- Using the Universal Waite Tarot Deck, Kira (kirawoods.com) explores the meaning and interpretation of the suit of cups with this video reviewing the court cards. This video includes a description of the Page of Cups Tarot Card Meaning, Knight of Cups Tarot Card Meaning, Queen of Cups Tarot Card Meaning and King of Cups Tarot Card Meaning. The Court Cards lead our way into the Minor Arcana aka "pip". The Cups are the Water Element of the Tarot. As fire is the symbol of the Spirit Life Force giving life to the Universe, then Water signifies the love that opens and nourishes the soul to receiving that force. Just like when the sun draws a seed out of the ground with readiness to grow only when water softens and nourishes that seed does it grow. The Water (the love, nourishment, compassion, imagination, joy, peace, harmony and wonder of the Cups) is an essential key to all life, growth and the realization of the power of love to manifest all things in our Spiritual (Major Arcana) and physical (Minor Arcana) experience of our human existence.

I have been using Tarot for about a year now. I would like to eventually read professionally. I’m still learning while also practicing for my close family and friends for free until I feel more confident in my abilities. I read for myself as well, however I am not as accurate because my emotions are involved and it’s hard to remain objective.
Recently, asked for a dream to offer some guidance I’m regards to my relationship with my husband.
There were three tarot cards presented to me in my dream :
The Page of Cups, The Wheel of Fortune…and I forgot the last one… 😭 my 5 year old came and woke me up and I had to go to his room to get him settled down again.
I typically write my dreams down before I get out of bed because I will forget them as soon as my feet touch the floor!!
I haven’t really tried to interpret that dream because I feel like I need to remember the last card in my dream!

Don't worry about not remembering the last card. When you need to know it will return. Focus on tbe other two and feel how the energy of them together is guiding you. Hi Kira! I recently got the Tower followed by Knight of Cups. What do you think it means?
Look at how the energy of the Tower card resonates with your situation or question and then feel how your heart wants to help heal that, move that forward for you. Reflect what your heart, inner wisdom and emotions highlight as important for here is your positive path, bright light forward from the shift, change transition in motion. Embrace the change its in motion and see the light forward with the King of cups walking with you.
Unlike the conventional playing cards - in Tarot, doesn't the Queen trump the King? and the Page or Knight is equivalent to the "Jack" and the other is like a "high" Ace Card that trumps everything in the suit?
No the queen doesn't trump the King nor vice versa. They have completely different roles when used to the highest. Yes the Knight would be like a Jack if you used a standard playing deck as a Tarot deck which some cultures do. Either way you would relate as Tarot card energy not playing card energy. Hence the same with the Ace meaning in Tarot. Well thats my feeling. 🙏
