These are great for monitoring! I make music with a friend and when we record, we use these. They sound really clear so you can hear detail of what you are recording. Glad you liked my video!
Thanks dude. This is one of the only good reviews on the hd 205's I have seen. Yes they are tight but once you wear them in that goes away. Also these headphones ARE more than able to handle any bass you throw at them they will not distort. Beats just add bass to everything so in comparisson bass seems weak but if you are listening on anythying other than a cheap mp3 player you should be able to just add some bass and the sennheiser KILL beats in overall quality.
Thanks man! And yeah I still own this exact pair and they have been put through a lot of use, travel and wear. Here is my updated opinion on these 205's; Still sound the same as when I bought them, really comfortable, durable, and just overall great headphones! I now own about 9 different headphones but find myself using the 205's and my Monster N-Tune V2's most often.
What would you recommend? sennheiser 205 hd vs sony xb600 I like the bass in the sony but they are on ear and that sucks so what's your pick? have you ever listened to both of them?

Are they uncomfortable?
How long is the cord please?
Very long, 3 meters.
Right, thanks.
I have sent you a personal message as a reply. :)
please could you send me a pm aswell with this information?
I don't care how many other headphones you have or who's using them now. You're obviously not a professional so how is this an "official review"?
