People like my parents find iPhones to be way easier. They don’t care about customizing their phones, they just want to use the phone app, FaceTime video, WhatsApp and TH-cam. I carry both an Android phone and iPhone. They have their pros and cons. I suggest people to use what they like and not belittle others for using something different.

100% agree! I wish people just let people use what they like/want and stop shamming people for using what they want

Being able to customize more doesn't mean you have to. I think iOS users think customizing must be a chore because on iOS it is a tedious and time consuming project to try to clean up your home screen. That's just not the case on Android, where it starts clean and then you can add a few things to it here and there as needed. If you don't want to spend time customizing things then iOS is actually way worse.

I have been a life-long Android user of almost 13 years (post-Nokia era) and I recently switched to the 15 PM as I thought it had the least amount of trade-offs, being an Android guy and tech-head. To my surprise the experience way more friction-less in terms of adapting to a new OS and lifestyle; I totally agree with Ali, the divide between the two realms is super narrow now. Have fun and do switch it up once in a while (if you got the means), you may just end up surprising yourself. For now, I am enjoying the iPhone experience to the Pro Max.

I just went back to iphone after using android for 5 years. I like the look and colors of the android display. There's way more to customize and mess around with in Android, and you can almost use android like a mini pc.
IPhones feel nicer in the hands and have a more premium feel about them. But IPhones are so locked down you'll quickly be disappointed that you have so much phone and not much to do with it.

I'm thinking about upgrading my Note10 plus to an IPhone15 PM. I don't care for customization. I feel like there's too much on my phone. I've had my Note10 plus for 4.5 years and I'm finding new features that I've never used today. So overwhelming 😂 I was also gifted an Apple Watch 9 and I want to try Apple's ecosystem for the first time. Also can you explain the difference between Apple Pay and Google pay? Which one works better? Great video thanks a bunch 😊

Why do people think having the ability to customize means you must spend time customizing? It's there if you want. It's not something that it forces you to do. I'd argue Apple forces you to spend more time customizing and cleaning up because you have to tediously move each icon one by one to clean up the default, which is to randomly puke icons arbitrarily all over the place. Android just puts everything into a simple alphabetical list inside a drawer. It's the difference between throwing all your papers randomly in piles all over your desk or using a file cabinet.

I think getting "mad" about it only turns off the other camp instead of convincing them of anything though. One thing I hate is how much cell phone service providers messes up Android when it comes to Software updates. I understand that they have to make sure their apps are compatible with the update, but I feel like that should be up the user. I don’t use the apps that T-Mobile, AT&T and so on forces unto the device. I also don’t use a lot of the apps that Samsung installs on the devices. Most I can’t remove, usually have to disable them and try to hide them. Give us the option to install what we want during setups and delete what we don’t want.

Once the providers learned Android is spyware, they signed contracts to get a piece of the "pie" and have their thumb right in the pie for all Androids they "sell"/finance to customers. There is an alternative though, which is to stick with Google Pixels, in which you get automatic updates and only Google gets to spy on you (well, until they sell it 100 times to others for a profit.)

Look folks, if homescreen icons are more important to you than everything about you being processed by future super-AI's to learn how to "capture" and manipulate you, then go ahead and have fun. And this is even if we're generous and count only the people in the vacuum of eco-jail, who consider the device only in itself, and not how it plays with other eco-compatible devices. In the eco-jail of considering the lonely device by itself, the functionality of iOS vs Android is so close to equitable that fanboyying one or there other is just an admission of being a loser. One can do this thing a tiny bit better, the other does some other thing a tiny bit better, it's a wash. But even then, people in eco-jail favor iOS. People with no computer, no tablet, no wireless bluetooth ear-buds, no nothing, favor iOS by about 93% when they have used both for over two years. That's an amazing statistic!
BUT once you leave eco-jail and enter eco-heaven, iOS vs Android is like Mike Tyson vs grandma in a wheelchair. If you go 100% Samsung for earbuds, computer, tablet, watch, and phone, only then does the competition get a little closer. Now it's Mike Tyson vs. a lightweight fighter. That little lightweight fighter has a few tricks up the sleeve here and there, but still goes down HARD when the first heavy punch lands. And can't get back up or even count to three.

I've been an android user my entire life up until iphone 12 where I switched to that then went back to s23 ultra. The one thing I absolutely LOVE about the iPhone is that, the apps are MADE for the iPhone. Samsung and many other Android phones uses an os system that has to configure to so many different screen sizes, camera specs, and dimensions of the phone itself. Because of that, the apps made for the phone are not often at its best. For example, something that bothered me switching to s23 ultra again was the messenger app. If you took a picture using the app the rendering of the image is terrible but its okay if you took with your phone then sent it as a message. I love my s23 sure, but small inconveniences can add up. For that I learned to love both, if I want pure and raw phone capabilities Android is the wait to go, if I want simplicity and accessibility iphone no doubt. To each your own. @@aliateeqvisuals It’s recommended to close an app only when it works incorrectly or crashes (which still is a rare occasion). And this feature is used mostly to quickly switch between apps. Plus they say it’s more power efficient to not close your apps at all.

@@aliateeqvisuals He enjoys using sms instead of RCS, that's why he thinks that the blue bubble is better, bubble colors don't matter anyways, but some or most stupid iOS users complain about the bubble being in a different color rather than blue, & RCS stands for "Rich Communication Services" in case you didn't know what "RCS" stands for, RCS is also the modern messaging standard for messaging apps that will switch from SMS to RCS, Google was the first to do it with their messaging app, :)

First, thanks for the video. Please, don’t close the apps that are background like you do on Android. It is a mistake to close those apps. IOS is different: to make the iphone faster and to save battery you leave it that way and on the settings you can control what apps can work background. I hope it answer your question
