Exactly opposite of install. Unhook everything, loosen bolts 1/4 turn each in opposite sequence of tightened, then loosen them all up, take them out and carefully pry it off.
Any chance you can either link us to the removal procedure in the beginning that was cut out, or link us to the full episode so we can look for ourselves? I'm at the point where I think I can use the pry bar, but not 100% sure I have everything disconnected.
@@thumbresin If I remember correctly, there was one bolt towards the firewall that was hard to see. I've since sold the car so sorry I can't help further.
@@beetnlegz I finally got it, there was one bolt that was tucked back underneath a bracket that I didn't see. Took that one out and it came right off. My intake seems to be different than all the ones I seen here also so that makes it even harder, There were I believe 13 bolts plus there is some kind of hose in the back that I think I broke trying to get it off. Hopefully I can find a replacement for it.

I took mine off a few weeks ago but there was a bunch of built-up sludge down in the chambers could that be from a head gasket leak?

I'm having trouble myself in my 01 mustang
I am also at this point, removed all the bolts from the top but it still will not budge. I'm sure there is more to removing it than those 8 bolts.

Also I didn't pry hard enough out of fear I'd break something. Mine was on there pretty good.
