i upgraded from the 11 to the 14 plus and i have zero regrets. before my 11, i had the 7 plus and i missed how big that was. it was a no brainer for me to get either the 14 plus or pro max. ultimately, based on price, the 14 plus made more sense. i have no regrets and i love my new phone! great review :)

I LOVE my 14 plus and get tired of reviewers pointing out how well it stacks up to the pro max, then still advising people to buy the pro max anyway. Not everyone needs the pro features and wants to waste an extra $300 to do so. The battery life is excellent and has the features I want in a phone 💜💜💜💜💜
I actually prefer the notch over the dynamic island. In any case, I just wanted a bigger screen phone in the 14 series, coming from an SE. Can’t wait to get my Plus!
Same. Hate the Dynamic Island. It sticks out too much while the notch blends in. They likely made it the "island" to try to make it seem like an awesome exclusive feature you can only get on the Pro models. If they had instead made a Dynamic Notch, then they would be expected to enable the same on not just the 14s but also 12 and 13 models too unless they made the notch even smaller on the 14 Pros. That would then reduce incentive for people to buy 14 Pros. All that would be better then is the 120 Hz display and ProRAW photos and ProRes videos, both of which are way beyond would that vast majority of people need, take up a shit ton of space, and will likely be compressed down and reduced in quality by social media apps anyway.
After watching & reading WAY TOO MANY iPhone 14 reviews, this is where I stop. The Pro - screen too small, Pro Max - perfect but crazy expensive, so with a good camera, larger screen & great battery life, taking your advice & going for the iPhone 14 Plus!(upgrading Samsung Galaxy S8+ to my 1st Apple iPhone) Truly appreciate the very informative, very honest & very funny review... My husband has a Samsung smartphone. I think they can take some great pics, but besides that, the iPhones just have so much better operating systems than Android. I have the 14 plus. I debated between 13 pro max, and this 14 plus. Ultimately, opted for the 14 plus. I have zero complaints :)
Haha I’m in the same boat. I’ve been in a wormhole after ordering my 14 plus. The only thinrg I wish it had was 120hz or the dynamic island feature. It just makes it look more modern. But regardless I picked up the 14 plus and opened it. However my old carrier is making Verizon wait five days to activate my new phone or number so now I’m stuck in this in between where I’m using my se 2020 and wondering if it was worth it.
I just got the iPhone 14 plus last week and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT I had the 13, but I had chipped the camera a little . I didn’t wanna pay the $200 + to get it fixed so I decided to get myself an early Christmas present. I love the 14 plus for many many reasons - The camera and video camera quality -The size -How clear the pixels are while watching videos and or playing games -The battery life So much more and even more I still need to learn I have no complaints abt the phone I’d say it’s a 10/10 and I recommend to get it

Help me! The only thing holding me back from buying the 14 plus is the 60ghz. People told me the 120ghz is extremely superior. I don’t know if it’s ok the 60ghz. What is your experience with this???
@@aliciafoxxxy7943if you have the budget get ip14pro max, which is off course much better, and weigh more, for a small hand of me weighing more is hassle and struggle on my part, but if you want better battery good camera as well, 60ghz is fine anyway, lighter which is bug deal on me, because i have 12promax same weigh as 14promax, i'm struggling when in using it all the time, 😂😂 but yeah it still up to you, this is only my personal experience hope it helps.

BATTERY LIFE AMAZING! I have the blue version and its not amazing how smooth it works, iPhone usually does a good job with that especially when brand new. The screen size is amazing and make's pictures, movies, games look amazing. Pictures are top tier. Also finally I wanna say 100% worth the price.
I have the 14 Pro and the 14 Plus. My pro is just sitting in a box, I used it for maybe 2 months. I absolutely love the plus, that’s the one I actually use that’s activated with my carrier. If my pro wasn’t carrier locked, I would sell it. The plus is light, I love that. Battery lasts all day, the dynamic island is just a gimmick it actually takes up more of the screen. The plus should have came with 120 Hz though, even the base model 14 should have 120 or at least 90 that part is BS on apples part.
I still use my MacBook Pro 2015, iPad Pro 2018 and iPhone 12 and have no reason to upgrade anytime soon but always enjoy watching your videos! Probably will consider the Plus model since I don’t need the features of the Pro models, but the bigger screen is nice. Hopefully Dynamic Island comes to the non-Pro models in the future

I’m hesitant about the dynamic island. I’ve got the 14 plus. I’ve heard several complaints about the dynamic island being intrusive and kind of annoying? I suppose y’all are right, and it’s inevitable that it’ll be on all new model iPhones soon.

Same I just now upgraded to 14 plus from an old iPhone 6s with a broken case and screen and has a hundred million problems like draining the entire battery in 1 hour, switching between alarm on and off constantly, slowwww connection and loading, etc, etc, etc. This 14 plus is a MONSTER upgrade 😂😅

Had the 12 pro max for 2 years was looking at at least a battery replacement, charging port replacement and screen replacement possibly even more so I decided to just buy a new phone and I ended up going with the iPhone 14 plus it’s absolutely amazing and this battery life is easily the #1 thing that stands out to me
Haven’t really had it long enough to give a fair answer on that but just everything about the phone in general feels better so far honestly, the actual graphics on the phone seem to be very Pristine and crystal clear arguably better then the 12 pro max
Another quality content. In my opinion the notch with the ability of the dynamic island will be better plus no wasted thin screen space above the island. To put it simpler notch that can move and function like dynamic island. 🇵🇭

Got the 14 plus recently amidst all the negativity … as stated in the video… perfect middle ground … getting 16 hours SOT 😮😮😮 with little camera usage…. Maybe I need to use my phone less😂
A lot of people dont know that the iphone 14, despite having same chip as last year, has 2 GB more RAM. Thinking that the iphone 14 is only iphone 13 just rebranded
exactly, the 14 is using the 13 Pro chipset like you said more RAM and also the stronger/bigger gpu. However at 12,000 SEK/ $1130 the entry level iPhone 14 just got way too expensive for most people and the 14 Plus goes for 13,500 SEK/ $1280. (25% VAT, storage/chemical tax included)
Traded in my iPhone XR recently, for the 14 plus. I definitely do not regret choosing this phone. For me, the long battery life, and lightweight have been amazing.
I compared them 3 times in hands by my personal preference. Thikness and weight which helped me to take a 14 plus .Of course If you work with photography then take the max.
The front facing cameras on these phones really shoot in 4k we must be in the future. Some of these iPhone 14 cameras specifications are reminiscent of some older Xiaomi phones it’s good that apple is catching up. I think a super great camera does make a difference but only slightly, unless you need it badly like for work or something. The new iOS lock screen font is giving me android vibes don’t know how to feel about it.

Anyone in doubt; the pro model has the same battery as the 14 plus. Sidenote: Had to change the 13 pro max TWICE. first it was a software issue. Had the sierra blue. THEN got the alpine green and the back broke WITHOUT ME DROPPING IT! Mind you; I dropped my iPhone 11 so many times and nothing happened. Till this day the best phone I ever had. And it exceeds my expectation on every level. Rn coming from the 13 pro max I’ll definitely opt for a normal glass but the same battery. So 14 plus it is.
just got the 14 plus after using XR and 11 I think 14 plus is the best phone I see no sense in playing ridiculous amounts for a third camera and 120 hz screen I dont even need those features

I think something apple forgot & we forgot as consumers is when the plus models released in 2016 the 7plus had 2 cameras being the superior version of the iphone line up. Then when 2017s lineup happened we still had the 8, & 8plus with the X acting as the more superior camera. Then this trend continued with the xr, xs models. Then when the 11 came out the mainline 11 iphone was the worst option from 2 pro choices. Then now we are on 4 models. Where the pros price tag is $100 more than the plus now. But the plus feels more inferior now that it has come back. So this always seemed interesting to me. As the plus models used to carry extra camera power. Now its just a bigger screen. It would be nice to see the 15 at $599 the 15plus $699 & the pros start at $899. I expect apple to make the plus model stand out more this year if they want it to sell. There is really no reason a phone should cost as much as macbooks.
I bought the iPhone 14+ and have had it less than a month. This is my first iPhone ever. I’ve always bought androids. It took a few days to get used to it and to figure things out but luckily my grands😢has an iPhone so any time I couldn’t figure something out I just send him a text and he texts me thru it. I ❤ the beautiful yellow color and I bought a crystal clear cell phone case just so I can see the color, iKR lol I’m a dork 😂 The battery life is great! Holds a charge longer than any other ph😢I’ve had so far. I’m so impressed some of the things you can do with n the 14+ and I think it’s so cool you can “unsend” a text message from other ip😅users. I love the size of the screen too the only thing that would make the screen perfect is if that island I think maybe that’s what it’s called was not on the screen when your watching videos etc. But that is the only thing I miss about my android is that there’s no island on the screen!

I love your channel and the ease to watch your videos is amazing. You are super clear and actually know a lot of useful facts that other videos leave out. Thanks for the video. I am currently using my 14 plus in product red and I LoVE it! I have an iPhone 14 pro in midnight but after 2 days of use waking up early for work with listening to Spotify on my AirPods, 7+ hours drains that pro battery about 30% if not more. I would leave work at 3:30 with 54% of a charge left and my plus is in the high 80’s with the same use if not more. I’ve always been a 11pro, 13 pro guy but this year the 14 pro battery just isn’t cutting it, maybe it is the AOD but if that is the case why pay extra for the pro? I love not having that dumb island as it is annoying while watching videos or playing games. Picture quality is actually better imo on the plus UNLESS you take it in 48 MP using apples proRAW feature and then edit it on a computer, otherwise the 14 plus is practically identical and takes videos the same, selfies the same as the pro and it is so light and being bigger it makes the 14 pro feel like a little brick in your pocket even though it is 3 grams heavier. The iPhone 14 pro lineup this year is way too heavy as well as having a much too heavy added camera and frame. Also the batteries in the pro’s need to be much bigger due to the AOD and they are not! The AOD drains the 14 pro about 3-5% per hour of constant usage so once I turned it off I decided to go with the 14 plus with a sim tray and I love it. DM if interested as I still have apple care+ theft and loss for 2 years on the 14 pro 256gb midnight black, tempered glass screen protector and Torras clear screen protector with mag safe ring/stand and also an apple midnight leather mag safe case. It was in my pocket for only 2 days at work. It is a nice phone but I’m not interested in the 48mp camera as I’m not a photographer, just a student.

I have the 14 plus and am so disappointed in this phone. Lately it freezes and Apple just said they can fix. But since I don’t want a fix phone I just ordered the 14 pro max. I love the color blue but it’s crazy a new phone freezing already
The weight of the pro models is their biggest downfall. Just enormous, heavy, bulky to use in real role. Defeats the entire purpose of using a “handset” and something that is portable and pocketable.

Is using 128gb hard? I had the note 10 which had 256gb and I'm scared of downgrading
Same I just now upgraded to 14 plus from an old iPhone 6s with a broken case and screen and has a hundred million problems like draining the entire battery in 1 hour, switching between alarm on and off constantly, slowwww connection and loading, etc, etc, etc. This 14 plus is a MONSTER upgrade 😂😅

Had the 12 pro max for 2 years was looking at at least a battery replacement, charging port replacement and screen replacement possibly even more so I decided to just buy a new phone and I ended up going with the iPhone 14 plus it’s absolutely amazing and this battery life is easily the #1 thing that stands out to me
Does the digital zoom is good?
Because the only thing that bothers me is the lack of optical zoom
Haven’t really had it long enough to give a fair answer on that but just everything about the phone in general feels better so far honestly, the actual graphics on the phone seem to be very Pristine and crystal clear arguably better then the 12 pro max

However at 12,000 SEK/ $1130 the entry level iPhone 14 just got way too expensive for most people and the 14 Plus goes for 13,500 SEK/ $1280. (25% VAT, storage/chemical tax included)

Traded in my iPhone XR recently, for the 14 plus. I definitely do not regret choosing this phone. For me, the long battery life, and lightweight have been amazing.

I compared them 3 times in hands by my personal preference. Thikness and weight which helped me to take a 14 plus .Of course If you work with photography then take the max.
The front facing cameras on these phones really shoot in 4k we must be in the future. Some of these iPhone 14 cameras specifications are reminiscent of some older Xiaomi phones it’s good that apple is catching up. I think a super great camera does make a difference but only slightly, unless you need it badly like for work or something. The new iOS lock screen font is giving me android vibes don’t know how to feel about it.
The battery life is unbeatable.

Had 14 people plus since December I decided to sell last week and replace it with the 14 pro 14 plus was a decent device…. Day 1 of 14 pro I’m happy I did it…. 14 plus better battery the rest is worse so pros n cons the pro is much faster brightness etc I’m loving it

Actually, half of them DO indeed own the 14 Plus. But it’s just preference after all
I think something apple forgot & we forgot as consumers is when the plus models released in 2016 the 7plus had 2 cameras being the superior version of the iphone line up. Then when 2017s lineup happened we still had the 8, & 8plus with the X acting as the more superior camera.
Then this trend continued with the xr, xs models. Then when the 11 came out the mainline 11 iphone was the worst option from 2 pro choices.
Then now we are on 4 models. Where the pros price tag is $100 more than the plus now. But the plus feels more inferior now that it has come back.
So this always seemed interesting to me. As the plus models used to carry extra camera power. Now its just a bigger screen.
It would be nice to see the 15 at $599 the 15plus $699 & the pros start at $899.
I expect apple to make the plus model stand out more this year if they want it to sell.
There is really no reason a phone should cost as much as macbooks.

I bought the iPhone 14+ and have had it less than a month. This is my first iPhone ever. I’ve always bought androids. It took a few days to get used to it and to figure things out but luckily my grands😢has an iPhone so any time I couldn’t figure something out I just send him a text and he texts me thru it. I ❤ the beautiful yellow color and I bought a crystal clear cell phone case just so I can see the color, iKR lol I’m a dork 😂 The battery life is great! Holds a charge longer than any other ph😢I’ve had so far. I’m so impressed some of the things you can do with n the 14+ and I think it’s so cool you can “unsend” a text message from other ip😅users. I love the size of the screen too the only thing that would make the screen perfect is if that island I think maybe that’s what it’s called was not on the screen when your watching videos etc. But that is the only thing I miss about my android is that there’s no island on the screen!

I love your channel and the ease to watch your videos is amazing. You are super clear and actually know a lot of useful facts that other videos leave out. Thanks for the video. I am currently using my 14 plus in product red and I LoVE it! I have an iPhone 14 pro in midnight but after 2 days of use waking up early for work with listening to Spotify on my AirPods, 7+ hours drains that pro battery about 30% if not more. I would leave work at 3:30 with 54% of a charge left and my plus is in the high 80’s with the same use if not more. I’ve always been a 11pro, 13 pro guy but this year the 14 pro battery just isn’t cutting it, maybe it is the AOD but if that is the case why pay extra for the pro? I love not having that dumb island as it is annoying while watching videos or playing games. Picture quality is actually better imo on the plus UNLESS you take it in 48 MP using apples proRAW feature and then edit it on a computer, otherwise the 14 plus is practically identical and takes videos the same, selfies the same as the pro and it is so light and being bigger it makes the 14 pro feel like a little brick in your pocket even though it is 3 grams heavier. The iPhone 14 pro lineup this year is way too heavy as well as having a much too heavy added camera and frame. Also the batteries in the pro’s need to be much bigger due to the AOD and they are not! The AOD drains the 14 pro about 3-5% per hour of constant usage so once I turned it off I decided to go with the 14 plus with a sim tray and I love it. DM if interested as I still have apple care+ theft and loss for 2 years on the 14 pro 256gb midnight black, tempered glass screen protector and Torras clear screen protector with mag safe ring/stand and also an apple midnight leather mag safe case. It was in my pocket for only 2 days at work. It is a nice phone but I’m not interested in the 48mp camera as I’m not a photographer, just a student.

I have the 14 plus and am so disappointed in this phone. Lately it freezes and Apple just said they can fix. But since I don’t want a fix phone I just ordered the 14 pro max. I love the color blue but it’s crazy a new phone freezing already
The weight of the pro models is their biggest downfall. Just enormous, heavy, bulky to use in real role. Defeats the entire purpose of using a “handset” and something that is portable and pocketable.

to go for 14 plus instead of 14 pro or pro max since the price difference is about 200$? In my country the price difference in 14 plus and 14 pro max is 618$(which is 50% more price that of 14 plus 256gb) and I'm having hard time deciding, can you help me Adam because I'm planning to use the iPhone I'll buy now for at least 4 years.
