The truth we need to see, the magic, can not shine the light on our meaning and value in life until we have learned to recognize the full truth, whatever pain it brings.

An observation I just made about the 8 of Swords is that none of the swords are touching the person who is bound, and it occurred to me that it could represent someone missing the Divine Messages being thrown down from Heaven.
My intuition is saying that if the Sword was piercing the person in the 8 of Swords, such as in the 10 of Swords card, the message would be coming through from Heaven.
In the 9 of swords, the Swords are hanging over the person's head and bed (representing sleep disturbances), also not piercing them, but the thoughts or Diving Messages are looming large in the mind.
Tarot is so deep and complex, and so full of symbology, once we learn the "code" on how to read the cards.

Thanks for your message and kind words. I'm in the middle of moving and packing and life's a bit crazy so I can't give you a really detailed answer at this time but I may return later after my move and had some quiet time to ponder and perhaps add a little more. You questions are most interesting and I love receiving questions that give me a chance for more depth of reflection into my own understanding and Insights for my own practice. With that said I guess what I'm saying is that these are just my thoughts and what comes to me and I really encourage you to sit and reflect and listen to your intuition as to what you think . this imagery is saying to you. I'm immediately drawn to the general meaning of the Nine of swords and think about posture revealing had trouble sleeping Hurd distress coming from her thoughts or her unconscious and I look at the blanket and I realise that the blanket with the red roses is bright and perhaps it is revealing that if she looks at the situation from another perspective if she opens her eyes and looks around her environment perhaps there are some answers to be found that would assist her. I'm sure there are a lot more relationship references to it being a rose and it being read and you could add a whole other day about the fact it's red thinking about that colour and maybe you if you look online just purely seeking for imagery references to the red rose and the colour red you might add another layer of yourself. As for the markings on the bed I cannot really see them unfortunately from my phone and I'm unable to find get my cards and ponder any longer so I would say maybe take a copy purely of those symbols and see again you can find about that imagery as I find every card and it imagery colour etc has a purpose and depth of meaning I'm sure you will find some insight as to why they were chosen as the imagery within this card. Hi Kira. Thank you so much for responding. You know, I have been studying Tarot for about 6 years now. I have noticed that once I am no longer uncomfortable or conflicted by a certain card, I notice something new either an image or insight. Just yesterday I realized that the blanket in the nine of swords has images of all the horoscopes as well!!! Best of luck on your new relocation.
