The iPhone 14 Plus is a great phone in its own right, granted the phones were primarily a set up for majority of consumers to spend the extra money on the Pro and Pro Max models. For me personally, I'm enjoying the iPhone 14 Plus the camera is good, battery is superb and honestly it's great for media consumption, and I've had no issues as far as gaming experience.

I picked up a 14 plus and I still have my 13 pro. The 120 hrz is not a deal breaker. I use that portable Apple charger with the 14+ and the phone last for 3-4 days of heavy usage.
My 14 Plus is my favorite iPhone in a long time. I always used the Plus models and I never liked how heavy the Pro Max models are.
Most everyone that’s criticizing this phone r the ones that haven’t used it.
I pretty much just got my 14 plus for the battery life, the larger screen is great too but I loooove the battery life

Returned my s22 plus for the 14 plus and don’t regret it. The s22 plus while great had weak battery life.
To me, It is absolutely worth it in 2023 because September 2022 was just 5 months ago and not 5 years ago! And I just upgraded to 14Plus from 8 and I totally love it.
Also I like how light the 14 plus is compared to the pro and pro max. They are just way too heavy. I have friends who got the 14 pro and after seeing my 14 plus they got one too. Even though it’s bigger than pro it’s not as heavy. Pro may have a better camera but for some ppl it’s not a deal breaker.
just a slab that should cost no more than 500 euro for what it offers, 13 Pro have advanced 120hz screens and way more versatile camera setups
Lol…120 hz isn’t all that and not noticeable to the average user. Like I mentioned before, not everyone cares about having the “best camera” or all the extra stuff they will most likely never use. I do feel the phone is over priced but all of apples iphones are over priced imo. I have a 14 plus, I know ppl who have one. We all love it 🤷🏻♀️ i like the big screen. I have awful eye sight and I am prone to migraines. It’s a good phone for me and my friends. It fits our “basic” needs. To each their own.

My husband is a die hard Samsung person. I’m not. That being said, People don’t have to buy iPhones. I like the OS on iPhones better than android though, so I keep coming back. it is what it is.

Switched from iPhone 13 mini to the 14 Plus. Love it but shocked my battery health dropped from 100% to 99% in 4 weeks. I’ve had a lot of iPhones & never had a battery health drop under 100% so soon.
That is pretty soon. I’m not saying it’s anything you did obviously, but I noticed my 13 dropped real quick when I Would let it get below 20% then charge it up to 100%. Maybe that might help.
I give you a tip to make the health of the battery last longer (I also own 14 plus). Never charge it above 85%, charge it when it's at 20%. Of course, it doesn't have to go to 0% or 100%. When I go to sleep the battery is usually at 30% charge, so I turn off the phone, and in the morning when I wake up I turn it back on and let it charge up to 80/85/90%. but never at 100% / 0%. Obviously sometimes it can reach 100%/0%, but there is no need to worry as long as it is a few times. Use only the original Apple charger with its adapter and do not use wireless charging which heats up the phone and therefore the heat leads to deterioration of the battery.
@@meni1cm I have switched to mostly using an iPad. I have the optimized battery charging setting on. Unfortunately I was using a apple approved Belkin wireless charger. I feel heat from that started the degradation of my battery. It got quite hot. Thank you for the tips

I think you did a good job with this video you didn’t trash The iPhone 14 plus like most people have unfortunately calling it names and saying it’s not good enough but for the price it is what it is. I bought the 14 plus after having the iPhone 12 mini and the iPhone 11 iPhone 8 Plus so I’ve had a few iPhones in my time this phone here by far is the best one out of all of them. People want to compare the iPhone 13 Pro Max to this one here because the price is the same or the pixel 7 pro because the price is the same but with people not realize that it’s the same because either one has went down in price from the year before making the phone being a year older. If someone wants to buy anything, that’s their choice and having people slam and degrade their purchase just shows them how people really are you did a great job on the video. Do you want to go to work? I enjoy watching them.

@@taenichi176 well I game but with light games not heavy games like call of duty or apex such and such, I did find myself playing fifa mobile for over an hour and I only lost 3-5 percent within that hour, but for stand by time (phone off) you have 20 hours but if you use it for the whole day, it’ll last 11-13 hours on how you use it

Came from android to the iPhone 14 plus my first apple device ever my Samsung S22+ will go to my girlfriend iOS takes a bit to get used to got to tell you i really like the iPhone battery life is better than my S22+ but if you're not Touchy about battery life the S22+ will work well for you still all day battery life and fast 120hz refresh rates bright screen resolution fast device and I really don't have any thing against android OS and Samsung is the only way to with android iPhone fold all day long battery life is very good on my iPhone 14 plus I'm very happy with it! They totally could have added it to the power button like the iPad mini 6, and I don't understand why iPhone didn't just do the same thing with the new phones.
I actually traded my 13 pro max for the 14 plus. I loved the 13 pro max But it was a brick in my pocket. Don’t need all the bells and whistles of the pro max. This is the last iPhone I’m buying for a while. I usually get the latest iPhone.Completely satisfied with this phone

Enjoying my large and in charge but light 14 Plus and I didn't choose it to SAVE money... could have bought any one of them. It made the most sense to me despite all the "shoulda got a 13 PM comments"... "NOT!"

Some people keep their old iPhone longer and some people don’t see a different in a iPhone they will not buy it and most people will go and buy one of older iPhones

For me its like more than 700+ gap btw 14plus and 14 pro max here in india cause non pro phones are manufactured here but the pro lineup are still imported from china and Vietnam….so yeah that’s a huge difference

Let's compare it to the pixel 7 pro since they're basically the same price. I don't think this holds up
Only some people look for the same thing in a phone, and most people buying an iPhone want iOS, not Android, at least 80%. It is more about what iPhone you want for the vast majority, and the iPhone 14 Plus is a great alternative, especially for older people that do not want all the bells and whistles but like a large light phone with great battery life.
I never would consider an android for the long haul. Each one I’ve ever had, including Samsung flagships crapped out on me before they were paid off. I take excellent care of my phones. My iPhones have all lasted many years and never died. I always resell them after I upgrade for hundreds. iPhones are just better quality in my experience, and have better support as well as resale value.
I don't like iphone. Lightening cable breaks too often. I had to buy new one many times.

@@dwights1024 please do remember that the mini screen is bigger than the older 6,7 and 8 plus versions. The newer phone sizes has become ridiculous. I can settle for the regular iPhone versions, but the max and the new plus are just to big for normal day hideaway in one’s pocket.

I disagree with this review. This phone is a cash grab from apple. You are better off buying a refurbished iPhone 13 Pro Max for this price
Not everyone is getting this year iPhones it is a normal person keep their old iPhone longer me and my nephew got IPhone 12 June of last year and we going to get one of iPhone 15 series next year and some people do a unboxing one of IPhone 14 series it is not their phone

Sue Apple for soldering the SSDs onto the mac Motherboard making it very difficult and pricy to repair and overcharging way too much for storage and RAM and doing shady RAM and Storage management among other things. (SSD Swap even on 16GB with just a few Chrome tabs open)
Hello. It is time we gang up on Apple and SUE them for choosing to solder the SSDs onto the Mac Motherboards since 2016. On top of that, they also overcharge 3x-4x the price per TeraByte compared to top SSD manufacturers like Samsung, Sabrent, Kingston, Western Digital, Seagate, and so on. 2TB (non Replaceable) SSD @ Apple ---> 600$-800$. At the same time if u go on Amazon you can get a 2TB (easily replaceable) Samsung 980PRO SSD for 200-230$.
- When the SSD Fails.. and it will eventually, they will also overcharge you for the repair, because guess what, if you need it replaced, the way they go about it is by replacing the whole motherboard which is an absolutely wasteful way to do it. Imagine replacing so many parts when you could've just replaced the SSD. But they want YOUR MONEY (As much as they can get their claws on).
- RAM: they charge 400$ for 32GB and 800$ for 64GB of RAM. At the same time, you can go on Amazon and pick up 32GB of DDR5 for 140-155$ and 64GB of DDR5 for 260$-300$ (Replaceable)
- They also do some shady stuff with RAM management: if you get 16GB of their overpriced RAM and monitor your SSD swap Memory, you’ll notice that the macs write a lot of GB to the SSD like 16GB isn’t enough for a couple of chrome tabs. Disgraceful…. ( what I’m aiming at is that they’ll most likely make your non-replaceable-soldered SSD go bad sooner than later… good luck getting a humane price for the repair.
- And last but not least, I don't know exactly what they do but they fill your Mac and iPhone with not-so-specific files that you can't quickly discover and delete, thus making your storage fill up quicker. Basically, they're forcing your hand and your wallet to buy the bigger storage option (which is overpriced, to begin with as stated at point 1). I just had to delete apps on my iPhone because when I go into Settings/General/iPhone Storage and click on any App, I can't access/open any Apps' "Documents&Data" just so I can see what is taking up so much space and actually delete all that data that's uselessly filling up my storage.
Apple products are made well and are very shiny and pleasant to the touch and to use. All they have to do is stop making those shady decisions behind the curtains. But they always make those shady decisions until enough People start making noise about it or a Higher Authority decides to step in and force them to comply (to behave like good human beings). For example, the EU stepped in and forced them to implement USB-C. Apple's Lightning connector was a nice connector until 2014 until the USB-C connector came along... and yet it's 2022 and if you get a nearly 2000$ iPhone, you still get a Lightning connector on it (USB2.0 speeds: 480Mbps/60MBs per second). up until now, Apple has proven that it is in their Essence to not think about their users, to not listen to them, and to always try to squeeze as much money as possible, borderline robbing you until people start to catch on and speak up and even when they do speak up, Apple always tries to stand their ground with their shady business practices.
We must take action. Seriously. Either ask higher authorities to step in and Force Apple to clean up their act or we just collectively stop buying Apple products. Keep in mind that apple decided to remove the Headphone Jack and soon after the industry followed them instead of standing their ground. ( Keep in mind that apple sells wired earpods for 20-25$ but sells their Airpods for 250$. (I wonder why they took out the Headphone Jack...) so just because they are wireless the price difference is roughly 1200%. I would never buy their wireless earbuds because I see it as their greedy Sin. So just because you introduce wireless functionality you do it at 1200% price difference? NOPE. HUGE NOPE. Imagine if we all Stopped buying Apple products for 3 Years. Imagine the looks on their faces year after year when they see 0 Sold Products :O:O:O. That would be awesome.
