    You can also program the seat belt chime so it doesn't come on. I forgot the steps, but it should be in the owner's manual (no tools or programmers needed). This is for anyone who wishes to drive without their seal belts on for extended periods of time *at their own risk*.

    • @XanderMeisman
      @XanderMeisman  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I never knew that! It's crazy how many little things you can do with these older Fords that a lot of people don't really think about. Mine is already set off so it doesn't go off and make that awful chime anymore.

    In mopars after 95, you can turn the key on and off a couple of times and leave it on, it will tell you any DTCs on the digital odometer.

      I have an 04, but mines the 3.9(40th anniversary edition).
      Just crossed over 324k miles the other day. Have had it since 11 miles off the lot!

    On that digital speedometer will it read higher than the analog? My speedometer says 150 I can Peg my analog and the car still increases speed but I don't know how fast I'm going.

    Dude. This is badass!! Had my 00 GT 5 years and never knew. Question is will the 93 Lightning do the same? I'll let you know haha

    • @georgemccraw
      @georgemccraw 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Lightning has 2 buttons. Select and reset. If you hold reset it'll do something similar. The speedometer sweeps, then you can click select to move through 0-9 on the odometer on all digits.
