the shoulders of the giants that came before us so that we can see a little further than they could. Best Wishes to you from the Land Down Under :)
